This is the vibe! Drinks are strong and the service is great. Open seating and order at the bar. It's a very chill vibe in the day but when the do set starts it gets bumping and it's nonstop dancing by the stage. I need to come by when they have food events. Best time with the girls here or a fun date night.

thursday wine tasting: oregon B-sides

Heard about the thursday wine tastings and decided to try this place out with a couple friends. Totally loved it! We came for the b-side oregon wine tasting, and our guide was a very silly yet intellectual man who led us on a perfect tasting experience. He really hyped up each of the areas where these wines were coming from and drew from his personal knowledge of these sort of small-business growers and their methods. We got to try six wines for $10 per person, with pretty good sized pours. I tried an orange wine skin-contact pinos gris named tomato ramato, and was very impressed. The back patio seating was awesome, with plenty of space. Easy does it was also hosting a birria taco pop-up at the same time, so got to enjoy some tacos for dinner. I hope to come back for another tasting!

Cute place, large outdoor patio which is great for snow free days. They have an inside as well. This place has good wines, chilled well, and the staff are casual and nice. When sitting outside the bathroom is in a weird / creepy place. You go up an industrial metal stair, around some corners, inside and down a hall. Definitely doesn't feel comfortable at night.

Ask for Francisco! He offers insightful recommendations if you need help deciding on a wine or a cocktail. cheers y'all!

Easy Does It is listed in the Top 10 wine bars in America!!!! This place is straight-up cool. From the street, Easy Does It looks like a wine store. Once you show your ID you can walk up the staircase and the wine shop transforms into a cool wine bar and lounge. Food & Wine: The wines at this establishment are constantly changing. They have it all: white, red, sparkling, rose, and orange wines! Yes, I said orange wines! Try it! But don't worry, you don't have to be a wine snob to enjoy this lounge. They also offer cocktails, ciders, spirits, and beer. If you're getting hungry they have snacks. I recommend the cheese plate or popcorn to keep the good times rolling. Service: Ask for Francisco! He is the best sommelier in town. If you need a recommendation or just want to talk about wine, Francisco is the man. Overall, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I like to sit at the bar so I can easily get my drinks and have a clear view of the live entertainment. Ambiance: This is a huge lounge, with separate areas depending on the size of your party. From time to time Easy Does It has live entertainment! Check out the Instagram page @easydoesitchicago for all the details on upcoming events. Tonight was Jazz night. Overall: On the top ten wine bars in America list. Great for date night! Ask for Francisco for recommendations. Large space. Lounge seating areas. Chill vibe. Great for small or large groups. Live entertainment by local talent. You can go by yourself and meet great people.

We came to East Does It with a small group and had a scheduled wine tasting. The staff was friendly and did a great job. We tried 6 different wines. They brought them out one at a time, told us a bit about the winery it came from, how it was made, and what it tastes like. It was educational, but also pretty casual and not too intense. All of the wine was fantastic and our guide did an excellent job taking care of us. They served us at our own pace and ensured we had a great time. The location itself is very cool. I would love to come back sometime when I am in the neighborhood to sit down and have a glass or two. Great place to bring a friend or group of friends for some conversation.

Extremely cool spot on a strip of extremely cool spots. It's a high bar to compete w slippery slope, etc. but it's worth a trip over here!

I didn't get a chance to go to the patio outside, but I will definitely try it out next time. Special shoutout to the staff who recommended some amazing wines I would have otherwise never heard of.

The ambiance is really nice without feeling too "stuffy". Bar was gorgeous and service was friendly and helpful, allowing my boyfriend to sample some wines before going in on some bottles. Prices were what you'd expect for a trendy natural wine bar. The complimentary corn nuts in the antique dish were a cute touch. The charcuterie board with mixed meat and cheese was really small though. Only three pieces of cheese for five people... it made it feel like an awkward fight over who'd get to try some. The gluten free crackers were appreciated though. We ended up ordering more food including the "party tray" which I would describe more as charcuterie nachos. We didn't really know what to expect with this one so we got the canned mussels but it really would've tasted better with the prosciutto instead. It included a whipped cheese, olives, and cornichons piled onto potato chips. Less of a tray and more of a nacho-style dish. If we return next time we're in town, I'd skip the food and focus more on the wine. Beyond that, it was a fun time!

Just know this is NOT the same burger as the famed Au Cheval…read more This place has a reasonably priced smash burger with all the trimmings. Decent flavor. Fries are just so-so and when we visited they were so salty they were inedible. If you are looking for a quick burger fix, this is a great place to drop in! There is very little indoor seating but they created a nice outdoor patio area with picnic tables and cute umbrellas for shade. Perfect for summer outdoor dining. Service is reasonably quick. The place does have excellent ice cream, shakes (boozy shakes, yes please!) and concretes. Good go-to summer place for quick service meal.

The prices are way too high for the amount and quality of food you receive. The dijonnaise sauce was the highlight of the food for me. Everything else didn't have a unique, distinct quality I had been hoping for in a place like this. I found it odd that when I requested the lettuce and tomato to add, I had to add it myself instead of it already being added to the burger. The fries weren't anything to rave about either. We didn't try any ice cream, but if I'm back maybe I'll do that instead.
