This place has good menu options and good service! Our server was very attentive even though we had a big party at our table. The biggest pro is that the coffee they serve you is actually hot, the way that it should be! My only complaint is that although the women's restroom looks clean and remodeled, the baby changing table is gross. Located in a strip mall, go to north side for ample parking. Exterior clean and inviting. My rave, the overall service was outstanding. Extremely professional and well executed. Breakfast fare. If I'm being completely honest I was a little underwhelmed by the food. The thing is the food looked wonderful on my plate, but once I began eating my meal let's just say it didn't taste as good as it looked. However, the service was great and my waiter was friendly and made sure he took care of my friend and I. We made no prior reservations and our wait for a table took about 10-15 minutes. The interior is clean and simple with a lot of open space between the tables, so I really enjoyed that. We both ordered the "Hey Ricky" omelette as well as the "Granny Apple Smith Crepe". The portions were really big but again unfortunately the taste wasn't there for me. I do plan on coming back sometime in the future to give it another try. Next time I think I'll order the waffles or pancakes I'll probably have better luck with those items. read more

Bennys is normally a very live, laugh, love breakfast spot. Paul Richards has eaten here many times with no complaints. However, today, Paul Richards was so looking forward to a delish plate of triple berry pancakes. Halfway through eating them, a dirty piece of lettuce was observed in the middle of the whipped cream and berries. Can you say barf in my scarf????? Absolutely ruined Paul Richard's appetite. I've never visited before, but I was in the area so I thought I would stop for a quick breakfast. The server was very nice. I want to start there. Overall, the food was just not good at all. I ordered a simple two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and bacon and toast. As soon as it was served, I could tell that everything was not good. The hashbrowns looked really dry like cotton. The bacon was overcooked. Not just crispy, but partially black. The toast was burned all around the edges. And the eggs were laced. That makes them tough to eat. Overall, it seems like they need help with their techniques. It feels like they didn't use any oil to cook the hashbrowns. And everything was flavorless. Maybe the lunch is better. Went here for breakfast on a Friday morning they were really busy. The restaurant is bright and airy! After a very short wait we were sat and our server was there quickly he took our drink order and came back and then took our order. I was so surprised on how fast our breakfast came. I have the Irish Man's Skillet he asked me if I want in made with corned beef hash or just chopped corned beef I chose that it also came with a side of bread or pancake I chose a biscuit with sausage gravy. My husband had a omelette that was really good also. The restaurant and staff were very friendly. I told one of the staff members that we were given gift certificates for them to use from someone. He remembered the friend who gave them to us, and even mentioned the great review that she gave them. I got there on a Saturday morning and there was quite a few people waiting to be seated. I asked if I could have a seat at the counter/bar area. That worked out great, no wait. I have been to Benny's place a few times for breakfast. Even though when we walk in, they are packed, we never have to wait a long time for our party of 4 with a baby. The hostess is always very nice and our service is always attentive and fast. They have specialty coffee, so you can get a white chocolate mocha or other "fancy" flavor that tickles your fancy. I usually just go for the traditional coffee because they have free refills and flavored cream. I have gotten their pancakes. They are fluffy, sweet, and yummy. The triple berry cakes are tart and very traditional. The most recent time I went to Benny's, I ordered the tuscany skillet. It was very delicious. The chicken sausage, tomatoes, and green peppers make a savory, yet light meal packed with flavor. The mozzarella cheese was not excessive, so it added a creamy, salty texture to the meal. I went here over the weekend and as expected, there was at least a half hour wait to get in. No biggie, as this is usually a good indicator that the food is good. I had country eggs Benedict. Fantastic. My wife had a Tuscany omelette, which she loved. The portion sizes were great and everything was cooked perfectly.
