Since moving to the area, Ozzie's has quickly become our favorite weekend tradition. There's a great energy here--lots of regulars and a staff that treats you like one from day one. We've worked our way through the menu, but the skillets and waffles are consistent winners. The Pro Tip: Get "Ozzie's Favorite." The country fried steak is perfectly crispy, and that sausage gravy is the real deal. It's the ultimate comfort food.

Very disappointed with the service I received today on 10/06/2025. I called to place one order of two biscuits and gravy with just ONE extra biscuit. After confirming and repeating my order making sure I wasn't being charged for two entrees when I only wanted one and a side biscuit. Ok get to the store I was proceeded to get charged for two orders of the biscuits when I repeated over and over my concern how I specifically wanted to make sure I am not paying for TWO entrees when I just wanted a extra piece of biscuit on the side. I asked the manager to remove the other entrée because I only wanted one, she proceeded to say that that would be a waste of food and she did not want to do that. That is beyond me that they would rather lose a loyal customer that's been coming here for years rather than making sure the customer is happy and satisfied. When I drove out of my way to come to the specific diner passing so many on my way... thank you so much for ruining my experience and to be honest I would not have done there there are so many other places with better quality service or you can actually get treated like family not like here. Very rude very unprofessional didn't even bother to fix their mistake. I was so disgusted with the service that I did not even care to even touch my food. So I proceeded to throw away $25 worth of food when it should've only costed me $12 thank you so much.

We've always passed by this restaurant on our way to Sam's club, finally decided to try and have breakfast. We were not disappointed! We came on a weekday so there's not a lot of people, service was fast. The servings are really generous, you can see in the picture how thick the scrambled eggs are! Aside from generous servings, it is not too expensive and the food's delicious!

I've never had bad food here. I think I have tried all Ozzie's soup even ones I normally don't like and I love them all. Today was chicken tortilla soup. Yum Always have great service as well.

Great breakfast! Love the eggs Benedict and the west coast Bennie. Nice people. Pleasant environment.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning. It was our first visit. Our server was very friendly and did a nice job talking about the menu highlights. We ordered the Kentucky Bennie and Hashstack. The menu was full of very original choices as far as breakfast items go, which was refreshing. It made our choices difficult! Both meals were delicious! The sausage and gravy were very flavorful, which came on top of these entrees. It was decorated nicely in what I would call "classic diner." The cinnamon swirl toast was something totally different, and it was to die for! I know I probably have like 10 places in my top brunch place rotation, but this one needs to be there!!

Excellent service, delicious food at a very reasonably priced menu. I had their breakfast for my lunch. It has three scrambled eggs, two strips of nicely crisp bacon, plus two huge sausages, and cubed potatoes all topped off with two biscuits covered by really tasty gravy.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in the Oswego/Aurora/Naperville area. The prices are extremely reasonable, the portions are more than generous, and the food is GOOD. Some highlight are their freshly squeezed orange juice and their cinnamon swirl bread. Something that's super important to me and kind of rare for breakfast places is the pork alternatives for the breakfast meats. Ozzie's offers both turkey bacon and turkey sausage on their menu. My favorite thing to get is the hash stack. Their pancakes are ginormous, you really can't go wrong here. The staff is incredibly nice as well. Ozzie's is on a few of the food delivery apps and you can also place pickup orders online or by calling the store. Although the outside is deceiving, I promise you it's some of the best food you'll have in the area.

This place will probably become one of my favorites soon as the prices were quite fair for the huge portion size, the interior was comfortable, and all the options on their menu looked delicious. The service was also quick and friendly throughout and I was able to be seated without having to wait during the late morning. For me, the preparation is definitely in the zone of comfort food. The banana cream pie pancakes were creamy and rich without being excessively sweet. The banana flavor really came out well here and the pancakes were nice and fluffy with the slightest hint of malt. Similarly the chocolate chip pancakes were fairly loaded with chocolate chips on top, tied together with a strong dose of chocolate syrup. The meat lovers skillet was as advertised with plenty of cheese and potatoes and a mix of sausage, ham, and bacon. This wasn't overly salty or oily however despite all the components in the dish. The crispy chocolate peanut butter stuffed french toast was really a treat for the dessert lover in me. I was surprised at how crispy the dish was and I think that the peanut butter was slightly seared and a little melty which created a delicious combination right out of the kitchen. This really inspired me to try the standard stuffed and apple stuffed french toast as well, which I expect to prepared equally as well. Overall, great experience and great prices will have me coming back here in the future. It's not overly fancy, but the strong execution of breakfast favorites provide a satisfying experience.

The server seemed to expect we immediately would know what to order, however between the large menu and catching up with my friend, it took some time to decide. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there wasn't really a reason for him to rush us. Overall, nice, typical brunch restaurant.

Terrible. Go elsewhere or you'll be sorry!…read more I was in the area early one morning with my mom and sister so we decided to go for breakfast. I wanted to go to Cracker Barrel, but my sister wanted to try something new so we ended up at this restaurant. There was only one other patron eating when we arrived. Looking back, that should have been our first clue that this wasn't the place to be. Our server/hostess was nice but she literally only took order and brought us our food. I opted for the hash browns, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. First off, the toast was Texas Toast which was odd... it was much too thick, but it didn't matter because it was burnt. They also didn't put butter on it right when it came out of the toaster so it was dry and cold upon arrival to the table. The hash browns had no flavor, but the ketchup and salt/pepper helped make them edible. The eggs were okay as well, but the turkey bacon was gross. It tasted like rubber. I have no idea what brand it was, but it was obviously some cheap off brand. The orange juice was so bitter that I had to exchange it was apple juice. My mom had hash browns, eggs, sausage and pancakes. She didn't care for her food much either. My sister had the corned beef hash, eggs, hash browns, and toast. She loved the corned beef hash and thought everything else was okay. Ultimately, she agreed that we should have gone elsewhere. The restaurant was clean and quiet except for the noise from the television. The bill was about $50 for the three of us. The quality of the food is obviously lower tier. IHOP would've been a better choice and that's not even a place I'd ever even consider visiting.

What a sublime little oasis of Jollity, in this topsy-turvy graceless world!…read more My Bride and I, having just exited CDH from nasty Medical follow-ups, decided to take an alternate route home, it being a beautiful sunny late February day. We saw the retro sign, and dove into the parking lot. An excellent experience. This indeed is a "Family Owned Restaurant" - the kind you seldom see anymore. You know... the kind where the Owner greets you at the door, the staff is friendly and glad you came, the cooks 'on the Line' in back are well dressed and smiling, and everyone seems to be working toward making their Guests welcome and well-fed. God, I miss that culture! We ordered a couple items from their well-rounded Menu. Both were delightful. I had a Mexican Omelette - the best I've had since 2018, when my local Diner in Lisle closed. Today's Omelette was HOT (temperature-wise), with some Jalapeños that themselves carried some (just right!) spiciness to 'em. The Staff was very pleasant, chatted with us a bit, and certainly made us feel welcomed. When we left, carrying some fresh Pie for later, my Bride and I both simultaneously agreed- from now on, after a bout of Poking, Prodding and Snipping at Northwestern Hospital, we'll be stopping at Seven Dwarfs for dome rejuvenation.
