03/21/25 - One of my go to restaurants for their delicious breakfast sandwich. As usual I got the sandwich on an everything bagel toasted w/an egg, cheese & generous pile of bacon, bacon bacon (my favorite food (BACON). The sandwich was excellent as always. In addition they have a great assortment of pastry items (which I didn't order). Klein has 2 locations in Chicago the one I went to on the one I went to @ 4155 N Broadway & the other one @ 426 W Diversey Parkway. I've eaten @ both locations. They both have metered street parking. I prefer the one @ 4155 N Broadway as it's generally easier to find parking ther, but they both have the same delicious bacon, egg & cheese sammich. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS read more

I ordered a bacon egg cheese on a bagel this morning and I had to pick out the majority of the bacon since it was just fat. I paid 10$ for this sandwich and wasn't expecting to pick out almost all of the bacon. Definitely ask for crispy bacon! read more

I dig it. Klein's is right on the corner of Buena and Broadway. They are a great variety, with some hot items and standard bakery fare. I picked up a couple bagel sandwiches for breakfast, as well as a hot white chocolate and a caramel latte. The sausage sandwich was better than the bacon; unfortunately, most of the bacon was left uncooked (I do not know what the deal is with so many places not fully cooking their bacon) so next time I'd order a sausage one for myself. The hot white chocolate was good and it's nice to see something different for non-coffee drinkers now and again at a restaurant; usually I'm left to choose between water, tea, pop, or maybe juice. Oh! And I also got some tiramisu for dessert, which we had the next ray. It was so good. I like that they add some chocolate chips on the top; I enjoy the different textures. The iced coffee is always on point. I'm glad this place is walking distant from where I work. Their pastries are also yummy, I enjoy the spinach feta. Local bakery and coffee shop in Buena Park, can get expensive especially if you get a drink and sandwich but the sandwiches are definitely large, delicious and filling. Bagels are always fresh and filled with a lot of cream cheese. When the weather is great seating can be limited, with additional seating available outside during the summer. read more

Visiting my daughter in Chicago, and she mentioned I should stop here for my morning coffee while out walking. It is a pleasant setting with many choices on the menu board, but what caught my attention was the croissants sitting under a glass display on the counter. I really enjoyed this! The customer service was helpful and great. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel (photoed) and a caramel cold brew with oat milk. The BEC was huge, super filling, and really had a ton of flavor. I added some Valentina & it was *chefs kiss*. The coffee was sweet and strong - just what I needed. My friend got a ham & cheese on a croissant and said it was absolute fire. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the mood for a nice little breakfast/brunch treat. Tried this place like 3 times since I recently moved a few blocks down. What a disgusting experience. The first time I ordered their breakfast sandwich (bagel, egg, cheese, bacon) I thought it was just bad luck that I received a monstrosity of fatty protein on a stale everything bagel with nasty american cheese. SPOILER ALERT it was not bad luck. I decided to give them another chance and this place is really out here half cooking the fattiest bits of bacon, throwing it on bagels that must be sitting out for weeks, and then sealing it all with what must be kraft american cheese. Don't believe me? Check out the fatty masses we removed from our bagel sandwiches in the images. Absolutely vile. I'm all for supporting small businesses but even McNasties could serve something better. My question for kleins: how do you even manage to locate bacon cuts that are this fatty? It's like you had to purposely search for fatty bacon cuts. Not even bottom tier Oscar Mayer bacon has fatty cuts like that. At least cook it all the way. read more

Klein's is a great local bakery! They have amazing pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and lattes. All their workers are friendly and treat you like family whether you are new or a regular. This is a perfect place to meet someone for coffee or to pick up in a pinch. Some of my favorite orders are the bacon egg and cheese croissant, iced sugar-free vanilla latte, and the passionfruit tart. I thought I hadn't reviewed Klein's yet but I did! But I'm here again to say more. A cute Venezuelan neighborhood bakery, Klein's is a staple in Buena Park. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, it's cute on the inside, and they have fast wifi if you're in a pinch or feel like working from a cafe for the day. They have sweet and savory breakfast pastries, INCREDIBLE tres leches cake, and pretty good breakfast sandwiches. I've had a few negative experiences (wrong order, brought it back then wrong again lol, no breakfast sausage - bacon only, and they don't shake their iced lattes so you have to mix it yourself while it's really full and it gets everywhere, that irks me personally lol) but nobody's perfect, and none of those are a big enough deal to dock a star. If you're in the hood, stop in at Klein's for a coffee and a snack, you won't regret it. PS - THEY'RE DOG FRIENDLY. Like, you can bring your dog and hangout there. It's a charming neighborhood cafe and I get its appeal, but it needs to do things better. Some days you just want a coffee in a mug. This isn't an option at Klein's unfortunately, even though they have different sizes mugs. Drinking out of a paper cup makes me feel like I'm drinking coffee nowhere or anywhere... It almost might as well be in one of thousands of Starschmucks or MacDon't, but maybe that's me being a bit dramatic. Maybe it's a Covid thing that never changed after the vaccine came out and they're still doing things the disposable and pass-the-buck way. At least it wasn't styrofoam and the coffee itself was good and hot. The big puff pastry was 5 bucks, a good deal. It's a crumbly and crunchy square filled with whatever variety they have, maybe 7 inches per side. It's a decent snack or meal. Service was ok. Not great, not horrible. So yeah, I'd go back on my own accord if I were in the area, even though it's not perfect. read more

This is a very nice bakery with a good selection of pastries. The selections can be hit or miss. My apple pie was mediocre, but my caramel cheesecake was phenomenal. It was a delight every time I introduced it to my mouth. My daily stress just melted away while eating the cheesecake. In all fairness, this review is based only on the two pastries I tried. I had a friend from Puerto Rico who had the guava pastry and something else and she relatively gave the same feedback. One was delicious and the other was so so. I would love to have an unlimited supply of caramel cheesecakes from here. I would literally be in heaven! read more

Klein's is probably the most cost-effective place in the area to fuel yourself with coffee and whatever kind of pastry strikes your fancy at the moment. What it cost to get a latte and a spinach cream cheese pastry (which was massive by the way) was the same as the cost to get just a latte anywhere else. Was the pastry amazing? No, it could probably have used some more spices, but it was flaky and filling, and they have a ton of options for food that isn't just the typical coffee shop breakfast croissant or a muffin. There are bagels and cachitos and golfeados an and guava/cream cheese pastries. They have a whole display case of cakes and sweets too. I'll be back to try their other offerings. read more

Very cute & cozy interior. I ordered an iced caramel latte & it did not disappoint! I also tried a Golfeado for the first time & it was scrumptious. It tastes similar to a cinnamon roll but spicier (not actually spicy as in hot but spicy as in lots of spices). I tried my friend's tres leches too & that was probably the best tres leches I've ever had. I will definitely be returning to try more pastries! Do yourself a favor--skip the Starbucks and come here instead!! read more

They were very busy in the morning when my boyfriend and I came in. We ordered an iced white mocha, iced hazelnut latte, guava and cheese croissant and a ham and spinach croissant. I am a regular customer at this cafe, twice racial remarks were used against me. The first remark was I heard a male employee telling his co-workers look at that Chinese and I happened to be Japanese. The second remark was a lady cashier refered to me as Yellow to her co-workers as I was walking by. This is not a comfortable environment. Plenty of bacon but picked it all out because it was gross ( sorry). The egg and cheese in the sandwich was good. The coconut bread was dry, and crumbly with a bit of a bitter flavor. I've passed by this place at least a hundred times while walking my dog or stoping by the Library down the street. I have no solid reason for not trying them out until just recently. They popped up on Uber eats during a very busy and hectic morning for me and I chose to order a few things. They have by far the best iced hazelnut coffee I've ever had (it's not bitter nor is it too sweet). The also have puff pastries that are out of this world! I think they're a little over five dollars which seems steep but these are a lot more filling and larger than they seem in the images. By far my favorite though is their ham and cheese sandwich. It's such a simple item but so often when I order it all I taste is bread. The cheese on this sammy is so abundant and perfectly melted. You can also add an egg to it if you want some extra flavor but I tend to order it as is, since I think it's bursting with flavor already. This has honestly become my go to place on busy dreadful workday mornings. But I am totally looking forward to just stopping by for a relaxing afternoon coffee date as well. read more
