Everything was incredibly clean and the whole place had such a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The waitstaff was absolutely lovely! Everyone was so kind attentive and welcoming throughout our entire meal. And the food was beyond! We ordered pancakes for the table to share and went with the raspberry chocolate pancakes. SO good! They were perfectly fluffy with such a delicious combination of raspberry and chocolate. The presentation was beautiful too! I ordered the delectable Idaho Potato Benedict and the potato pancake was absolute perfection. Crispy delicious and the perfect base for the Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly too. Went Egg-cited for lunch, it's Tuesday so of course I had the cream of mushroom soup, it is amazingly delicious, one of my most favorites, I had a Greek salad along with my soup, the salad was so filling lots of Kalamata olives, and so much feta cheese it was delicious, the dressing complimented everything, I even had a dinner roll with my salad, you will have to ask for the rolls, but I think they make the difference, something to dip in the dressing, a perfect lunch. read more

I am absolutely furious with how my recent order was handled. I placed a takeout order and even repeated my order back to the employee at the front to confirm everything was correct. Rather than listening carefully, she seemed dismissive and uninterested. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered my order was completely wrong. I called the restaurant and was told my corrected order was ready. After driving all the way back, I arrived only to be told it wasn't ready after all and that I would need to wait even longer. Why tell a customer their order is ready when it isn't? What made the situation even worse was the attitude I received from the same employee. Instead of apologizing for the mistake and inconvenience, she argued with me and suggested that I may have ordered incorrectly. Being blamed for the restaurant's mistake is completely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. Unfortunately, this isn't the first negative experience I've had here. Dining in has become frustrating as well. On previous visits, basic necessities such as silverware were forgotten, service was poor, and yet there was still an expectation of a substantial tip. Tips should reflect good service, not be treated as something customers owe regardless of the experience. While waiting for my corrected order, I witnessed multiple order issues involving other customers as well. The entire experience felt disorganized, dismissive, and disrespectful. The one bright spot in this situation was another employee who stepped in and helped resolve the issue. She was kind, professional, and treated me with the respect and courtesy that should have been shown from the beginning. I genuinely appreciate her efforts to make things right. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, and correcting the issue efficiently, I was met with delays, excuses, dismissal, and an argument. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had in a long time, and it has seriously made me reconsider returning. read more

And the last two times they have tried to scam us by adding in a 20% tip when there was only 3 of us eating the first time and this last time there was only 4 of us. It says 20% gratuity for 5 people or more, we were not 5. I mentioned it to the girl up front taking payment and she said it's done automatically. No it is not. They manually changed it from 5 to 4 on the new receipt they handled me. Be aware of these scammers. Read your receipt all the way. Stopped by for Sunday brunch and could get a table within 10 minutes. Excellent lavender latte as well as the Turkish coffee. I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and a side of the stuffed French toast - highly recommend the stuffed French toast. It was not too sweet or creamy, just perfect! My husband got the Fiesta skillet and it came with a lot of veggies and very flavorful chorizo. Today is Sunday, had a pretty disappointing experience with Egg cited. We ordered Belgium Pecan waffle, with side of sausage, Denver Omelet with hashbrowns. Its busy, expected to wait. All our entrees came out cold. The Omelet was slightly warm in the center. The Belgium waffle was spongy, not crisp and resembled a child size portion (much smaller then last time i was here). They asked me at the checkout how everything was. I said everything was cold. She asked me a little puzzled, is that a bad thing (that it was cold)???? Pretty solid brunch/breakfast spot here in Naperville! We went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Even then, we got seated super quickly. They have a large menu with so many options to choose from. I wanted to be a bit more on the healthier side so I got the avocado toast. In the first look as we entered, it seemed like a Diner to us. But when we went in and got seated, we saw that they have good decor. Service: the service was very fast based on the amount of guests sitting in this restaurant. Food: A server came to us within minutes of us sitting to ask for coffee and gave the menus. We took few minutes to order food but as we ordered, we got the food in about 5 mins. We ordered a vegetarian panini and a veggie Skillet with Pancakes. The server was very quick and when we asked for the recommendations while placing the order, she said everything is good and really didn't give any recommendations. Anyhow, when we got the food, it was super hot and tasty. Since we were asking our server which preparation is spicy, she got us hot sauces on her own when she brought our food. We enjoyed eating everything. Restrooms: They have separate restrooms for men and women and they were very clean. They have a sanitizer stand right outside the restrooms. Its is a busy place even on Friday morning for breakfast. had no wait time. ambiance- is normal. looks more like a diner but have good paintings for decor. it is handicap friendly place. the aisle are widely spaced and you maintain good distance between the tables. the place was not at all noisy. food- we got coffee pretty quickly and server was serving hot coffee. a lot of eggetarian and vegetarian options. they were easy to modify the dishes. since we were asking for jalapeños in our food, our server got us hot sauce without even asking. I mean, it's breakfast how difficult can this be? Thankfully enough this breakfast experience was just almost just fine. The sever kept my coffee cup filled and for that I am thankful. My order came with a side of pancakes which when she brought out my entree she mentioned that she was going right back for the pancakes and would be back in a moment. This moment was more than a moment. This moment I was able to measure by having almost finished my omelet before the side of pancakes was brought out. Was this a huge deal? No, but apparently enough for me to mention. When paying at the front the host had chimed in as I was filling in the tip amount. He had said as I was reviewing the bill and calculating the tip that I wanted to leave, what 20 percent would be. Not sure why he felt obligated to say anything but he did. It may have been because it was so crowded and he wanted me to fill it in and get out. I needed a moment to do some calculations and certainly didn't need his input. If 10 seconds had gone by maybe. I ended up deciding on a skillet, which had both potatoes and eggs. Other people had chosen chocolate crepes, a grilled cheese sandwich, an omelet, and stuffed french toast. All of the items we chose were delicious and the portion sizes were quite generous - we had quite a bit of food left over even though we were ravenous when we entered. I thought that my skillet could use some more flavoring and noticed that the potatoes were hashbrowns underneath instead of diced potato, which made it a little harder to eat; but, it was satisfying enough. This place changed owners a few years ago but kept the super fast service and excellent breakfasts. For brunch or lunch they have a fantastic whole avocado stuffed with albacore tuna salad, served with fruit salad and a slice of banana bread. It's enough for two and always fresh. read more
