Great establishment with a cool vibe. Super friendly, prompt and attentive staff. But let's cut to the chase. The poached pear salad with the marinated grilled chicken was top notch. The poached pears were exquisite. The fresh spinach and thin-sliced pears were the perfect bed (better than arugula would have been) and the crans, feta and crushed nuts were great for balance and texture. But let's talk about that chicken's agave marinade. It was zesty with a slight acidic citrus to balance the sweetness from the pear. The whole deal was delicious. And with the maple-dijon vinaigrette to top it off - well, that topped it off! My buddy got a Hippie Chic sandwich and he liked it very much too. I went here for mother's day. This was our first time here. Cute little place. We parked around the back and sat on the patio. Right out of the gate I was disappointed with slow service. There were two waitresses in our area and it was clear ours was not as serious about their job as the other. We waited long enough after being seated to start to wonder id we had been forgotten. Two other tables (seated after us by the other waitress) had been seated and got drinks before our someone came to our table. When I did get my water it had plastic wrap in it. The other waitress took it from us to get a new one. No sorry, nothing. Acted like nothing happened. Our waitress delivered the new one 10 solid minutes later. It was Not super busy at this time. Why so long? And again no acknowledgement of the plastic.. couldnt get myself to drink anything else with worry of contamination of the ice box. Order the california chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts. My mother had the smash burger. She seemed to enjoy it though both sandwiches were stacked super tall and mine had two huge thick red o ions on it. A bit overpowering but mine was good after that was removed. Brussel sprouts were significantly salty. Wasnt able to get through them. My mom got the fries and tho were standard. She also got a bloody mary. It was alright she seemed to enjoy it. An amazing time! First time here and we will definitely be coming back as the food was amazing but the drinks.. holy moly, those were outstanding! Got to try 11 of them and each one was smooth and it was like drinking juices. All of them had great flavor and some had fun unique twists. To start out with, they had a busy night, between Frank Senatra night where their live entertainment was great, it was also homecoming, so the place was packed, which wasnt a bother as they also have quieter outdoor seating (just have to watch out for the bugs! ) The food came out in droves as one of our guys at the table decided to go down the list and order one of each of the appetizers, (note: we were only a table of 5) all of which were pretty great. My favorite probably was the salmon bruchetta followed up by the seasonal burrata! However, some of the guys devoured the chips & goods while the wings dissappeared so fast. Killing most of the appetizers, we moved onto the main course. I got the apple brie flatbread which was really good and sweet. The carmalized onions paired with the melty bri and fresh apples very well. While another friend ended up woth their watermelon feta salad which was pretty decent. ...time to update! I popped by for lunch for my first solo postpartum outing. I ordered a gin & tonic, the chicken Caesar salad, and the bread pudding to follow. The bartender had my drink up quickly, and it was exactly what I expected. Good kick of gin but not obnoxiously boozy. It was a very good accompaniment to my meal. The chicken Caesar salad... well, this was weeks ago and I've been craving it since! The chicken was especially tasty. I feel like most places kind of phone it in on the chicken for a Caesar salad, but that wasn't the case here. All of the elements tasted fresh and the amount of dressing was sensible. It did take longer to come out than I expected, especially since there was nobody else dining in, but I am glad for it because it gave me more time to enjoy my drink and book. I took my dessert to go because it took a while for the server to check back in on me and I was ready to leave by the time she did. No fault of hers--a handful of regulars came in and it seemed as though they were used to chatting with her. I also wasn't really in a rush when I got there, so I can hardly blame her for the slow pace I set! Still, I'd probably have gotten another drink and enjoyed my dessert there if she'd come over sooner; I didn't want to flag her down, though, if she was busy with her regulars. The bread pudding was a letdown because it had raisins in it and didn't specify that on the menu (or if it did, I missed it). I know raisins are commonly added to bread pudding but I was excited about this one because I thought it didn't have raisins. It wasn't awful; I still had a few bites, but I just didn't care for it. It was a little bland, too. I'm upgrading my review by a star because my experience dining in was much better than takeout. read more

Disappointed that they told me the sides that came with my meal were not GF safe but they could substitute a side salad....And then when my bill came, I saw they charged me five dollars for that side salad. There was also a four dollar charge for toast that was a substitute for my hamburger bun. My husband ordered a whiskey. He desperate on ice and they charged him an additional two dollars for ice! It's not a 2 star but doesn't fully deserve 3. I did come on a holiday, so not sure if it was due to short staffing. We sat on the patio and felt completely ignored. Food took about 45 mins to get to us. Even then, the food was just okay and it wasn't hot. On the brighter side, the espresso martini was delicious, but it lacked any alcohol flavor. Despite feeling ignored, our server was very kind and acknowledged our wait. I just wish we had more check ins to make us feel more like guests. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has good ambiance, but don't let it pull you in. It is also way overpriced for the quality and service. read more

This is my third time here, and although I thought that I rated this before, I had not. The ambiance and decor is really nice. They had a one man band, literally, playing. He was excellent! He was not too loud and had a pretty impressive selection of various genres. He had a good voice and 3 instruments that he played well! He was entertaining. We got seated pretty quickly considering the lack of reservations and a party that had reserved a pretty large section. They were busy so I was pretty pleased that our waitress wasn't too overwhelmed. She was rather timely. The drinks which were the proprietor and the s'mores old-fashioned were pretty tasty. The corned beef sliders were flavorful although not what I expected from the description. I think that they may have been toned down for more palates. You don't get the horseradish punch, the sour kraut is not very potent, and the corned beef is more beefy; yet they had good flavor and seasoning. Now I had the horseradish encrusted sea bass. I will rave about this. I would take this over a lobster! The mashed potatoes were okay, and the asparagus wasn't much actually a bit puny and over done. However that fish made the whole plate! The other entree was a ribeye special, and it was huge but so fatty. Yes. I get marbling, but usually the fat is edible. This was not so. It tasted good, but just not a lot of meat to fat ratio. The mushroom risotto however was really some of the best that I have had. I'm really not a fan of mushrooms, but this was so creamy that it was worth it. The broccoli need some attention as far as seasoning and a little more on the cooking time. It was hard. I took a key lime pie home and a bread pudding. The bread pudding was really dense. I'm glad I took the ice cream. It was good. I just usually think of it as more creamy with a sauce. The pie has no room tonight. She finished all her food there! So overall a great night. They just need to put attention into all the details, especially the veggies! I am sure there will be another visit! read more

Full when we arrived, drinks from the bar took a very long time, Sprite and Coke were warm and flat and the bartender tried to sell a Coke Zero that was pure soda water (clear). Waited a long time for our server between visits and had to grab someone else to get our water refills. Took order, specials on a sheet that I saw as she was gathering menus (never mentioned them in her intro) and sea bass caught my eye. Food came out - grouper special was overly battered, served with wrong side, very greasy and not completely cooked inside. For the $40(! No price on sheet and she didn't share, as noted above) Sea Bass special - pasta swimming in oil with hardly any flavor and sea bass was uncooked inside. Pot roast dinner and steak sandwiches were spiced oddly and disliked by diners. We shared the fish issues with server and she kindly took off one of the grouper dishes but the "chef said the sea bass is supposed to look like that". No, it's not. Not the server's fault of course, but overall sentiment for the entire experience of very slow service, issues with the food and given how small the space, number of staff and price point, this should not have been our experience. read more

Finally checked this place out! And I'm so glad we did. Stopped in for a few cocktails on Valentine's Day and the entire vibe in the place is awesome. From walking in the door, walking down the long hallway entering into the main dining/bar area, you get an old fashion, glam cocktail party aesthetic! The music was great (90's-2000's) hits. Once seated at the bar; we were greeted by Stacy, who was very pleasant and funny! I was going to order from the "Liquid Assets" menu, but my Guy showed me the "Jack Dawson", a special from their February menu and it did not disappoint! Admittedly, I've never had a cocktail that's been stirred before, so it was really neat to watch as she prepared the cocktail! It was DELISH, and since it's only available (so far) in February, looks like I'll be back soon! We didn't try the food but will be sure to try it upon next visit! I arrived at the Vault for the very first time with a friend of mine. They did not hear us coming so we waited for about four minutes before I stepped in and waved at the bartender if we can sit. We had ordered artichoke dip for an appetizer, which was great my friend had the onionsoup which was sweet tasting and not enough onions. It was overpowered by bread and cheese. She doesn't recommend it at all. I had the chili and it was good. Then we had the chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and cooked spinach. We shared that meal. The plate was too oily. The chicken wasn't a game changer for me and for my friend. The potatoes were too soggy. There were leftovers potatoes from the night before. The mashed potatoes weren't fresh. The server was great. My spouse enjoyed the Mimosa flight and I really liked the Proprietor Smoked Old Fashioned. The ambiance has un upscale vibe with a great bar. The service was good with an attentive bartender and the food was delicious. The menus lite up when opened, which in a low lighting restaurant/bar, is much appreciated! Stopped here on the way from picking up furniture in the area. The parking is in the back,as well as entrance . Walking in, the space is not large, but nice intimate size . The first thing I noticed was the beautiful bar. There was also an open glass area upon entrance where you can see a vault in floor below, a cute touch for name of restaurant. It was a seat yourself restaurant, we had service very quickly . I ordered the most delicious martini , lemon cheesecake and omg best I've ever had and my hubby had an espresso one which he thought was tasty. My meal was the Waldorf salad on a croissant w fries. The salad was good, enjoyed it ,but the croissant seemed a bit stale, hard , was hoping for a bit of a more flaky texture. This could be due to it being toasted but I didn't eat it all, but did eat salad within. The fries were crispy . I'd definitely go back to try another entree but most definitely for that martini read more

Decided to try this place with my husband on a Wednesday night. We were impressed! Nicely decorated and the service was wonderful. They had a special for half-price glasses of wine. I enjoyed the Malbec and would order it again. We started with a delicious appetizer, Panko Breaded Lasagna. Crispy triangles stuffed with ricotta, a tasty marinara dipping sauce, and burrata ball in the middle. I had the Vault Chop Salad with chicken and my husband had the Julio Caesar Chicken Sandwich. Our entrées were good, but the dessert was the star of the show! OMG THE CARROT CAKE. Absolutely delicious and big, perfect for sharing! To start off the Ambiance is great and really the only thing worth going there for. 5 stars for that. The service was weak with multiple mistakes from our waiter from missing drinks to missing proteins that were added to a pasta dish. The waiter was also not very familiar with the menu. The menu does not have a flow or vision, it's kinda goes everywhere. But the execution on the dishes is even worse than the design. One person at our table ordered the Chilean sea bass and it came to the table undercooked. I ordered the Bolognese on a mafaldine pasta that was horrendous. The Bolognese was watery and the pasta was overcooked and broken into pieces, none of which was longer than 3 inches. (Mafaldine is a ribbon pasta.) Worst yet was the fact that there were broken pieces of linguine pasta also in my dish. The food is much worse than Olive Garden and much more expensive. A complete letdown after walking in and being very impressed by the ambience. To summarize, go there for a drink and maybe a dessert, but stay away from the meals and you may like it, or just go to the other nearby places after your drink. VERY MIXED EMOTIONS the overall experience was great. Amazing food,amazing vibes, and some funny people next to us. HOWEVER our waitress was a different story. Not only was she rude but she blatantly ignored and didn't give me my fucking change. Not even an introduction and talked a total of three words. First of all, it's SO CUTE in there. Drinks are amazing; I've tried half the drink menu and love them all. (The Proprietor is the best.) Menu has a lot of interesting choices; the meatball sliders may not jump out at you, but try them...perfect taste in tender little balls. 1. The food portions were huge for what you paid the quality and taste was above what restaurants are serving nowadays. 2. Our server/bartender Stacey was awesome and very friendly. 3. The restaurant itself has a really nice vibe and relaxing atmosphere. Mostly high top tables with an awesome bar as a centerpiece to the room. 4. My wife had the chicken salad on croissant served with french fries. Everything was tasty but for chicken salad it was lacking a sufficient amount of chicken. I had the prime rib sandwich with french fries. The portions are huge and the sandwich was awesome however prime rib tends to be Fatty and I feel they needed to trim the fat off Before making the sandwich. A nice touch for the prime rib sandwich would be to give you a little extra side of the horseradish sauce. I also had a bowl of the chicken gumbo soup that chicken gumbo hands-down was the best I have ever had. 5. The cocktails here are awesome. They don't skimp on the alcohol or the size and our very reasonably priced. 6. All in all my wife and I are looking forward to trying this restaurant another time, the quality of food, the portion size and the price point is excellent. 7.
