Everything is amazing at Ozzie's. Their food is made fresh and is delicious. The blueberry crepes with fresh blueberries is heavenly. Today I ordered a Chef's salad with added blueberries and pecans. I almost stroked out when I saw the enormous size of this salad. Fabulously delicious doesn't even do it justice. Yum. All the servers go out of their way to make your time here memorable. Our server is Lauren. She and the owners, Dashka and Jimmy, know our names and we feel like family here. Very disappointed with the service I received today on 10/06/2025. I called to place one order of two biscuits and gravy with just ONE extra biscuit. After confirming and repeating my order making sure I wasn't being charged for two entrees when I only wanted one and a side biscuit. Ok get to the store I was proceeded to get charged for two orders of the biscuits when I repeated over and over my concern how I specifically wanted to make sure I am not paying for TWO entrees when I just wanted a extra piece of biscuit on the side. I asked the manager to remove the other entrée because I only wanted one, she proceeded to say that that would be a waste of food and she did not want to do that. That is beyond me that they would rather lose a loyal customer that's been coming here for years rather than making sure the customer is happy and satisfied. When I drove out of my way to come to the specific diner passing so many on my way... thank you so much for ruining my experience and to be honest I would not have done there there are so many other places with better quality service or you can actually get treated like family not like here. Very rude very unprofessional didn't even bother to fix their mistake. I was so disgusted with the service that I did not even care to even touch my food. So I proceeded to throw away $25 worth of food when it should've only costed me $12 thank you so much. read more

I had to fend off multiple flies this afternoon as my family of four sat down for a meal at Ozzie's Diner in Aurora. Not to mention one of our four waters had a small dead fly in it. The place is disgusting and the food was trash. Get rid of the nasty flies you're running a restaurant. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday morning. It was our first visit. Our server was very friendly and did a nice job talking about the menu highlights. We ordered the Kentucky Bennie and Hashstack. The menu was full of very original choices as far as breakfast items go, which was refreshing. It made our choices difficult! Both meals were delicious! The sausage and gravy were very flavorful, which came on top of these entrees. It was decorated nicely in what I would call "classic diner." The cinnamon swirl toast was something totally different, and it was to die for! I know I probably have like 10 places in my top brunch place rotation, but this one needs to be there!! read more

The food is delicious! My family and I have been going regularly for about 2 yrs now and have never had anything we don't love! Some of my favorites are the chicken and waffles, the fruit crepes, the pancakes, the fried fish and their burgers. Their breakfast potatoes are out of this world! The staff are the friendliest people I have ever met at a restaurant and make me feel like I'm around family and friends! The prices are amazing, especially at a time like this!! This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in the Oswego/Aurora/Naperville area. The prices are extremely reasonable, the portions are more than generous, and the food is GOOD. Some highlight are their freshly squeezed orange juice and their cinnamon swirl bread. Something that's super important to me and kind of rare for breakfast places is the pork alternatives for the breakfast meats. Ozzie's offers both turkey bacon and turkey sausage on their menu. My favorite thing to get is the hash stack. Their pancakes are ginormous, you really can't go wrong here. The staff is incredibly nice as well. Ozzie's is on a few of the food delivery apps and you can also place pickup orders online or by calling the store. Although the outside is deceiving, I promise you it's some of the best food you'll have in the area. read more

Try the chicken skillet which is made with strips of chicken, onions, green peppers, hash browns and mushrooms if you like and topped with two eggs made the way you like. It comes with two pancakes or toast. He also has lunch and dinner specials like cod dinner special and fried chicken. On Sundays he has a menu with many items, sometimes including steak and pork chops and other specials. The homemade soup is delicious. Ozzie's pricing is reasonable in the range of a family breakfast restaurant. Hours are 7 am to 3 pm. read more

Hash browns were burnt. Ham was for sure frozen then thawed. And the "English muffin" was a giant piece of bread that wouldn't even cut with a steak knife... take away - not good. Service : awesome! We live a few blocks away, so this is a weekend go to. Dining in is always a hit. Delivery/take out can be hit or miss. Love the staff, the dining room is fantastic. This was our first visit here, come hungry! We came in the middle of the week and we were seated right away. The inside is very nice and has a pleasant appeal. Our waitress was very nice and brought our drinks to us straight away. The food is very good portions...I would suggest you come hungry!! You won't leave feeling like you didn't get enough to eat. I had the Haystack skillet and asked for my hash browns extra crispy (or well done). It came with the cinnamon swirl toast which was amazing! Visited again with my daughters and grandson.. The food was great. Homemade corned beef hash skillet served in a stainless steel skillet. The service was great, and so was the food. Been here twice and I've ordered the same thing both times because the first time it was so good!!! My little one and I went the first time for breakfast. This used to be another diner that closed a bit after Covid. I was so happy to see that someone was opening it again and this time it got a facelift. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint and new floors can do to a place. We were seated right away and waters were given to us immediately. Our server was very pleasant and she brought out our drinks. Coffee for me and my little one got chocolate milk which they added whip cream and sprinkles to and my daughter was in heaven. The first time I was there I had the Huevos Rancheros. Layers of tortillas with black beans, guacamole, pepper jack cheese, beef barbacoa, ranchero sauce and sprinkled with cotija cheese. I had my eggs over easy and they were perfect!!! My meal came with coffee and the coffee was pretty good too. My daughter had the Oreo pancakes and those were amazing!! Lots of Oreo crumbles, chocolate sauce and cream cheese spread. The second time I was there my daughter and I ordered the same thing as before and it was just as fantastic. My son had the meat lovers skillet and he said it was very good. I can see myself going here for breakfast very often. Highly recommend this diner. read more

The extensive menu has all the breakfast/brunch/lunch favorites and it was hard to choose. The Stuffed French Toast I decided on had a deliciously sweet smear of cream cheese in-between the stacked round slices of bread. The bananas, and blueberries were fresh and ripe, and the strawberry compote was tasty. My husband had the 4 EGG Veggie omelet with rye toast, and (the star of the dish) the home fries. The omelet was huge but otherwise average. The home fries, however, were fresh, hot, and delicious! Seasoned and crispy on the outside but fluffy and moist on the inside, the serving was big enough for both of us to enjoy and still have leftovers. So good! Service was friendly and decor was clean and casual. Looking forward to trying other dishes at Ozzie's in the future! read more

That' who you want to see in the morning for breakfast. The place is clean and it looked newly renovated, just moved to the area so I don't know if it's been here before or just opened. Anyways came across this after that first breakfast place we came to was full and we had to wait plus my husband was complaining that he does not like to be there, so yelped this place and he was so happy seeing the place.
