Haven't been here yet but bought their focaccia from farmers market in the pioneer court. As someone whose a bread connoisseur O M G this focaccia is Crack! Sooooo good!!! We inhaled it, even cold!! The rosemary flavor is an added bonus! Soo delicious! The bread is pillowy soft with a nice crunch texture on the outside if warmed up. Makes an amazing sandwich!

The restaurant has been on my bucket list for breakfast/brunch, however, I generally work on the weekends. I did not take off Marathon Sunday to cheer on the runners. Since the marathon was dwindling down, I decided to try the restaurant. I was seated on the patio since the weather is still nice. The male server had checked in with the two tables next to me without acknowledging me. They were both fine with their meals. Few minutes later, he checked in with them again and dropped off their checks and still didn't acknowledge me......I was really looking forward to try the Cinnamon French Toast. After being there for 13 minutes and being ignored I left. I guess I'll continue to be loyal customer at Stella's and The Bagel. Of course, I'll continue to check out other neighbor restaurants.

Great spot for brunch! I like that oak and honey has a classic well rounded menu but also with some elevated twists. I've always admired their outdoor seating when walking by, but was surprised by how big the inside is too! They have a nice coffee menu. I got a pumpkin spice latte along with the root vegetable hash and it was good! They make their bread in house, along with gluten free bread (it isn't listed on the menu, but it was nice that they have accommodations since my friend is gluten free! Also came with a housemade jam. Our server was so nice and accommodating!

Oh my! Deliciousness! First time for me several times for my family I had the Cesar salad with w/chicken and a side of rosemary roasted potatoes. The potatoes were oh so delicious! Crispy and tender! Hint of rosemary seasoned throughout the potatoes. Definitely a must with every sandwich or side dish I did not like the anchovies in the salad. Maybe I overlooked the ingredients but I would have asked to hold the anchovies. I picked them out! Overall the salad was good chicken grilled to perfection. My brother had the breakfast sandwich - croissant, egg & cheese, and bacon with rosemary roasted potatoes. Croissant was warm and buttery. Roger had a Monte Cristo sandwich with rosemary roasted potatoes--basically a ham/cheese sandwich but oh so delicious. The bread was fresh, soft, and buttery on its own. He could not eat it all. This place is very warm and inviting. Reminds me of a little cafe. You can also eat outside if you like. Our waiter, Nick, was very friendly and attentive. The only issue is they do NOT split checks. Whenever I'm in Chicago again, I will revisit.

Beautiful and cozy restaurant in lakeview. Went here for brunch and we were seated at the front of the restaurant right next to the giant windows on a beautiful day. The vibes were wonderful right off the bat. Green dream (pistachio matcha)- 2/5: this was just ok for me. I really enjoyed the dried strawberries on top but the taste didn't really do it for me. Matchamallow- 2/5: a good matcha but very very sweet. It was a little too sweet for me. Cinnamon roll French toast- 5/5: yummy! The perfect amount of food! 2x2 with bacon- 5/5: oh man... I dream of their rosemary potatoes. They are nicely crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and are perfectly seasoned. Their bacon was also delicious and is much more than bacon you would get from any old diner. Service 5/5- the staff was so sweet and accommodating! Overall - 4/5. A great place for brunch with a beautiful vibe and solid brunch food.

We went to Oak & Honey for afternoon brunch today. We made a reservation through OpenTable, and the process was smooth. We were seated near the entrance. The restaurant is spacious and there is a small bar near the entrance. Our server was attentive and started us off with water and drinks right away. We ordered the Monte Cristo, French Toast, and Duck Benedict. I highly recommend the Monte Cristo and Duck Benedict. The Monte Cristo had sliced ham layered inside rich eggy French toast. The combo of mustard and maple syrup added a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The Duck Benedict was a creative combination. It's served on sourdough with a fresh side salad. The only downside was that the egg was slightly overcooked. The French Toast on its own was decent, but if you are already ordering the Monte Cristo, I would skip it since they are quite similar in flavor. Prices are fair -- about $35 for all three dishes, which felt like a good value. Side note: They make their pastries fresh daily!

What a wonderful brunch spot! We tried the Monte Cristo and the breakfast sandwich. I loved the homemade sourdough for the breakfast sandwich, but would have loved a little more flavor with the filling. The rosemary potatoes are so flavorful and crispy in the best way possible. My friend enjoyed the monte cristo very much. The service is so friendly and we had a great experience. The restaurant is big so can accommodate quite a few people. We came in without a reservation on Saturday morning and didn't have to wait. Would recommend!

Great little addition to the neighborhood! With creative twists on classic dishes, there's definitely something to please everyone on this menu. Our group visited for Saturday brunch and it was hopping. The lively atmosphere made for a fun get-together, but I definitely recommend making a reservation during peak hours. For the food, I opted for the avocado toast and pancakes to share. The avocado toast had a fantastic flavor that successfully blended a variety of elements including pesto and cilantro. The homemade sourdough was outstanding, and the salad dressing was addicting yet light. Definitely recommend this dish. My only qualm was that the bread was quite charred, leaving the crust hard and difficult to cut. The pancakes arrived hot and were super thick, fluffy, and well executed with real maple syrup on the side. I had ordered a drip coffee but, alas, it did not arrive until after I had finished eating and we were paying the bill. Although there were a couple of small hiccups, I really liked this spot and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

such a cozy and neat breakfast spot in a nice part of town. We had such friendly staff, we went for breakfast and chose savory options. They have a great coffee selection menu. great choices of hot drinks and iced lattes. They also had a bakery in the front where you can grab pastries, will deff be grabbing some next time. Overall, food and experience was great. Recommend especially for breakfast

I've been wanting to try Oak & Honey and am very happy we did. You will definitely want to make a reservation if you plan on stopping in for Brunch, otherwise you'll be seated at the bar. We ordered: - Iced Latte - Green Dream - Duck Benedict - Grilled Chicken Sandwich Everything was well seasoned and flavorful, we definitely went with heavier options but I didn't feel bad after. Next time I'll probably go with something sweet. I did see a bakery case near the front and it looks like it is all made in house. The staff was very friendly as well and not overbearing, definitely recommend giving it a try.

We went for happy hour and it was such a good menu! Very good choice for drinks and prices - no food though. Small restaurant style but a good vibe and fit our group of 8 and could we've fit a bigger group than us. Our server was amazing and quick with answers to all our questions.

Do yourself a favor and get breakfast or brunch at this spot. Firstly the service is attentive and engaging. The decor is inviting and welcoming. But most importantly the food is spot on. My wife had the Monte Cristo made with porchetta and French toast. I had a breakfast sandwich on sourdough and both were amazing. Great coffee as well. Will be back for sure.

What an exceptional addition to the neighborhood. The former occupant Ceres Table was very good so I worried about what would come next. Oak & Honey absolutely knocked it out the park. Finally decided to drop by for a late breakfast yesterday and was super satisfied from start to finish. The owners did an excellent job at revamping the interior, gotta love a good ambience but it's the food (and friendly service) that will keep me coming back as a loyal customer. Best pancakes ever. Lattes were on point. I'm here for a beer and sandwich soon for sure.

After Salon hours this place turns into a cozy little bar with wonderful cocktails and excellent service where you can actually have a conversation with friends. How old fashioned is that!? Three bar service locations, ample seating space, a cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, and an upscale, luxurious feel to the whole place. We never get tired of coming here. But all of that together does not measure up to the heart and soul of the space brought to it by Jerry and Lee. Go. You'll fall in love too.

This isn't them being cute with a theme, there is a bona-fide salon here, though it does not operate as late as the bar and was tucked away behind a curtain. Speaking to a regular, it is possible to have a cocktail while having your hair cut (or maybe waiting at some point in the process?) But I digress. I ordered a Taxi Dancer - an extremely pleasant whiskey-based drink that was spirit forward without being overwhelming (though I drink whiskey neat, so take this with a grain of salt). It had a perfect level of sweetness, and a little spice (not heat). The vibe here is upscale, modern, and bright. The bar staff is friendly and welcoming to newcomers and regulars alike. I also love that their prices seem to be reasonable, all things considered. The aforementioned cocktail is $16, which is fair considering the quality. While on that particular night I only had the one, I will be happily adding Buzzed by Zea to my cocktail bar rotation when I feel like going out for a night on the town.

It was the right move because it had the kind of chill vibe we were seeking after a long flight from SFO. Fortunately there were two seats at the bar with our names on them. Figuratively speaking. They had quite a signature cocktail list on hand, and we felt it was our obligation to try as many as we could. At least that was what we said to ourselves as the evening wore on. Each cocktail was $14. We started with a couple of familiar libations. Jamie ordered the Mint Julep, a delightfully Deep South mix of bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint (photo: https://yelp.to/u-td8LdPLj). I went further south with the Pineapple Margarita which was emboldened by a tropically potent mix of pineapple infused tequila, lime juice, and agave (photo: https://yelp.to/V-Sf6Q_2qK). We got a bit bolder with our second round and found mixed results. Jamie had the Not Your Mom's Daiquiri which amped up the margarita by blending pineapple-infused tequila with Bacardi 8-year rum. Along with fresh lime and simple syrup, this one definitely had more of a kick (photo: https://yelp.to/1ZijDf6wMV). However, my order, the Pontiac Pony, was a spicy miss for me. It was a rather oddball mix of apple-cinnamon infused vodka, pear liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and ginger beer (photo: https://yelp.to/5dQoFdzG98). There was just a harshness that didn't sit well on my tongue. Oh well, the mellow vibe was cool. I happened to discover LNF during a Yelp Event when LNF turned into Rudolph's Bar, a jolly holly Xmas Extravaganza! I do not believe there was a single spot in the bar that had not been covered in Xmas decorations. It was total sensory overload to the point I did not put up any directions 2025 because I had seen enough at LNF. HAHAHAHAHA! On the strength of the food and drinks that night, I decided to go back once all of the Xmas hoopla was over. Going back in 2026 was a more subdue, but enjoyable time for me. As I mentioned in my 2025 review, even with all the Xmas decoration, the overall vibe was a step up from the typical bars around the Cubs playground. I would have loved a regular girls night out there instead of the last hurrah of me and The Queen. I had mentioned to her about the cocktails and the pizzas I had during the Yelp event and we decided to stop in before heading to the Alamo Drafthouse for a movie. Me and The Queen go the Spicy Sausage pizza and those fries, since I talked about the food to her. Again it was really good, with the crust still being nice and thin. The Queen did not think it was all that spicy, but she eats Hell Ramen Level 4, so I do not look to her for confirmation of hotness when it comes to food. We had cocktails and The Queen (because she was driving) had a Margarita made with a zero proof Tequila. I have to say it was not that bad and I got one and added Prosecco to it...delish. Me and The Queen had a great time chatting, eating and drinking at LNF, but were both sad that we were going to miss out on the opportunity to turn this into one of our rotation hangouts. But I will always be grateful for them introducing me to their Red Bull Winter Spritz. Since that Yelp Event, I have bought three cases of Red Bull Sugar-Free Fuji Apple and Ginger Winter Edition Energy Drink to make the cocktail. Not sure if it is exactly how they did it, but it works for me. So long LNF, it was good knowing you, even if it was for a short time. Deuces!

My goal is to try 50 new Chicago restaurants in 2025!…read moreRestaurant: 63/50 Month tried: November Favorite dish: I would not eat here again Woooof. We had a reservation for 9 am the day of the Michigan/Northwestern game at Wrigley Field. Figured we would have a quick brunch then go enjoy the pre-game atmosphere. Well, when we had been sitting for nearly 30 minutes with no server to be found, we started to get nervous. She finally came over and while she was sweet, really just nothing went right. A food runner brought out a tray that appeared to have all of our orders, but then only served one plate before walking away. It was a solid 10-15 minutes before anyone else's meals were brought out, and even then it was one plate at a time every few minutes, not the rest of the order at once. And everything was cold. Every single item. The chicken and waffles felt like it came out of the fridge it was so cold. And the worst part - we had a member in our party with a severe nut allergy, who told the server 3 times. She noted it, and made sure he would get white toast instead of wheat. When his meal came, there were two huge pieces of wheat toast with visible nuts across his ENTIRE plate. Touching every piece of food. He said again that he was allergic, and they just removed the toast and handed the plate back. It had already touched everything! Since at this point we had to leave soon for the game (and because we now couldn't trust a kitchen that doesn't understand a nut allergy), we just had them remove his order from the check and he didn't get to eat. The server did take 20% off the total bill and gave us a gift card to make up for our terrible experience. Like I said, she was very nice and trying her best. She was just at the mercy of the kitchen being behind and screwing up. But as a Wrigleyville restaurant, you MUST be able to handle lots of customers on a game day. That's like the one thing Wrigley bars need to be good at. This is just not an environment I would choose to be in again, especially for the steep prices. We'll use the gift card for drinks at the bar on a non-game day, and wipe our hands of Lost Never Found.
