I recently tried Eiffel Waffle after seeing posts of their collaboration with Burhan Academy in Elgin, IL. It's a very nice cute little place. As soon as you walkin you are greeted with sweet smell of waffles coming hot off the griddle. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations on what to try. I had the bubble waffle with Dubai chocolate ice cream. Waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a hint of sweetness. Ice cream was also rich in flavor, not too sweet. Ice cream soaked waffle at the end is the ultimate treat! I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. read more

My only reason for four stars is that the wait was a bit long when I went (probably because the desserts are so good!). Be advised that if you order anything with a waffle component, that's going to add some waiting time because they all seem to be made fresh to order. You CAN just get ice cream in a cup if ice cream is all you want, but if you're here, I'm guessing the scent and novelty of the waffle lured you in. I'd recommend doing a waffle tower (smaller size, unless you've got an appetite) and that'll tell you if you want/need ice cream at all with the delights these waffles are. Everyone inside was working really hard because it was super busy when I went, but they were all nice and friendly from taking my order to handing it off. It was crowded inside because this is a pretty small space. There is seating outside which is perfect for summer, but any other time you'll probably have to take it to go. Decided to stop in and try this place after discovering it on Yelp. It was such a cute little place and concept. My boyfriend and I split the night in Paris. The location itself is small so don't expect a lot of sit down availability. It's great for a grab and go. Fortunately, my family and I went in February in the evening. I have seen this type of waffle all over instagram and finally gave this place a try. It's not bad, but probably more of a try it once for the trend rather than making it a staple stop for ice cream. Outside of the store, you can definitely smell that they make the waffles fresh. I hate to say it, but the sidewalk was absolutely trashed outside of the place though. Spilled ice cream, toppings, etc. were stuck on the sidewalk. The store though, was very clean. The employees are your typical DG teens, friendly enough but there were SO many people working I felt like it was chaos. The ice cream and waffle are just ok. Fun flavor combos to choose from and build your own, but nothing that made me feel like I absolutely have to go back a second time. I found out about this place by scrolling TikTok and immediately knew my niece would love it. We all got bubble waffle sundae cones. They were amazing but huge. Definitely worth it for a special treat. The bubble waffle was freshly made and my niece loved that there were hollow parts in the bubbles. We all went with the listed concoctions, but there are also make your own options. I'd probably just go with the minis with ice cream next time for something smaller, but it's a tough call. Found this place by walking by. it's a pretty unique concept in that the cone is an actually fluffy waffle. You can create your own or pick one of the recipes from the menu. They do also have shakes if you prefer not to have the waffle. I think if i went back i would go with a smaller option or without the cone. the ice cream was good the waffle was just too much for me and the ice cream melted a little faster due to the warm waffle.
