The front of the store

Was craving a burger but the patty was so thin. The kids working there were doing a great job. It's vintage in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place because of size portions. Taste was good but not for the price.

Technically Beer-Battered Fish & Chips

I'm sorry Big D's but what happened? Used to be a great little Americana style Drive-In with great food... but something has changed and I can't justify coming here anymore. The Fish n Chips used to have decent pieces of deep fried fish, then they shrunk a bit into ok sized pucks but now? For $17 no less? I've seen McDonald's sized chicken nuggets larger than these pieces of fish... it just makes me sad because this was a place me and my dad loved to enjoy eating at together. I hope you guys figure out what's wrong and get back on track because this current path isn't it.

Cheeseburger $10.99
Sonya B.

Beloved by locals, Big D must rely on nostalgia because its burgers are inferior to the local competition. It's sad, but the $10.99 cheeseburger has a very slim patty that is tough to cook without being dry. The sesame seed-topped burger bun was fresh and the lettuce crisp, but the burger's best attribute was its selection of cheeses. The reheated curly fries were so disappointing, too. The menu also includes shakes, various fried items, including fish and shrimp, and an option to have a hot dog in many ways. If I find myself here again, I'll try the chili dog or a shake.

One of the best burgers around period!! Big D burger with bacon.

I hadn't been here in about 15 years. Went and had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Bacon cheese burger and curly fries

I've passed this place so many work mornings and finally had the chance to check them out on the way home today. Located off of Silverado trail with a decent sized parking lot and outer eating area. Looks like your typical burger spot that lasted decades with decent food and friendly service. I wasnt too hungry so I went with a cheeseburger and curly fries. I wanted to try the Big D burger but I'll save that for when I'm up for it and not in a rush. I ate it there, kinda outdated like a foster freeze type decor but clean enough to eat there. My burger did its job, not bad but nothing special. The fries however were very underwhelming and I found myself leaving most of them behind. The workers were really cool and it got kinda busy when we were leaving but it's not quite the traditional burger joint I was hoping it would be. I'd come back to support the business but I can't promise you're gonna love it. The lady that I asked at the 711 told me it hasn't been the same since the covid lock down bs and I'll take her word for it. I don't wanna be too hard on them but they're just ok..

Hawaiian Burger, Sweet Potato Fries w side of thousand island dressing

I decided to give this place a go bc it looked old school, was off the beaten path and didn't look too busy. Place was clean, servers super friendly and engaging and helped with some recommendations. I decided to go with the Hawaiian burger, sweet potato fries, drink and cookie, which I was told it was homemade. I made sure to eat everything (with the exception of the cookie) bc it cost me upwards of $30. The pros: good quality ingredients served fresh, friendly servers. Burger had good flavor with Canadian bacon and avocado. The cons: Everything was al la carte which made for a more expensive lunch. Cookie was crunchy and not very edible. Ratio of ingredients to price was low: the burger had a skinny patty, one pineapple slice and there was more bun leftover. I'm glad I tried a new spot, but unless they work out some combo deals, too pricey.

Patty Melt

I thought the onion rings were fantastic. The patty melt was disappointing. A few booths inside and plenty of seating outside. Large menu.

Kiddo liked his double bacon cheeseburger

Great service and food. Prices are way up but that's every business at this point. The food has a home made vibe to it, similar to a Nation's burger. Big portions so definitely a satisfying meal. Will come again.

Burger special

This place is not what it used to be. Pre pandemic and years back it was semi- decent. The last few visits the kids working here have zero concern for cross contamination or cleaning anything. Smells downright funky inside and out. One time our burgers were green rotten. I tried reaching out to owners, no one responds. They recently jacked up the prices. Paid over $30 for two fish and chips. super meager small portions. Fries werent cooked all the way. Wont be coming back. They wanted $8.88 for a SMALL shake. Get real. Quit ripping off folks.

Very salty Krinkle Cut Fries.....too salty.

Super busy location especially on the weekends!…read more Located near Napa's Oxbow market, Gott's has something for everyone - variety of delicious burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, hot dogs, fries, ice cream and milkshakes, and alcohol. Love the specials menu too. My faves are the western burger, ahi tuna tacos, garlic, sweet potato fries with the aioli and of course, the delicious ice cream and milkshakes. Great quality, friendly service, and indoor and outdoor seating. Ample napkins, ketchup available. Ambiance is clean and casual. Prices equate to upscale fast food.

I've seen them around I've had their garlic fries when I've had the craving but I've never really ordered anything else. This time I ordered the Vietnamese chicken salad and chili cheese fries on the side. My date ordered the California burger and sweet potato fries. When we got our food, my date said, she should have ordered the salad that looks so good. You know what? It was bomb! Super flavorful and refreshing. It made everything else taste bland or maybe it was bland, not the salad though. I would come back for the salad. The chili had no flavor, my date said her burger didn't have any flavor and she regretted choosing it. I don't normally like sweet potato fries but they were good from here.

I can't believe I haven't shared a review of this spot yet! Friendly staff and just a very well oiled-machine. The Vietnamese Chicken Salad is something to write home about. Served with a Peanut Lime Vinaigrette, the salad has a variety of lettuces, mung beans sprouts, peanuts, crispy fried chicken breast, green onions, pickled red Fresno chiles, and I'm sure I'm missing a few ingredients :) it's so delicious and worthy of its own review. The burgers and onion rings with ranch sauce, always superb. Honestly, never had a bad meal here. The menu also features an Ahi Burger, Cubano Sandwich, and a variety of unique burger options including turkey burgers, Impossible burgers, beef patties, and also Impossible chicken nuggets. There's plenty of other fun sides like chili cheese fries and fried Brussels, and other menu items including tacos, hot dogs, soups, and a kiddo menu. I think they may use some of that at this restaurant, but I'm not sure. I came in with my parents on a weekday so we were able to get seated pretty much right away. Everyone from the person seating us and our server was just so friendly. I got a coffee and ordered the "Green Eggs and Ham", my dad got the breakfast burrito, and my mom got the Dungeness crab benedict. We also got a few of their fresh donuts to start. Because the place wasn't super busy, I think our food came out at a great pace and gave me a chance to enjoy just being there and the donuts with my coffee. I really enjoyed the Green Eggs and Ham and got a bite each of what my parents got. I enjoyed everything and so did they. Just a great time and great meal all around. The breakfast burrito is so big, you can share it with another person. It is a wet burrito so we had to use a knife, fork. It was loaded! I liked that the inside wasn't dry for how big it was. The chicken in the chicken and waffles was crispy and had a nice crunch to it. The waffles were cooked perfectly and the sweet brown butter that came with was so delightful and was a nice touch. Definitely recommend, but expect a good wait on weekends!
