We decided to try this place instead of having boba tea nearby. It's located by Whole Foods. Parking is ample but it gets busy at night like after 7 pm. Anytime before that you're good. The same goes for seating inside, the later you go the harder it is to find a seat. We decided to try their gelato as well as a couple of their drinks. We tried popcorn, lotus, pistachio, and raffaello for gelato. Then Belgian hot chocolate and karak chai. Their menu is actually slightly different than it is online. Gelato flavors were incredible and filling. They give you a lot for your money. The drinks were very tasty. I saw the portion sizes of the crepes from other tables. Very generous portions. We ordered the fettuccine crepe, oreo crepe and the marshmello crepe. The portions were pretty big, so it could be shared amongst two people. When my friend ordered the fettuccine crepe, I didn't know what to expect. Then when he got it, I realized it was the crepe cut into fettuccine style. So creative! Overall a decent experience. My boyfriend felt the prices were a little high, but I felt they were ok. For 2 desserts it was about $20. The waffle was fresh and crispy. It was topped with a brownie and then fresh chocolate. I especially liked dipping it in the strawberry glaze of the cheesecake. The strawberry cheese cake had fresh strawberries on the side as well. Served with hot chocolate on waffle with fresh fruits - Must try. My wife ordered the Lava Volcano Cake and she requested Mango Cheese cake on the side instead of Chocolate cake so that it's not too much chocolate on the same plate. I would suggest to try this combo since it will help you to cut your taste with Mango cake when you feel like too much chocolate. So far I've only tried a various assortments of desserts. And to my liking every single one has achieved it.

In the not-so-distant past, my wife visited Melt N' Dip with some friends. After hyping it up, I was excited to try this place. We made our way over on a Monday evening and it was not too busy. The interior looked kind of strange with the red accents and the table design, but not a big deal. The piano music that was playing was a few notches too loud, though. All the menu items looked scrumptious. I narrowed down three items. My wife had highly recommended the Lotus Crepe, but against my better judgement I went with the Pina Colada Crepe. As most men learn the hard way, it's often better to listen to one's wife. It took a while for the dessert to be prepared, but I'd chalk it up to staff shortage. Unfortunately the Pina Colada Crepe did not blow me away. The crepe itself was nothing special. Inside the crepe pouch was the grocery store variety of sliced pineapples and shredded coconut. The exterior was topped with melted chocolate (milk, dark, and white), but my wife stated that the Lotus Crepe had a more copious amount of melted chocolate on top. While these desserts look awesome for Instagram and such, I'm not impressed by the taste. However, I need to try another item or two before making a final judgement. I'll say 3 stars for now, but hopefully I can bump it up after trying the Lotus Crepe. read more

I should have read reviews of other people who got the same crepe and I'm surprised no one mentioned the crepe not having any patisserie cream in it. If the description said "crepe stuffed with fresh pineapple and coconut flakes..." I wouldn't get it. For almost $20, I would hope to get ingredients listed on the menu. We've tried the Melt n' Dip Dark Crepe ($11.99), the Lotus crepe ($10.99), the Melt N Dip Crepe ($11.99), and their yummy gelato (2 scoops for $4.99). First off, I have to say I'm so glad a place like this opened up near us! I don't think there's anything like this in our area. Upon walking in, the place is pretty spacious and homey. The menu was on the wall and I'm grateful they have pictures on there. They use European chocolate here so it tastes amazing. Out of the three crepes, I think the Melt n' Dip Crepe was the best one just because the fruit helped balance out the extreme sweetness. I felt a little sick after eating all that chocolate! There's definitely enough to share. I wasn't a huge fan of the Lotus- I thought there would be Lotus spread but it really was just Lotus cookies plopped inside. The Dark was great and the brownie was super soft. It was so beautiful too! All the designs they do on the crepe make for a great photo-op. But really, the star of the show for me was the gelato. All of the flavors were so well developed! And they aren't just your basic flavors either. I got the Ferrero-Rocher and Cheesecake. My sister got the Nutella and Lotus. It was so good and having something cold after all that chocolate crepe helped a lot. Employees were kind and patient. It was a short wait for our items. Yes, it is a bit pricey to be paying for a $12 crepe but keep in mind that they're using European chocolate. You can taste the difference in quality. The price for their gelatos were what you would normally expect to pay at any ice cream/gelato shop. Overall, I think their prices are fair for what you're getting. Please, please come support Melt n' Dip! It just newly opened and it's a local business that is worth your time and your appetite. It's rich - I'd love to see a honey drizzle option, but I'm not complaining. My friend ordered the chocolate waffle and had envy of mine. We ordered the Panama and Tahiti juices, too. I have to be honest, they're good, but I don't know how to eat them. It's huge chunks of fruit with gelato in a cup (with a straw??). Maybe a spoon is recommended for this.
