I've been coming to 113 Main pretty much monthly for client meetings and it's our go-to spot because it's fast service, no reservations needed, and the prices are affordable. We usually sit at the bar but they have plenty of table seating as well. I'm pretty picky about my cocktails. That said, I actually enjoy their "lips like sugar" cocktail -- made with tangerine vodka, strawberry, lemon and guava. For a sweet drinker, it's the perfect combo. read more

We went in to have some lunch today. My brother and I each had the basic burger, fries and an iced tea. The first couple of bites tasted good but after that we realized that the burger wasn't juicy it was very greasy. The kicker was the bill $58 for 2 burgers and 2 iced teas. Second time there yesterday evening, first time was a couple months ago for the Santa brunch. I was with a large group of 15-20 and we had a reservation. I brought my parents here for a delayed Christmas dinner. They are from MN and notoriously picky eaters and don't like to go out of their comfort zone for food. They had the shrimp and scallop risotto and the steak risotto and commented to us and the waitress about how amazing the food was. No leftover overs at this table, everything was amazing from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for spot that falls between a sports bar and the Turf Room. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

Went there last weekend. Parking was a little challenging but we found a spot about a block away. Service was very good and the interior is very much like a lot of recent restaurants around the area. Open ceilings and concrete floors. The food was outstanding. Appetizers were brisket egg rolls and a peach balsamic flatbread both which were delicious. I got the 311 burger and it was good enough to come back for. Their burger grind was very flavorful, as good as Jackson Avenue Pub in Naperville which is what I generally use as a comparison. Has anyone ever dealt with the owner of 113 Main in Oswego? Went in to pick up my order yesterday and no one was around. Went to the bar, thinking maybe my order is there. Was ignored by 2 employees. I sent them a message to make them aware of what happened. One of the partners (Mike Mann) messaged me back and asked what time I was in so he could check his cameras. A few minutes later I got a message back and he's calling me a liar, and stating he has better things to do and will not be returning any more messages so I "Shouldn't bother to respond." Prices are high, but we like the food so we continued to go. Until now. I guess we are not expected to complain when something isn't right. He lost us. We won't be back, but honestly, I don't think he cares. Now I need to know where to get some good Chicken Bao Buns! Anyone? read more

Great service and good food. We ended up here on a whim and I'm happy we decided to stop here.

My husband and I went to 113 Main anticipating it to be a little more upscale than it really was. We were celebrating our anniversary and kind of thought this was a little more high-end. The decor appeared to be a little but then it had no windows along the front but black shades and then when you entered there is this beautiful tree and it seems a little more family friendly than upscale. The service was average but what we can't stop talking about is the salmon dish. The waitress informed us they had just updated the menu and adding the salmon dish was the best decision, it had such great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The appetizer that we shared was the peach flatbread and again kicker, it was amazing. I had ordered the chicken pot pie and it was lacking flavor but was good. When we go back we will be going back for the flatbread and that salmon! read more

Food = really good !!!!! Poutine was fantastic flavors! Only negative I had was from the "Totchos" bacon was like very very crispy. I felt like I could have used them in masonry. Service = very attentive! No negatives here Ambiance = felt new and hipster. If it was not for the coronation of some congressman and the brown-nosing going on it would have been perfect. NOW... why only 3 stars do you ask? Please see the picture of the receipt. But also, this place was not hipster enough, in my opinion, to charge $10 for a $3 beer at binnys. And $20 per appetizer. The fact that it's this grossly overpriced (probably why the congressman was there) is the reason I will not return. The ratio of taste to price is wrong. Just be prepared to spend $$$$. read more

Nice downtown place. Went here with a coworker on a Sunday night. They have street and parking behind the place. The service was good. The food was decent. I had a chicken sandwich with truffle fries. I felt the truffle fries needed more truffle oil on them. For the up charge I would like to be able to taste the truffle part. The sandwich was big almost the size of the plate. Needed a little more sauce but had a nice flavor to it. My coworker had the tacos said they were nothing special but needed some sauce on them. When going into the restaurant, you were offered. Both a brunch menu and the regular lunch mended up. Getting the chicken shawarma, which was delicious, and the portion was a great size. It comes with the option of froes, slaw, truffle fries, or sweet potato fries. Specials going on would be the unlimited mimosas for 22 dollars, which you can never go wrong with on top of other drinks that they have at the pool bar. This place is great for a get-together. We went here 2 years ago for a poutine dish, and a chicken platter dish. The service was good, nice ambience, However, the ingredients that they use are terrible. For the poutine they used shredded meat included with it (Poutine is only fries, cheese curds, and gravy) and it was nasty. They prepare their food in a odd way that doesn't make much sense "fresh" wise. My mother did not like her chicken as well and said it was dry and tasteless. A lot could have changed since then, But it was a mediocre meal at best, Oh and they're very expensive. More quality is needed for such steep pricing. read more

Love this place! We are residents of Oswego so we have been to 113 main many times. We've never had a bad meal here! The salads are amazing. Peach flat bread is so good. The food was great! I had the Prime Rib Philly, it was so good. The old fashion was fabulous! Smooth and tasty! Adam, our server was great, he looks like Keanu Reeves, kinda funny. Stopped by for a very early dinner and had a lovely time. We had the Reuben egg roll special (for March), a burger, and the chicken fingers with regular and truffle fries. Everything was delicious, filling, hot, and fresh. Service was great--everyone is very friendly and helpful but they don't hover or pester. Restaurant was clean and nice inside. Very nice location with a modern open vibe. Large bar, plenty of seating. Nice screened in windows on the street that gives you the feeling of being outside with a small barrier to keep you cool and bug free. The duck egg omelet has an awesome flavor profile. My husband and I came here for a drink after dinner on date night. We had been wanting to try this bar for awhile, but haven't had the time until recently.The decor is simple but clean and inviting. I like the string lighting. We sat at the bar since we weren't eating meals. The restaurant was only about a quarter full on a Saturday night, which is surprising since there aren't too many options in the downtown area. They had a delicious concoction of cocktail options with a variety of different alcohols depending on what you like. I got the Lips Like Sugar (vodka, strawberry, lemon, guava) and California Love (smirnoff watermelon mint, lemon, dragonfruit, prosecco). Both drinks were delicious if you like sweet cocktails. My husband got the old fashioned and thought it was pretty solid. While we weren't starving, the person sitting next to us raved about the nachos, so we decided to order some. We added pork for a little something extra. It was really tasty. Not the best nachos I've ever had, but still pretty good. The service was outstanding. Our bartender was very personable and chatted with us throughout the night without seeming to be too much. Everything came out promptly and was well done. The vibe was very welcoming. Prices are on par with restaurants in Naperville or some of the surrounding towns with more foot traffic in their downtown areas. My family and I stopped in for dinner mid week which meant that we did not have a long to wait. The ambiance of the restaurant is a little spartan for my taste with the exception of the lit up tree in the middle of the room as well as the whiskey barrel shelf by the host stand, I really like those elements. The service was fair but far from great. Although our waitress did not seem to have many tables we didn't seem to see her except to order and pay. The food was rather good, but definitely not something I'd write home about, just a Yelp review. For my meal, I had the jambalaya and would do it again at some point. We started with the bao tacos and I thought those were pretty good. I remember really enjoying 113 the first couple of times we went there but I didn't review it then. This place would be 5 stars if I were just rating based on my meal. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi sandwich, which was amazing, but I tasted my husband's steak tacos & they were pretty plain and nothing special, so that puts me at a 4 star rating. The blackened mahi mahi sandwich was just perfect - fish super moist, cooked to perfection with a nice blackened seasoning. The flavors didn't stop there though - they top it with a sweet grilled pineapple slice, crunchy slaw that put an Asian spin on the sandwich, fresh avocado slices giving a nice creamy texture, chipotle aioli giving more flavor & creaminess, and a few Fresno peppers to really spice it up. Whew, I think I covered all the wonderful toppings they added to the sandwich. This sandwich packs a punch of great flavors!!! I will definitely be getting this sandwich again. I also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant - exposed brick, giving it a gastropub type feel. Rating: We recently visited this restaurant and ordered a couple of burgers - one with a bun, one without. Both were a huge letdown. The burgers were to salty, and the patties were clearly frozen, lacking any real flavor. We took a bite, looked at each other, and immediately knew we'd be leaving sooner than expected. When the waitress came by we immediately asked for the bill, she didn't even ask if everything was all right, we literally had one bite and asked for the check. I would have been happy to discuss had she cared. Even the fries were underwhelming - bland and forgettable. The only redeeming part of the meal? The Coke, which was good, but sadly not enough to bring us back. Wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a decent burger experience. read more

We started with the 113 board which had a really yummy hummus & variety of pita, bread, salami, etc. My husband had the beef pot pie both times and loved it.
