Visiting Illinois for work and had to stop to eat in the local cafe. This place was great and the gentleman host is so sweet. The food was delicious and we truly enjoyed it. The place is very welcoming, the staff are super attentive and the ambiance is just perfect. The restrooms are very clean and the parking lot is big. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast. The coffee is great and your cup will never hit empty unless you say...your done. In all my travels this has been one of my favorite cafe's...it reminded me of a café I would visit in Tucson AZ off of Prince road that closed after the pandemic. On to the next and remember to tip your servers

Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning. It was my first visit to this restaurant. I knew our server from another restaurant. She is great. They had tables available and we were sat immediately. We ordered the deluxe lunch plates which came with a side and soup. No, not a cup of soup, a BOWL!! With a delicious herb breadstick! The potato soup was fabulous! I hardly had room for my lunch! The monte Cristo was very good. The sweet potato fries were the best!! I will definitely be adding Morningside to my brunch rotation!

Bowel of chili... - A white plate contains chili with shredded cheese and chopped onions, placed on a beige tray with wrapped crackers, on a dark wooden table.

It was our first time trying the Morningside Café... We were there for a quick, simple lunch... I ordered a grilled cheese and my friend had the chili. My grilled cheese was very tasty and came with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, which was super thick and yummy. My friend said his chili was hot and tasty. Would definitely come back here again !

Skirt steak and eggs scrambled hard and cooked in real butter. Delicious and paleo friendly!

This place is ok. French toast is an optional side with breakfast so that's was exciting. Other than that, pretty forgettable.

Breakfast done right...the skillet was delicious and the pancakes were light and fluffy. This beats the "chains" any day.

From the moment we checked in, the room had no hot water. We contacted the front desk and were told to let it run. It never got hot. About an hour later, we realized the heat was not working either. We contacted the front desk again and explained that we would be leaving around 6:00 PM for New Year's Eve plans and would not return until after 1:00 AM, giving the hotel over six hours to resolve both issues. Maintenance came by and assured us everything would be fine. It was not. We returned around 1:20 AM, went to sleep, and woke up around 8:00 AM to a freezing room reading 52 degrees. The outside temperature that night was about 12 degrees. There was still no heat and no hot water. We contacted the front desk again and immediately checked out. Despite the room being unlivable and unsafe, management told us they would not issue a refund or credit. No heat. No hot water. No accountability. I am requesting that Hyatt corporate leadership review this stay and contact me directly, as this experience reflects a serious breakdown in service standards, guest safety, and basic hospitality expectations

Parking was free, the staff was welcoming, and the rooms were clean. What stood out to me was how easy it was to move around the area, whether with the complimentary shuttle or just the convenient location. Since the hotel is in Lisle, it feels geared toward corporate travelers during the week, but on the weekends it definitely becomes a spot for wedding guests. I saw multiple groups using the shuttle, which is a huge plus if you need it. Overall, the hotel is great and I would stay here again.

**Restaurant Review: 3003 Thirty 0 Three (Located in DoubleTree by Hilton, Lisle, IL)**…read more ### **Dinner Experience** - Had the **burger and fries**, and both were good. - The **burger was large** and satisfying. - The **fries were thick, shoestring-style**, nicely cooked. - Service was **friendly and attentive**--our server mentioned she had just returned to work and that the restaurant recently upgraded their point-of-sale system. - I ordered **unsweet tea** and was happy to learn that they had **brewed tea**, which is sometimes hard to find in Illinois. However, when I received it, it was **so strong and bitter that it was undrinkable**, almost tasting like a concentrate. - Later in the meal, another server pointed out to our server (who had just returned from medical leave) that the tea was **brewed double strength and should have been diluted before serving**--at least that explained why it tasted off. - By the time the issue was identified, I had already switched to water and begun eating, so it was disappointing not to be able to enjoy what I had initially been excited about. ### **Breakfast Buffet** - The buffet offered a **good variety**: bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, pancakes, French toast, cereals, fruits, yogurts, and bread options. - **Bacon stood out** as particularly good. - Staff were **very friendly and attentive**, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. - **Coffee was good**, but **all coffee is charged**, with no complimentary options available outside of the in-room coffee packs. A to-go cup was $4, which I found excessive. ### **Overall Impression** A solid hotel restaurant with **good food and great service**. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection, and the burger at dinner was satisfying. However, the **tea mishap was disappointing**, and the **lack of complimentary coffee** with a $4 charge for a to-go cup felt overpriced.
