After a couple more visits, I walk over after dropping my car off at Ogden Motorcar, I've enjoyed my breakfast choices. Great waffle and the Avocado Toast with Million Dollar Bacon is definitely enjoyable. Parking lot is not as crowded with the Amazon grocery store closing in February. You get great prompt service sitting at the bar, and I don't feel guilty hanging out waiting for the call my car is ready. Their fall menu is coming to an end on 10/26 and I am looking forward to seeing the winter menu. I do have a location near home, which I have also enjoyed in the past. They do offer alfresco dining and are fall weather lately warrants a visit. Always a bright spotless dining room to great you. Prices are inline with the quality and quantity of food you receive. We love First Watch for a slightly nicer brunch! Very Chip and Joanna Gaines vibes in the best way. It's a little more upscale than your typical diner brunch with classic favorites but also an elevated menu with a delicious eggs Benedict and avocado toast. I love their giant muffins as a tasty add on!! They also do awesome juices with vitamin boosts, the one thing missing here is that they do not have an espresso bar so no lattes, which is a bummer for us. A party of four went to the location at 12:30pm for brunch. While the location does not take reservations, you can check yourself in on their website to be on a guestlist if needed. When we arrived we sat pretty fast. The crowed kept growing once we sat. We were greeted with our server asking if we would like coffee of any other drink. They offer alcoholic beverages as well. Nice perk of coffee, they will leave you a whole kettle at the table. The food came out pretty fast and we never felt rushed. I ordered the Chickichanga. It was cooked well. I go here all the time with my family and they're incredibly efficient. We didn't make a reservation and was seated in 15 minutes despite how busy they were. If I had to describe this place in one word it would be efficient. The food comes out quickly and we were able to pay with a QR code from our seating while we were finishing up our drinks. If the holiday menu is still around, I highly recommend the Red Medicine drink. My dish, the Chickichanga is what I always get. My sister, who got the waffles said they have the same aftertaste as Eggo Waffles in a bad way. I loved how open the place was and it didn't get too loud. I took my Godson to First Watch for breakfast this morning. The restaurant is large with tables and booths and also a bar area. They don't take reservations, but you can check in online. Our server greeted us but never introduced herself. As a past server, I think that's important. A coffee pot and water carafe are put at the table, which is nice that you don't have to ask for refills. I chose this restaurant because it is on the Weight Watchers app so I thought I would find a lot of healthy low point options that fit into my plan. Most everything I wanted was more points than I was willing to spend. I get 23 points for the whole day so there were only a couple 8 point options and one 3 point option. The avocado toast on the "healthier side" menu is 12 points, the superfoods bowl is 18, steel cut oats is 8, power wrap is 12. Not very healthy even though it's on the healthy part of the menu as WW points equate to fat, carbs, sugar and calories. I ended up ordering the turkey egg white omelette from the "healthier side" since it was the only breakfast less than 8 points. I had a slice of sourdough bread and fresh fruit on the side instead of potatoes. I was disappointed with the omelette as they used just turkey lunchmeat. Ugh. The sourdough toast I requested as a substitution for the multigrain toast came out as light as if it was pulled out of the bag and placed on the plate. Once I picked it up, though, I could tell it was very lightly toasted. I was not a fan of the omelette for the lunchmeat ingredient or for the very lightly toasted sourdough. My Godson had the best looking Belgian waffle, though. He said it was very good. I probably won't go back to First Watch because of the lack of healthy options that would fit into my plan, but the food looks amazing, especially the egg sandwich and waffles. It's a popular restaurant so I would not not recommend it to you. It's just not for me being on Weight Watchers and eating healthier. read more

Good food and drinks. Husband said the coffee was good. I had a lavender lemonade cocktail that was quite good. Served with lots of ice and a lemon slice. Good size drink for the price too. We had a frittata rustica which was very good. I wish the eggs came with potatoes but they came with a rather boring side salad of just greens with very little spice or dressing. We added a side of potatoes and I enjoyed them. My husband felt they could use more flavor. We also got the biscuits. The butter and jam were amazing. I think this was the star of the meal. Our son had pancakes and a side of eggs. He said they were fine but not the best he's ever had. Pretty standard diner food. Decent prices. One thing is I joined the waitlist as we were driving there (around 11:15 on a Sunday morning) and it said the wait time was 40 to 55 minutes which almost made us reconsider but we decided to go anyway. We arrived about 15 minutes later and were immediately seated. Which is great but the online wait time probably keeps people away. The restaurant was clean and busy but very loud. I liked the open kitchen and it had a nice bar area but the noise would not be good for a quiet brunch. read more

I've seen locations of First Watch popping up around the area, but this is the first one I have had the occasion to visit. Early on a Monday morning, there were still a handful of diners coming in! Our waitress balanced things well, giving us time to peruse the menu but not vanishing. Two in the party got the pancakes, and they are HUGE, literally the biggest pancakes I have ever seen. Another friend got the chia seed power bowl, and I ordered the strawberry tres leches french toast, which wasn't nearly as sweet as you might expect but was quite delicious! I cleaned my plate. Don't forget their juice blends: two of us got the Morning Meditation, a blend of orange, ginger, turmeric, lemon and beet: warming, earthy and bright. Be aware that the seasonal juice may be a blend. When we asked about it the waitress said it was watermelon, so my friend's son ordered it...but then when we got the seasonal menu she noticed that it also contained pineapple juice, and he's allergic to that. (Gladly he hadn't drank any yet.) Overall, there are lots of appealing breakfast and brunch options here! read more

Today our service was not very good. The server was not friendly or upbeat. He wasn't rude. The corn on my chicken Avocado chop was as hard as a rock. I honestly thought I cracked my tooth. I ask for the salad to be remade without corn. Each time we needed our server it seemed like it was inconvenient to get his attention. He had my salad remade but it was now missing Avocado. I did not ask for it but it's in the name of the salad. I had to eat my salad with a spoon for a bit waiting to ask for a fork since mine was taken with the other salad. I had to wave him down to get a refill. No attention given but lowest tip that pops up is 20%. We still tipped him 20% which on a $40 bill was worth more than the service he gave. I am disappointed with this First Watch!! First of all I ordered an Elevated Egg Sandwich w potatoes-- that were ice cold and old as well not fresh as advertised and million dollar bacon. It came with OLD BACON probably from earlier in the morning and reheated . Looked disgusting! This was on my sandwich. The Sandwich should come with Mayo and there was none. They got the gluten free bread right, and the sliced avocados as well as the arugula with no dressing to accommodate my allergies. Then there was the side of million dollar bacon that should have been on my sandwich. The waiter Jose was cleaning the dining room and did not wash his hands before returning to the kitchen and getting my food. He did offer to take my meal back but I didn't have time for that. I took off the old bacon and replaced it with the million dollar one, asked for mayo which I added myself. Ate a couple potatoes but left them on the plate. The First Watch restaurant restaurants I have been to have excellent service and excellent food. This is waaaayyy below acceptable. A deservedly busy place. Mid morning Saturday completely rammed. We got the beeper and was given an accurate estimate as to when we'd be seated. Nice room! We ordered coffee, teas, frittata omelette, waffles, eggs and hash. All came out in a timely manner. Nice server. Looked nothing like picture on their website -- mixed greens (should be romaine), avocado bits (supposed to be slices) hard-boiled eggs bits (should be slices) bacon bits (should be larger pieces) tomato bits (should be at least larger diced) chicken (came with a diced up deli-sandwich slice of turkey and minimal bleu cheese crumbles.
