    Tomato Soup 12 Oz
    Dorothy S.

I ordered from Klein's for delivery on DoorDash and it arrived swiftly and well packaged. I ordered the "viral tomato soup and bagel" (which I'd actually never heard of before this lol). The tomato soup was delectable; I'd def order it again, creamy, had chunks of tomato. The bagel was fun, very flavorful w tons of garlic and seasoning. The bagel itself was fine, but I enjoyed all the seasoning on it. I'd get this again should the craving hit. I also had a toasted marshmallow latte that was tasty.

We saw this place online and I absolutely had to give it a try! Was not disappointed one bit... so much so that we went here on my birthday and I plan on coming back monthly haha that's how special it was. It's the kind of place that you want to share with all your friends and family. To make it even better, the owners/founds are Venezuelan, have to support mi Latino's. We order two bagels and a Venezuelan version of an empanada. Top tier, both dishes to die for. Loved everything from the service to a nice sunny great day. Top notch atmosphere all around! Looking forward to come back and thank you Klein's, I'll be seeing you soon. Personal Review: 9.2/10

Klein's Yule Log was beautiful and delicious, and fairly priced at $50.

I live just a block away from Klein's Bakery & Café. Although they've been open for years, it's not a place I visit often--I brew my own excellent coffee and we don't eat many sweets. That said, their blueberry muffins are outstanding and always a treat. When we have guests, I'll stop in to pick up a brownie or a few other pastries, and they're consistently delicious. This review is really about the Yule log I ordered to bring to my family's Christmas Day celebration. I appreciated how easy Klein's made the process: ordering and paying online was simple, and pickup on Christmas Eve was smooth and efficient. The cake was beautifully presented and well packaged. The vanilla sponge with mascarpone filling and chocolate icing was a winning combination. It was a delicious and special way to end our Christmas dinner. Thank you, Klein's!

Women owned! We love this! Artsy coffee shop with Venezuelan influence when it comes to both sweet and savory pastries. Counter service was super nice and pleasant. Prices were pretty standard for the area. Most of the time, when I walk by, there is a line out the door, so I was happy to walk by at an odd time! Space was clean and all menue items were labeled with item name and price.

Instant good vibes right when you walk in. Great assortment of pastries and food items and a good amount of seating. Great coffee, great service! Got the vanilla latte, was super sweet. I can't believe how good the pastries were (got spinach + feta for one and guava + cream cheese for the other). Could tell that the staff/servers cared and were proud of the assortment.

I came here specifically to try the stuffed bagel, which ended up being a little underwhelming for me. I ordered the stuffed bagel and tomato soup combo, and while the bagel was not bad, it did not really stand out to me. The tomato soup, however, really stood out. It had small chunks of tomato instead of being completely smooth, which I loved, and it was very well seasoned and satisfying. I also tried their bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich and wished the bacon had been laid out a bit flatter and more evenly across the bagel, and that the cheese had been melted more. There is not a lot of seating inside, so it is probably better suited for takeout.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. My friend got a cold coffee and said it was good. I got the blueberry hibiscus iced tea, which was grew. We also got the stuffed bagel, which we had higher hopes for based on all the tiktok hype. The service was great and the place was cozy with a couple tables. Seemed to be a good number of ppl with their laptops working there.

Loved this place! Got the stuffed bagel with cream cheese, garlic, & parsley. Was very yummy, need to go back and try the one with bacon because I'm sure it's even better. Nice ambiance in the cafe as well. Their bacon egg and cheese bagel (not pictured) is phenomenal with lots of crispy thick pieces of bacon. Got a hazelnut cortado that was delicious-- will def be back!

Got the bacon scallion cream cheese stuffed bagel. Best bagel I've ever had. Fluffy and soft the way it should be. Only critique would be it tastes like Italian seasoning and bacon, not really scallion but amazing flavor nonetheless. Only other time I've seen this has been online and they're all in LA. Nice to have it brought to Chicago!

First visit last Thursday. I was visiting Great Lakes and took the train into town to visit the Lincoln Park Zoo. Along my walk I found Klein's Bakery & Cafe so I decided this was a good place to take a break from my long walk. This is a beautiful little cafe with several tables inside. I just ordered an iced Latte and a chocolate chip cookie but they had several great looking pastries to try. The latte and chocolate chip cookie were both really tasty. The staff was nice and friendly. The cafe and restroom were nice and clean. This is a really nice cafe to visit and I will return next time I am in the area.

    Ham and Cheese Croissant

I pass this place everyday on my commute to and from work and finally decided to stop by. I wanted some breakfast but also a little sweet treat so I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and the lemon pound cake. Because the croissant sandwich was made fresh, I ate my pound cake first. I love lemony foods, and this did not disappoint. Once I got my croissant, it was also flakey and delicious, so I hope to be back again soon.

If you got 25 minutes to wait for them to take a break from yapping to put something in a cup it's great place to get a cold brew.

The bright aesethics of Mexican heritage and decor celebrating local artists make the space inspiring and energizing. The coffee was great. I got the horchata latte, which tasted even better than I hoped. I also ordered a El Chavo Torta, a deceptively simple sandwich that was incredibly delicious. I don't know what they put in the bread or what magical place they bought the cheese from, but my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

We got the pancakes, which come with a citrus butter and fresh berries. The pancakes were some of the best I've had, and the butter added a refreshing orange flavor that paired really well with them. The salmon sandwich was also great. The bread they make in house is delicious. Eggs in Purgatory, steak and eggs, and the American breakfast were also ordered. The tomatoes in the Eggs in Purgatory tasted very fresh. The steak was great, though a little salty, but the meal was very flavorful overall. And those potatoes?!! So good. The venue also has an art gallery, which was a nice surprise and a great way to walk around and enjoy some art while visiting. Overall, a great experience with good food, atmosphere, and service.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.

Service Issues:The service was inattentive throughout the meal, and concerns were not adequately addressed when brought to the staff's attention. Food Quality Issues:The food and cleanliness were equally disappointing. I requested extra crispy bacon in my omelet, but the bacon was undercooked and appeared raw. Both coffee cups also arrived dirty, with dried coffee residue inside, raising concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail.
