Drawn to the eclectic energy and spunky name, Txa Txa Club has earned itself a fan! Curious how txa is pronounced? "like Cha Cha" is their slogan. Elaina, our waitress, was incredibly friendly checking in frequently to make sure our dining experience was well attended--and for a good cause as all bills include a mandatory 20% tip. The whole dining space is fun, bright and have influences of Korean aesthetics sprinkled throughout the space. I tried their two dishes featured in the Google page: yogurt and bfast sandy. The yogurt is drizzled with squid ink over a well portioned yogurt, citrus fruits, and granola. Beautiful presentation, just wished the granola could be more crunch. Very happy to report their breakfast sandwich is superb! The pork meat patty is packs a tasty lemongrass punch? Highly recommend!

Went here with a friend last weekend to spend some time together and catch up. Since it was a Sunday, it was a little busy, but we were able to get a table right away. It is full service, so you are given menus and waited on at your table/wherever you're sitting. If you're just grabbing something to go, I believe there is a quick checkout counter, too! The cafe space is fun, with a bit of an eclectic, colorful vibe. The decor was well coordinated. All of the staff we interacted with with kind and helpful, especially our server who helped me decided on what beverage to get. The menu definitely won't be for everyone! It felt a bit more "experimental", such as having squid ink in the yogurt bowl. Definitely not the spot to come for a typical iced latte -- try something more creative and fun! We got the Leet-Tchee, which is a caffeine-filled iced coffee, with added espresso, lychee, and coconut flavoring. I wasn't sure what to get, but our server suggested going with corn milk and marigold syrup in my iced latte. Both drinks were great, and the corn cake pastry was delish! The pricing was a bit steep, totaling around $30 for the three items without the tip. Despite that, I'd definitely go back, and would consider looking into their exploratory menu based monthly Supper Club!

Very hip spot with great ambiance, lots of seating and friendly service. I picked up a cafe sgroppino and a corn cake pastry from the case. I think next time I'll try something less fancy because I thought the drink was a bit too strange for my taste and the cake too sweet. That said, I think there were many other great options, I just need to come back and choose better

Say goodbye to boring all day cafes. Txa Txa (pronounced "Cha Cha") is anything but boring! Ever wondered what lychee would taste like in iced coffee? Me neither, but I'm glad I've been enlightened. Enjoyed the cold sesame noodles, and the breakfast sandwich was delicious and unique due to the flavorful sauce. Everyone who works there seems like the coolest person and the vibes are chill. The space is small and they have a waitlist for seating. You can also order to go at the register. I loved the corn cake and my friend loved the sesame cookie. I'd get the lychee iced coffee again. It works, it just works. Hats off to this fusion cafe.

We watched our waitress make multiple attempts to pick up my husband's drink from the bar, spill, set it down, pick it back up and spill more, and finally give up and run it to us. As she set down this sticky, wet, under-filled mess, I asked her exactly how much of my husband's $16 cocktail she had just spilled. She said, "Yeah, the bartender over-poured," and walked off. We then watched her do the exact same thing to every mixed drink she ran. Way, way too expensive to be delivering messy, dripping, quarter-empty cocktails. Skip Clara and go to Le Midi, where the service, ambience, and wine list were perfect.

The ambiance is really nice without feeling too "stuffy". Bar was gorgeous and service was friendly and helpful, allowing my boyfriend to sample some wines before going in on some bottles. Prices were what you'd expect for a trendy natural wine bar. The complimentary corn nuts in the antique dish were a cute touch. The charcuterie board with mixed meat and cheese was really small though. Only three pieces of cheese for five people... it made it feel like an awkward fight over who'd get to try some. The gluten free crackers were appreciated though. We ended up ordering more food including the "party tray" which I would describe more as charcuterie nachos. We didn't really know what to expect with this one so we got the canned mussels but it really would've tasted better with the prosciutto instead. It included a whipped cheese, olives, and cornichons piled onto potato chips. Less of a tray and more of a nacho-style dish. If we return next time we're in town, I'd skip the food and focus more on the wine. Beyond that, it was a fun time!

The bartender was nice. When asked, he said none of their drinks are really sweet. He said some Logan Square bartenders have PTSD from people asking about sweet drinks, as if they're the only ones who don't like sweet cocktails (hilarious). I didn't mean anything by it but was debating on the flavor and if I was up for something sweet or not. I landed on the Fortune Teller, perfect sipping drink. Lots of complex flavors, not too sweet, can definitely taste the coconut and pandan. I was surprised by the how much pandan flavor there was. My friends had the espresso martini (liked the drink but not the foam), Negroni Bianco, Aperol spritzes, and highball. All were good. Honorable mention for the Bonal shot (fortified wine). It was good! We were in the seating area at this point but the speakers were so loud it was hard to all talk to each other.

We had the flat iron steak, the chicken, and the salmon and each entree was wonderful. The proteins were all very tender and juicy. I was also very pleased with the salad that came first which was lightly dressed and very seasonal. We finished our dining experience with a slice of cheesecake. The burger was very good - extremely flavorful and despite not being a smashburger it had great texture because they have these crispy potato matchsticks in the burger itself. The sauce was also very flavorful - the bun was extremely fluffy and lightly sweet - almost Hawaiian roll esque. No notes on the burger but the fries could have been crispier - but the sauce they came with was also very yummy. We also got the salad and it was quite nice but requires some effort because they leave some of the lettuce in large chunks - the bacon on the salad is stellar but I think overall it could have used something with more acidity or brightness. I would definitely get the burger again :) Service: 5/5 fantastic - our server was super knowledgeable about the wines and equally helpful to our seasoned wine drinkers and the novices. Ambiance: 5/5 cute, great furnishings - we actually did comment that the chairs in the back dining area where we sat were very cozy. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. It is unfortunate because I genuinely liked this place before this encounter.
