I really like this coffee shop. I had been wanting to try this place out, for a while. I like that is it fairly quiet, even though there were a bunch of people working; we were still able to talk and not feel like we needed to whisper. They have a good amount of tables and a small couch which we sat on. I think the Queen B sign is a cute added touch! The staff were also very friendly. I ordered the Nutella latte, and I was very pleased with it, because it was not overly sweet. My daughter really enjoyed the croissant, which was very large and so buttery and soft.
I love a cute coffee shop with delicious latte. I saw this pop up on one of my social media pages. When I drove up and saw the name Queen Bee in gold letters. I was even more excited to come inside. A nice neighborhood coffee shop to visit. Customer Service was friendly. The menu has sandwiches, pastries and specialty drink menu. Friendly and welcoming space. Nice fun inside decor Highly recommend
Loved our quick stop at this cafe! Did not expect it to be completely packed when we walked in but thankfully someone was leaving when we arrived and the super kind staff helped find us an extra seat. I got a freddo cappuccino which was delicious and my husband got the large house drip coffee which came in a little carafe with an extra cookie on the side which was a beautiful presentation. We tried the homemade cinnamon roll/croissant and the eggs Benedict which were both absolutely delicious. Got great vibes from this place and definitely would recommend checking it out!
We ordered the freddo coffee. best coffee I've had in a while! Ambiance was great, staff super sweet! Quality of everything was 10/10!! And most of all ... the prices!!! No overpriced mediocre coffee, how thrilling!! Absolutely loved this place. The pastries were super delicious as well
Super cute cafe with good coffee, solid breakfast/brunch menu and lots of seating. The music isn't too loud and the staff is very friendly. The cocoa is too sweet, but I think that might be just to my taste. The cookie on the side is a very nice touch.
So glad to see a unique coffee shop concept where there used to be a Starbucks (I think). Cute spot, great service and drinks. Self serve water in real glasses (still or sparkling). Loved the vibes and they gave us complimentary heart shortbread cookies! Loved my lavender latte! Great neighborhood spot!
Stopped in today and they've really upped their game. Service was fast, presentation was on point with my cappuccino (how cute is the cookie too?!), and they brought my items to the table. Seriously wonderful experience.
Queen Bee is always a good idea! You can never go wrong going here. Atmosphere is great, service is amazing. Their fresh croissants and chocolate croissants are our kids favorites. Their Freddo Cappuccinos and Frappes taste like Greece! We drive to the city from the burbs to have coffee dates! That's how good it is!
Every time I come to Queen B I am impressed. The coffee and food is so fresh and the portions are wonderful. The cafe has so much room too, it's great if you need to get some work done! Today I got the turkey croissant and it was so good. The environment is always so friendly and welcoming!
Lovely space that's very comfortable to work in. The banana bread is excellent but the matcha just not really flavorful.. I would return to try more items!
What a lovely new cafe! I was catching up with a old friend who was visiting Chicago. Initially where we wanted to go for lunch had a 45 minute wait, so we stumbled upon this place. Our meals were solid as was the coffee. The mini buns were indeed mini as they were on Hawaiian rolls. It was a Saturday early afternoon, so it was crowded and loud, but things moved quickly and the staff were great. I'll be back!
- A Royal Surprise at Queen Bee Café Drove past Queen Bee Café by chance and decided to stop in. I'm so glad I did. Right away, you can tell this isn't your average café. The vibe is upscale yet cozy, with a clear attention to detail and personal touch in everything from the decor to the menu. The iced coffee was a standout smooth, flavorful, and tasted like it was freshly brewed right over ice. No bitterness, just bold and refreshing. I ended up staying for brunch and ordered the Queen's Egg and Potato Skillet. Easily one of the best brunch dishes I've had at a café fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and plated beautifully. The staff was also exceptional friendly, warm, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there, which only added to the charm. All in all, a fantastic find. I'll definitely be coming back.
I got a plain croissant to go after my gym. It was huge layers crispy and buttery with thin honey glaze on top it for $7.00. Definitely put this as my to go item whenever I pass by.
Not me about to travel outside of my neighborhood for coffee and cake. The vibes alone. I don't even need to put my earbuds in necessarily. Because the music is chill. I can focus. And the staff is warm and helpful. No notes. read more
I got a regular latte and a Nutella croissant. The croissant was wonderful! It's not the crispy, flaky kind, but rather soft and fluffy, while still holding its shape beautifully. The latte art was lovely, though I thought the beans tasted a little over-roasted, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste that bothered my taste buds just a bit. Still, not a bad latte overall, and I appreciate they complemented the latte with a butter biscuit. The decor is super cute, and the seating is comfy, with a nice mix of chairs and couches. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. Staff were very friendly and they brought the coffee to my table. I came around 2pm and the kitchen was closed. If I'm in the area another time, I'd love to be back and try their brunch items. read more
Quick, solid spot for a meeting If you need a good place to meet up and grab a couple of snacks, Queen B at 3072 N. Lincoln Ave. is a solid choice. This is a walk-up service spot, and everyone working there has always been friendly and welcoming in my experience. The space itself has large front windows and a slightly upscale café/diner feel, making it a comfortable place to post up for a bit. They're mostly known for café-style items, but the menu has some really good bites as well. I've had their French toast in the past, and it was great. Overall, it's a convenient and reliable spot if you need somewhere casual to meet, work, or catch up with someone over light food and drinks. 4 out of 5 stars. read more

Friendly staff, great coffee and the best (and biggest) fresh baked croissant I think I've ever had. Also a really nice atmosphere that made for a great spot to get some work done with plenty of comfortable seating and clean bathrooms. read more

Such a cute and cozy wfh spot with comfortable seating and free wifi. Service was also super friendly however the food and drink were pretty lackluster for me. I got an iced vanilla latte and there was a weird bitter taste to it so not sure if it was the espresso or the syrup. The bagel sandwich was alright but just bland and the arugula didn't add much either. It got pretty busy when I went on Friday morning so I suggest coming early to find a table. read more
I loved visiting this new coffee shop! We ordered an iced latte, a croissant, and avocado toast. The croissant and iced coffee were really delicious. I enjoyed the avocado toast, but I might choose something different next time. This place is so cute! When we were there, many people were sitting, working, and chatting. We brought our two little ones with us, and they had a high chair available, which made the place feel family-friendly. We will definitely be back--I'm glad you're in the neighborhood! read more

This was a cool kitschy spot to pick up coffee from on a whim. It had a fun vibe with plenty of spaces to sit with friends or alone. I ordered a hot vanilla latte, but it was a little on the harsher side and can vaguely taste the vanilla. The service was quick and they were friendly overall. read more

Very cute on the inside and has a decent amount of seating. I got a dirty chai latte to go as well as a mini bun which was good. It was a Hawaiian roll w meat and lettuce etc. I prob wouldn't get what u got again but I would try something different. Overall, the service was good and I would go again. read more

As a coffee snob, I can confidently say, this is the best coffee in the city! The espresso is rich and smooth. I love their simple oatmilk latte, truly feels like you stepped onto the steps of a European coffee shop. The vibe is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for working or enjoying your morning coffee. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee! I still dream about the Nutella croissant I had. It was perfectly buttery, flaky, and baked to perfection. I believe all of their bread is freshly made. This is my go to Saturday morning coffee shop! Besides good coffee (cold and hot) and delicious pastries (try the homemade croissants), it's the little details that distinguish this corner coffee shop from the many competitors nearby. There is a water dispenser that dispenses regular & sparkling water. Cozy nooks to dine / work. To go iced drinks are in a boba can container (think, Te'amo). Even the napkins (adorned by the signature golden bee) are made of thick ply. Can't wait to try their breakfast menu next. So happy this coffee shop opened up in the hood! read more

Not sure what the three star reviews are about--I actually review coffee shops for travel magazines. Queen B ranks among Chicago's top 5 indies: Ritual, Hexe, Perkolator, and Jackalope on the South Side rounding out the lot. A lot of care has gone into making this a clean, super-bright place and the only one I know that offers sparkling water and a side sweet-- madeleines, chocolate truffles or butter cookies--as complementaries. Rewards program, solid WiFi, spotless bathrooms and yes, very solid coffee along with a well rounded selection of eats such as mascarpone-stuffed French toast. The Greek owners--Tassos, Christos and Stellios--have taken great pains to make this a first-class joint that is even dog friendly (unlike other spots such as Backlot, that will make you wait outside if you bring your pooch, even in the dead of winter). Chicago was aching for a Euro-coffee shop and this is it. A new jewel in Chicago's coffee scene, up there with Larry's Folly in Toronto and "% Arabica" in Brooklyn's DUMBO section. Is Queen B worth the trip, then? No--worth the return trip. read more
