Came into Maple Butter Cafe on a busy Sunday early afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with getting seated under 7 minutes. We had mango and orange mimosas that were great and an omelette and specialty chorizo skillet that was delicious! We even got to talk with the owner, Jimmy who is just a great human being. read more

Fathers Day @ 7:30 am. Nice looking place. Very clean. Either they didn't know it was Father's Day, or they didn't expect such an early crowd...but they had only one waitress, and the place was packed. Service was pretty good all things considered, but tables were continually being seated, and you could see they weren't getting served as well. Additional waitresses arrived around 8:00, and things seemed to get better. Owners (I'm assuming) stepped up to the plate, and brought waters to the tables, filled coffees, and cleared plates. Waitress (Tracy) did a great job of keeping it together amidst a truly chaotic situation. Food was very good. Portions were big. Coffee was great. Menu advertised homemade maple butter (note it's the name of the restaurant) with griddle items (pancakes, waffles, etc)...didn't come with mine, so i used butter pats on table, which were hard and cold...not great for spreading on pancakes. Breakfast sandwich and home fries got a thumbs up from hubby. Overall, 4 stars. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Went with my daughter on a weekday late morning. Was semi-busy. Seemed that maybe they were short staffed because our waitress was flying around and working hard. But never checked in on us until nearly the end of meal. My daughter ordered the chicken & waffles. Tenders were good but waffles were very bland. I ordered the bacon-avocado omelette. Was supposed to come with a salsa but didn't. And again.. waitress didn't come until the end of our meal. So oh well, no salsa. Lastly, the biscuits & gravy were so-so. Gravy was not hot; and almost not even warm. Was excited to order them. But disappointing on arrival. Overall the food seemed just ok. We walked in as a large group of 10. They were able to seat us surprisingly quickly in 2 separate tables kids/adults despite it being a Saturday morning at 10 am. It was pretty busy. The server was amazing and very friendly. We told her we were in a rush between soccer games. As she was bringing our drink order the food came out- it was literally 5 minutes. We were well fed with delicious eggs Benedict, Denver omelette, waffle and pancakes. Server promptly brought the check. The owners/manager and bussers were quick to get our table ready and cleaned. My boss treated me to lunch for my 1 year work anniversary and all I could think about for a week was CREPES!!!! They did not disappoint! First, the restaurant was clean and organized. Great seating! You are not sitting on top of one another. This is important to me because I hate being in people's way when they need to move around, including the wait staff! The noise level during a weekday lunch was peaceful too. Staff was sweet and not pushy, just the right amount of attention to us. Food was prepared not only EXACTLY how we each wanted but was fast!!! The crepe I ordered...oh the CREPE!!!!!! YUMMMYYYY!!! Fruit crepe with glazed strawberries, bananas, pecans and a drizzle of cream cheese. Plus a side of the potatoes were plenty of what I wanted!!!
