Torta de asada
Cecilia C.

Not impressed with the tortas. $11 for it to only have beans, lettuce, tomato and little meat w/ not enough salsa. This was the truck on Soscol.

Scrap meat Asada. Disgusting.
Chelly H.

I usually enjoy the food here, but lately the meat has not been at its best quality. I recently ordered an Asada burrito and it had huge chunks of inedible scrap meat. It ruined my whole appetite. I cant believe they bumped the price of Asada for a $1 more now with that type of quality. Disappointing.

People kept stopping by to take pictures there, and it was nice watching everyone having fun and making their own Napa memories. The place is colorful and has a really nice vibe, especially the floral and butterfly mural , definitely a spot where you'll want to take a few pics. Our food was fresh, flavorful, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was just a nice, easygoing lunch with family and a good break during our Napa day out. Nothing rushed, just good food, fresh air, and a fun atmosphere. Would definitely stop by again when we're in Napa.

How do you mess up Mexican food? Had dinner last night and the place was packed, so packed that our…read moreserver said the kitchen was backed up and it may take awhile. So we asked for salsa and chips and settled in. Even though it was incredibly noisy, the lighting and general look was fun and energetic, and there was room enough for a large party of 12, as well as outdoor seating. First the good part: the margarita flight was colorful, and presented on a wooden stand ready to be photographed. The various flavors were good and it was just the right size for sharing. The cocktails in general were good but my margarita tasted syrupy and like it was all mix. A red flag for what was to come. Now the bad: we ordered the massive burrito and a side of Mexican street corn. While the burrito looked impressive on the outside, it was so bad we were truly shocked. The filling was almost all rice with the tiniest amount of loose black beans mixed with some meat-like substance that was flavorless and dry. That was it. We tried to choke down a few bites but it was just a mushy rice bomb not worth the calories or time to eat. Maybe the kitchen ran out of beans and overfilled with rice, and maybe the meat was just whatever they could scrape from a skillet, but there was no excuse for that awful meal especially in Napa. The one plus from the evening was the service. Everyone we interacted with from the door staff to our server was so friendly and never made us feel rushed or that they were too busy to refill water or take away empty glasses etc. Our server was clearly handling a lot of tables but she was so cheerful and upbeat that it really made a truly awful meal a nice evening out regardless. Bottom line: with all the amazing Mexican food in Napa, at every price point and style I'd skip this place and choose one of the many amazing restaurants on the same street.

I will admit that after about 10 minutes of waiting, I did consider leaving but once we were inside waiting and I was able to grab a menu, I knew I had to try them out. The woman behind the register was not super friendly but I understand they were very busy. I asked about their purple potato taco because I love purple potatoes but I didn't see it on the menu. I had read a review about them online and that was the reason we decided to come here. She just shook her head and said they didn't have it. I ordered the dirty fries instead. My husband ordered some miscellaneous tacos and rice and beans. I believe some were Al Pastor and campechano. He enjoyed that the tacos were very meaty or in the case of the al pastor that they had pineapple bits in them. He liked the flavor and he really enjoyed sampling the different salsas available. The beans and rice were standard. I personally loved the sauce on the dirty fries and although they weren't super crispy, they didn't get soggy from the toppings. Since they use waffle fries, that makes it easier to dig into the toppings as well. We would definitely come back but perhaps on a slower day...if they even have those.

Our waiter Marco Jr was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We started out with some cocktails before our food came out. I had a Cucumber Margarita and he had the Cadillac Margarita! His came with the traditional salt rim and mine came with a tajin rim. Both were amazing drinks! I really enjoyed the Cucumber and tajin combination. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as glass garage door that allows part of the indoor space to be partially open to the outside! However, on October 21, we were extremely disappointed with the service. Starting with the service, the staff seemed completely unwilling to help. Honestly, the moment we walked through the door, we felt like turning around and leaving. I thought things might improve, but they actually got worse when our drinks arrived. My wife and I ordered a Coca-Cola and a Piña Colada. The Piña Colada was served in a beer glass and tasted more like a bland milkshake than a cocktail. It had no flavor and looked completely unappealing. My Coca-Cola, which came in a 500 ml bottle, was simply placed on the table without a glass or a straw. I guess I was expected to drink straight from the bottle. The food, on the other hand, is always wonderful. The flavor is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. The food is worth every penny. Unfortunately, the poor service and disappointing drinks made this visit a frustrating experience, especially considering how much we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Clean, pleasant restaurant with a family atmosphere.

But, who knew ordering nachos at a "order at the counter" place would take that long. Honestly have no idea what was going on in there but it was clear getting our nachos out was not a priority. And if something is going to take that long should you not inform he customer??
