This is a really cute spot off Damen for coffee. The aesthetics were really pretty and they also have a low key outdoor space. We placed our orders and I got a simple iced sugar free vanilla latte. The staff was super friendly and took our orders right away. However, it took 20 mins to wait for our two lattes and unfortunately I really couldn't taste any coffee, just the milk. Prices were around the $7-8 range, but just the flavor of our drinks were completely missing and waited quite long for them.

Cutest new coffee shop in Roscoe Village! Went on a weekday morning to get some work done and there was plenty of seats available. Love the staff, so friendly! I didn't try any food, but I had the PB cold brew and it was not super sweet and delicious! Great place to meet a friend, get some work done and enjoy the cute space!

A solid 4.5-star coffee shop. Absolutely loved the espresso they pulled for my cortado - strong, silky mouthfeel with a slightly fruity finish. Also tried the Peanut Butter Crunch Cold Brew since it seemed to be everyone's go-to order, but personally liked the simple cortado much more. The cream top didn't blend seamlessly with the cold brew flavor-wise, and the drink leaned too bitter for me. I think just a touch more sweetness - without making it overly sweet - could balance it out nicely. Overall though, really enjoyed the simple menu, stylish and bright interior, and the focused yet friendly baristas.

Baristas are super friendly! Coffee was solid, i had a mocha- i'm sure their specials are even better. Super cozy place to chill at and do some work for sure!

Absolutely love the aesthetic inside! Staff are super friendly and the guava espresso tonic was so refreshing, well balanced and affordable. Strawberry lemonade was sharp but wish they strained the strawberry seeds. They also have free wifi and pastries. I'd go back and try more.

As a designer, I fell in love with this place immediately. The finishes and the overall feel is perfect! Theres a lot of unique touches that make it feel comfortable and cozy without feeling tight and cluttered. There is so much seating inside and a few tables outside as well. Everything is so cute!! I got the peanut butter crunch cold brew and it was really good! Nice cold foam and not too sweet with the cold brew. The staff were super nice as well. Easy to get to off the Addison brown line, I'll be back!

Atmosphere & vibes of this cafe are ideal! The space is airy, with plenty of room. Everyone who worked there was chill and the vibes are approachable with plenty of people working remotely and catching up with friends over coffee. Menu is short and sweet in terms of both drink and food options. A few drinks caught my eye and I got the crunchy peanut butter cold brew, which I enjoyed. It wasn't sweet which I liked. The cold foam could have had a bit more peanut butter flavor though. I got the breakfast sandwich too which was fine and reminiscent of one you'd get at Starbucks.

Very cute spot with lots of sunny counter seats, several tables in the back, really friendly service, great coffee (metric, 4lw and hexe), and great pastries (publican). Lovely addition to the neighborhood!

    Fun place to have coffee.

The cold brew was nice and strong but wasn't super peanut flavored.

I asked her for some recommendations and she suggested one of the frozen drinks. I'm so glad she did because I have been craving it ever since! They have a few frozen drinks to choose from, but I went with the cold brew + hazelnut truffle. It's made with housemade hazelnut milk, cold brew, cacao, frozen bananas, housemade coconut caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, and seasalt. Trust me-- it is just as heavenly as it sounds! I forgot to get photos of it because I drank it so quickly--sorry! The space is so cute inside and it's in a fun area to wander around, right in the heart of Lincoln Square. Can't wait to come back!

I popped in for lunch during a visit to Lincoln Square, primarily…read morebecause the menu sounded fabulous - so many plant based options, including house-made milks. Unfortunately the menu overpromises and the food underdelivers, at least that day. -Lentil soup: good flavor, but very watery, more like broth than soup. The amount of soup barely reached a third of the way up the bowl, and the price of $7 for the bowl size was candidly just not worth it. -Beet hummus sandwich: again, good flavor, but I was anticipating a sandwich (as per menu description). What was presented was a single piece of naan spread with a thin layer of beet hummus, scattered with a few toppings. For $13 my expectations were higher. The beet hummus was delicious; with the goal of recreating this at home I asked a member of the staff about the ingredients. Unfortunately rather than saying, "I'm not sure, but let me check," they responded with "I don't know. I just started and I don't know most of the menu items." There is a lot of fabulous food in Chicago. Although Oromo Cafe is fine, I recommend saving ones dining experience and money for something truly fabulous.

We were crushed and at a loss for what to do. We waited on the couch, deliberating our options. After about 20 minutes, the restaurant was able to work us in! (Note that we were really lucky. My friend and I had different glasses of Georgian wine; I had Alazani Valley, which was luscious. We shared megruli khachapuri and soko ketze (mushroom caps filled with cheese). Incredible.
