Imagination on Fire didn't miss once. Ordered a burger which comes with fries and some spicy tenders with upgraded truffle fries. The burger was really good and properly seasoned. Spicy tenders were super crispy with a Nashville-like glaze and the truffle fries were overwhelming with truffle in the best way. It has been years! I have worked in the city for over 2 years and still cannot find a place that beats this chicken sandwich. I finally decided to take a Friday off and was craving Imagination on Fire. I drove over during the rainstorm and got to the place at 2:34 and realized that they were on their lunch break. You bet I waited until 3pm for their return. But it was worth it. I asked for my sandwich deconstructed and drove back home. Side note - I usually love my food hot, if it's meant to be eaten hot, I'm eating it fresh. But because I really wanted to enjoy it I waited until I got home. Unlike other places, I will tell you this, these tenders can be placed in the air fryer and are still as juicy and crispy as it is fresh. The customer service is 10/10. This is a food truck. They do a few things (smash burger, fried chicken sandwich, spicy fried chicken sandwich, and chicken tenders), plus fries, and they usually have cookies. They will often have a special, such as a brisket sandwich. They do these things very well. I have been going here since they opened, and have tried everything but the smash burger. My dad, rather picky, liked their burger quite a bit. I like their chicken quite a bit. It's very good. Crispy, moist, it's very satisfying to eat. The sandwiches are basically their chicken tenderloins on a bun. You get two very large chicken tenderloins plus pickled cabbage and regular cabbage on a brioche bun. They will usually add mayo but I HATE mayo so I order it without, and with the addition of pickles. Their spicy chicken sandwich is very spicy. I love it but if you can't handle much spice, don't order this. Their fries are very good. They are included with the sandwich, well-seasoned, and with just the right level of crispiness. If you have a craving for a good fried chicken sandwich with good fries, this is the place to go. This is truly one of the (much) better fried chicken sandwiches in Napa, and also reasonably affordable for the times. It's not fancy but it's very tasty. read more

Time and time again, great food with excellent service makes Imagination On Fire my go-to for a great foodie experience. Today I got the Smashburger! Soft, buttered Brioche Bun that was perfectly toasted, then you sink in to the tender Smashburger beef with melted cheddar cheese, sliced onions and delicious pickles. This truck is amazing!!!! Best fried chicken I've ever had paired perfectly with the bun. I feel the spicy component wasn't effectively spicy enough but everything paired so nicely together. The brioche bun the slightly tangy sauce the crispiness of the greens. It didn't need the honey mustard sauce but it definitely elevated it. Let me tell you something Napan's, you HAVE to try these guys out. They are only open till 7:00pm and they are only there a few days a week, but these guys are the real deal and I would put their spicy crispy chicken sandwich up against any other Napa restaurants. The sandwiche was Huge and these days of Shrink-O-Nomics, it is a pleasant surprise. The chicken was fresh and very juicy. I was extremely excited to try this place out. As a local I'm always looking for great places to eat. I texted my order ahead of time and when I got there I was instructed to stand in line. I watched 2 groups of people ahead of me and when it was my turn to pay and get my order, I noticed the chef not wearing a mask. It was a bandana around his neck and he was toasting the hamburger buns. I politely walked away and called from my car to let them know that I would not be picking up my order to the noncompliance of masking. They made excuses, said that they follow all of the health guidelines and that the mask must have fallen down. Well I saw what I saw and if you are going to open a business during a pandemic then you should make sure your mask is worn correctly for the safety of others. If you don't want to wear a mask then please be honest so customers know what to expect. read more
