I had a great experience ordering on ClassPass! The location is conveniently located and food was beautifully displayed and equally delicious. One downfall would be if the order could be made to pickup as expected, the location was exceptionally busy and I had to wait in line to order in person before the restaurant prepared the ClassPass order.
Pretty good crepes and pretty good value. We both had savory crepes. I had the turkey and pesto. My bride had the truffle and honey. Both were a little bit sweet. And the only downside was we could taste them for hours after. Maybe it was the sauce??
Came here on a Saturday at noon. Love all the plants and decor inside. We shared one sweet and one savory crepe which is the best way to experience both worlds. Didn't have to wait too long and a table opened right after we ordered. The lox crepe had a good amount of smoked salmon. I also really liked the capers and onions. The matcha crepe had so many strawberries! Both were very yummy and bigger than expected. My friend also got their banana bread latte which tasted just like its name. Very cute place to catch up with friends!
Super cute crepe cafe! Love the interior decor. I split the fromage a trois crepe with a friend, it was simple but flavorful and definitely hit the spot. I've also tried the matcha crepe here before and enjoyed that as well.
Aside from a few customers stopping in for matcha, I had The Crepe Shop to myself as I delighted in their Ham and Cheese version on a quiet Thursday morning. The crepes are large in size and packed with fillings: delicate ham slices mixed with fontina cheese and a Mornay sauce that oozes out with each bite. I really appreciated the ratio of ingredients with equal portions of crepe to meat to cheese in each forkful. It did lack a bit of flavor but Cholula always makes for an excellent accompaniment. I am not a huge crepe person - actually not sure of any spots in MN that I would seek out for a crepe - however, if you are in Lakeview and the "thinner pancake" hankering takes hold, I would recommend The Crepe Shop. Clean with friendly staff, I am sure this spot is busier on weekends.
The ambiance is incredible as The crepe shop has a screen free policy! The staff are friendly and service is quick-- but all 5 open cholula bottles had less than a teaspoon of sauce in each of them which was pretty icky. Nonetheless the crepes and big, packed full of fresh, delicious, well seasoned fillings. The Fromage a Trois and Turkey spinach were both winners. Bring your own hot sauce though ;)
Mom-Tested, Kid-Approved -- Our New Favorite! My son asked for crepes and I knew the perfect spot to take him!! This cozy little crepe shop and left us with full bellies and big smiles. Kids each got the Nutella, strawberry, and banana crepe -- pure dessert heaven. The turkey, cheese, and egg crepe was savory perfection. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. My kids were obsessed -- they declared this their favorite breakfast spot and begged to make it a weekly tradition. And honestly? I'm totally on board. It's rare to find a place that nails both sweet and savory, keeps the kids happy, and feels like a treat for me too. It was a nice vibe and super clean ! We ordered at the counter and food was brought to us. Great service ! If you're looking for a spot that hits the mark for the whole family, this is it. Total gem.
If you want crepes, you gotta add this spot to your Chicago bucket list. The crepes are so delicious and fluffy. Each bite was perfect and the decor inside is so cute. This is a great spot for a girls brunch
What a nice crepe shop! Quick and efficient service. Located in a very nice neighborhood. Walked in then placed our order then we got our crepes. They have water dispenser if you didn't try any drinks on their menu. Price is affordable and the crepes were all good. after you eat you put away your own dishes there is a rack in the back area to put them away. Chicago parking is horrible you find a street parking and don't forget to read the sign and pay for the space otherwise you will get fined.

The place could be in a glossy magazine add only your in it. What more can you ask for? Good crepes you say? Well they deliver on that too. All my previous reviews stand. Today I had the usual, honey truffle. Heaven on earth folks - Heaven on earth. Any questions ?

Nice cafe style. You order at the counter. He crepes were good. Soft and big. The drinks we got were okay. I got the strawberry matcha lemonade and it was meh. Needed a little more flavor. Only issue is that it was super slow. Took forever to get our order. read more
Delicious! Slightly sweet, fresh, perfect texture. The cashier recommended the Wild Berry cheesecake crepe as it was more traditional European style, did not disappoint. If you want a truly Parisian crepe, here it is. We were just in Paris and this restaurant brought back vivid memories through its brilliant flavors. The lemon curd crepe melts in your mouth and the turkey & spinach was superb. read more

We ordered butter me up sugar crepe and it tasted just like how it sounds. If you're not a fan of super sweet desserts, this might not be for you. However the texture and consistency were soft and fluffy. Server was friendly, and ambience was chill. Great place to hang out with your buddies or study. read more

The crepes were so warm and yummy and full!! We could not finish either of the crepes but enjoyed them thoroughly. The coffees are ok but the vibes are immaculate. So bright and so clean, I would definitely come back to just catch up with friends and bask in the skylight. read more

One of my favorite spots in the city! I come to The Crepe Shop often, and every visit is a delight. The staff here is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. If you're not sure what to order, I highly recommend the Wild Berry Cheesecake crepe with banana and fresh strawberries -- it's rich, flavorful, and absolutely beautiful on the plate. They also make an excellent affogato, which is a rare find in the US and a perfect treat for coffee lovers. The atmosphere is bright and cozy, filled with greenery and warm details, making it a great place to relax, read, or meet friends. I enjoy coming here usually but this time I would say the coffee wasn't as great as usual. The taste was there but the milk tasted more frothed than steamed, almost like a cappuccino! And even half sweet it felt overly sweet. I LOVE the vibes in here, how many plants they have, and that its screen-free and would come just for that. A cute little crepe shop in Lakeview. The restaurant is nicely decorated, has lots of seating available, and is self serve. There are savory and sweet crepes and a good number of drink options available. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant with a mocha. The mocha was great. The crepe was well done, but I found it overall to be a bit salty and boring in terms of flavor and texture. My friend ordered the pesto chicken crepe, which was great! Definitely would come back to try the sweet crepes. read more

Oh boy ! Plenty of crepes for all tastes here. Sweet or savory. I went with the Matcha Made in Heaven.....Marscipone, Matcha, pistachios. It was slightly sweet - not too much. And that was what made it so good. Lots of different lattes available - I just did drip coffee. THe room is very girly and pretty. Feels like you are inside someone's she-shed. Service was friendly. Happened to be in the neighborhood and realized I was hungry. Yelped what was nearby and found the Crepe Shop, which was an amazing find! Relatively inexpensive and such a nice ambiance. I ordered the Turkey Spinach crepe and thought it was really tasty and savory. The caramelized onions was really good. Definitely want to come back here and try more crepes!!! read more

I've been to this crepe shop many of times and it still is one of my favorite spots for crepes. The service is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the food is to die for! A resturant specializing in crepes. They have an abundance of different kinds from savory to sweet with teas coffees and natural juices. The service was good with patience for first timers like us.
