met for a couple drinks with some friends on a Sunday night. the drinks were good, but a little pricey for Oswego. my friend and ii got the old fashioned. a tad on the sweet side, bit delicious nonetheless. wives got the miss armstrong (it's not on the menu), and enjoyed it. I tried a bit and liked it as well. minty, but not overpowering. it's definitely worth a visit if you're in downtown Oswego. didn't have any food, so can't comment on that. read more

The food was very good. Personally I only went for the pork belly steamed buns which exceeded my expectations. Service was great, even management was kind enough to bring out our food and it was piping hot just the way I like it. It was also very clean which is a must for me. read more

Will go again sometime but for our first visit we didn't feel good vibes. It was a Sunday lunch time visit after a little shopping. No paper menus available (they were out of them.) instructed us to just scan the code and read on our phones. Just not my thing. I like to peruse the full menu for any first visit to any restaurant. Crowd was very light which we found intriguing as we had heard great things hence our visit. Perhaps dinner is the better time to stop in. Decor is nice, but really high ceilings and nothing warm and inviting for our age bracket and price point. Shrimp and Grits were ordered and flavorful but the grits were "tight" meaning they probably got a little cold. Salad choices were not as I had hoped in a chopped salad. I've been wanting to try this place and I'm glad I did. The ambience is so nice. The customer service was great our waiter was nice, informative, and very attentive. Everything that we ordered from the menu was divine especially my shrimp and scallop risotto. We also did the brisket eggrolls and the fries everything was literally so good. The owner came and checked on us and introduced himself he was very nice and down to earth unlike most owners. I'm a very picky eater so if I enjoyed everything so will you. read more

This is a great addition to downtown Oswego! 113 is a perfect spot for a happy hour, light appetizers, a light meal or a heavy entree. I've been several times and have been impressed with the food, service and atmosphere every time. Bar service is fast and drinks are made well. The owners are also great! I approached them for a charity donation and they responded quickly and had it ready for me when I arrived. Docking a star for just several small reasons: parking! It's out of their control, but parking is so difficult here. And, the hours! This is a nice bar, and would be a great option to stay open later for drinks. On a Saturday night, they were closing already at 10pm (as in, get out the door by 10pm, no time to finish your drink). read more

Pretty cool open air screened in bar area and gastropub atmosphere. No views of the river unfortunately. I got the skirt steak tacos and wasn't too impressed. I held the cilantro and didn't realize without this, it was just a meat and sauce flavor and pretty bland. They could really use some arugula or lemongrass flavor to brighten it up. I wouldn't get any of the tacos again. My wife got the Mahi sandwich and she loved it. For me, the pineapple, peppers, and sauce was a bit much and I didn't care for that flavor profile. I might be interested in getting this if it was a more basic sandwich with just some fresh greens and aoili on it. I think if i came back I'd get the ahi tuna salad. 5oz of fish with fresh greens sounds like the way to go. read more

First time trying this spot and I was not disappointed!!! Ignore the bad reviews. Tried out a bourbon burger and chicken sandwich with calamari for an appetizer. Everything was delicious and I mean really good! Finally a molten lava cake for desert. Leaving happy and full. Large inside, great for small family or brunch with friends. We decided to try this place out after being extremely impressed by the menu, so we ordered curbside pickup 1/30/21. Although I cannot speak on what the inside of the restaurant looks like since we did curbside, the ease of ordering on the website and receiving our order without having to go inside was seamless. I also appreciate that there's the option to pay in cash as well online! As for the food, I am amazed. We ordered the mussels for an appetizer and the serving size was incredible for the price! The 113 Burger was absolutely delicious as well as the ribeye. We all upgraded our fries to the truffle fries and I cannot recommended them enough. We'll definitely be ordering from here again and try it the other items on the menu! This is exactly what Downtown Oswego needs. I cannot wait to dine inside and try some of the drinks once everything returns to normal! read more

Not a lot of options in the Oswego area for this kind of pub grub. Nice beer selection a good drink list. Great old-fashioned! Our first fave here was the roasted brussels sprouts. We have them as a starter. Burgers are good, as is the wedge salad. The only gripe is the wait time, but I guess that figures -- good place, good food, you're gonna draw a crowd... TIP: They open up a wall of windows in the good weather! read more

The staff here is absolutely amazing and very attentive to whatever you need. Adam did an outstanding job and should get a bonus. He went out of his way to make our supper the best with his excellent recommendations. I highly recommend the Smoked Manhattan. We stopped here with a few family members and were blown away! From start to finish, the staff was courteous, respectful, and put a high premium on safety measures and cleanliness. Ordered the carne asada. Came with 4 small street tacos $14.50. Flavor was good but had a few pieces of meat with grizzle. Rice and beans were extra at a cost of $5.00!!! I shared the beans and rice. 113 tacos were regular size tortillas (3). Good flavor on those also but found a bone in one. read more

We went to this restaurant and have always had good experiences in the past. This place is not known for being reasonably priced, but we typically come in for the atmosphere. On the good side, the poutine was delicious. The steak medallions were good, but this is the first time that we've had Inadequate service. Our server was Justin. He technically took our order, but we had to work hard to wave him down for water as well as purchasing expensive drinks. His homebase was the bar, where he could be on his cell phone. The restaurant was not even exceptionally busy. I don't think this is typically representative of the restaurant, as a younger female assisting with the waterwith brown curly hair was actually quite personable. Sadly, she was not our waiter. Asking Justin for things seem to be a true bother to him. Then when it came time to pay our bill, we were not presented with an itemized bill, just a total and he "helped us" by putting himself in for a 25% gratuity. He had the skills capable of being a waiter, it was just pretty clear he did not want to deal with people, which is a significant requirement for service people. Again, we must give credit to the young female who was 20 times more personable than Justin, our contacts with her were limited. We hope this serviceimproves as we want to see the restaurant flourish. read more

We came at 7 on a Saturday and were seated right away. The steamed buns appetizer was delicious. We got the Sirloin tip & Salmon special. Both entrees were flavorful. Their tiramisu was disappointing, mostly cream. They have a small drink menu especially with their wine. 113 main charges a 3% fee if you pay with a credit card. We liked the atmosphere and entrees. This place was at the top of the results page when looking for a Plainfield/Oswego girls brunch. It was very spacious and simply decorated when we walked in. Our waiter was very nice and kept the bottomless mimosas we ordered flowing (so worth the $22!). The benedict brunch plate my friend got looked really good and the duck egg omelet was average. I didn't know grits came as a default side and I wish I switched to a side of fruit since I didn't touch the grits. Especially if you're looking for a nice, open space and bottomless mimosas on a chill Sunday, give this place a shot. read more

Even with a packed dining room, the wait is never very long. They have a nice variety of seating (bar, high tops, booths, regular tables) Love the giant garage doors when they're open and that they still have screens so bugs don't bug you (pun intended). The menu is short and sweet. Lots of options and even the drink menu is great. read more

Idk server Friday night seemed a bit out of it. Took a long time to approach table, brought one drink . .asked for half and half tea. Got a water with lemon and apparently after I said it tastes funny he said I put a squirt of simple sugar in it . .? Was that the tea? Who does that?? Then drinks came , and over the course of about 15 minutes our waters came all had different glasses, and all came one at a time!! Really weird. 2 of us left food on our plates. If you see that happening a lot, may want to talk to chef? Steak salad had 5 pieces of thin steak each about 3 inches long and several pieces had so much wet fat, it had to be spit out. Not joking! Salad had a few pieces of this and that, but for 18.50, was terribly disappointed! Drinks were $ 14 a piece and when we joked and said we shouldn't, one wouldn't be enough, he replied that they are not strong, you will be ok . .it's half juice. So $14 for a weak drink. Asked to have tea removed from our bill. Gave me a total of over 25, asked if tea was taken off he said yes then , said $20. Just an over all weird dining experience. Wasn't a full restaurant but our guess is not enough staff. Just a few things that should be addressed. read more

Very disappointing. Second time in. Thought I would give them a second chance. It's was not good again I made reservations and asked for a booth. They' sat us by the bathroom. We asked to be moved and they wanted us to sit at a regular table, when there where other booths available. They acted like they did not know what to do. So we asked to be seated at a high top in the bar. The hostess had to ask the manager if it was ok. Then to top it off, My girlfriends meal came out 7 minutes before my meal and my meal was burnt to a crisp (see the photos). By that point I had enough I won't return to 113 Main !!!!! Since this was a pick up order, we didn't discover how undercooked it was until we got home.
