A tall, ribbed glass contains iced coffee with visible ice cubes and a black straw. The drink appears creamy and is set on a white table. In the background, there are blurred figures of people and a television screen, indicating a cafe or lounge environment.

I've been to Cocomelt twice now - it's basically EVERY time that I come to Seoul Bites, I inadvertently find myself going to Cocomelt for coffee and dessert afterwards. I love their ambiance - we all know they made sure this was the hangout spot for the cool kids, and that you can take plenty of post-worthy selfies. That being said, the first time around the service was prompt, the food was delicious, especially the coffee, and it was an astounding experience. This time around, it was prime dinner/post-dinner time, there were only two people working, and the coffee was incredibly watered down. I tried their honey cake, and the taste was delicious, but the actual sponge was very CLEARLY stale, and that was bothersome, because price wise, this place is absolutely not cheap. I don't mind paying the price, but this time around the coffee was watered down (not even the same color) AND the cake was stale. The general ambiance, as always, was fantastic!

Dubai Chocolate - A rectangular chocolate dessert is presented on a pink plate, topped with green matcha sauce drizzled over the top and sprinkled with matcha powder. The dessert appears to have a layered structure, with a base layer and a glossy chocolate coating. The background is blurred, indicating a setting with ambient lighting, possibly in a restaurant or cafe.

No doubt it's a really cool place for selfies and dessert pics. It really is a beautiful space with cozy booths and seating areas. Hello, Instagram. And I loved the Dubai Chocolate. But then I kinda lose that lovin' feeling a bit. The other desserts we ordered didn't knock my socks off and I felt the service was really lacking. If you order at your table and they serve you your desserts, why don't they at least bring napkins with it? Or maybe water? Are they a sit-down establishment like they look like they are or are they self-serve? I think they should decide to be one or the other. 3 stars is a bit too low and 4 stars feels too high. I'd give it a 3.5 stars if that existed

The image shows a white table set with various desserts and beverages at a pink-themed dessert lounge. Items include a chocolate cake with chocolate drizzle, a sandwich with potato chips, a plush toy resembling a white cat, and a chocolate milkshake topped with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs. A flower arrangement with pink and white flowers, a QR code sign, and gold utensils are also on the table, which is surrounded by pink seating and a decorative interior.

Shoutout to Malik! He's an excellent worker and incredibly personable! Everything at Cocomelt is halal, and I've brought many friends here; everyone leaves loving it. The food is delicious and flavorful, but the desserts and drinks are truly the stars. The chocolate is always rich, thick, and decadent, and the drinks are just as amazing. I especially love the pistachio kanafeh shake! It's so yummy, textured, and totally satisfying if you love drinks with toppings. Overall, Cocomelt is the perfect spot if you're looking for a high quality sugar rush. Delicious treats, amazing drinks, and friendly staff make it a must visit!

have you ever wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate?! This is was my first time here and I already know I'm going to be back! I've always wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate and I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on it here at Cocomelt! It was everything I expected and more. I also loved the vibes in here! There were so many people there hanging out with friends and family, you can definitely see that it's a well loved spot. I just wish there was more seating available, because it was a bit awkward waiting for a spot to sit down. Other than that, I look forward to coming back!

Beautiful place, great service and delicious treats!! Enjoyed the desserts each time I have come here. Special mention to their lotus desserts!

Let me tell you about this sweet paradise I found this past weekend. Cocomelt showed up on my IG feed a few weeks ago and I knew I had to go see the hype for myself! The inside is so cute, with tons of beautiful seating, and wall pieces. They have the viral Dubai chocolate but it was sadly out of stock when we went, but I will definitely be going back to try it out!! The service was great, we were in and out so quickly! They have tons of dessert options ranging from cake slices, croissants, crepes, waffles, and chocolate bars to coffees, teas, and milkshakes! Alright so we tried the lotus biscoff crepe - it was UNREAL YOU GUYS! There was biscoff crumbs, chocolate drizzle, it was just the perfect balance of flavors. I cannot wait to go back for more I'm still dreaming of it to this day!!! We also tried the kinder sushi roll which had kinder chocolate inside with a chocolate drizzle on top and chocolate dipping sauce on the side. Definitely a chocolate overload but if you're into that, this is your jam! This is the perfect dessert lounge with so many options and they have so much variety! So excited that a spot like this has opened up in the suburbs! 10/10 recommend!

This was an amazing dessert place. Their Dubai Chocolate was very flavorful, and their crepes were all top level. I would highly recommend this place.

    Knafeh bar $10

It's decent, lovely feminine ambience. Food is good, the crepe is light and airy. But if I compare it to "melt n dip " , I prefer the crepe at melt n dip a little more. The service is top tier though. Super friendly staff. Lots of seating inside.

The image shows the interior of a decorative dessert lounge with a curved ceiling and multiple hanging pendant lights with intricate patterns. Large windows allow natural light to enter, revealing parked cars outside. The seating area includes chairs and tables, and the overall ambiance is modern and stylish, with a focus on lighting design.

Stopped here because I heard they are selling the Viral Dubai Chocolate Bar which didn't live up to the hype for me and the cost was $11! They have a self service kiosk setup for ordering and the customer service was good. The lounge has a nice pink ambiance and they also have a prayer room which is cool.

Walked into this place and it is so cute! Very nice for Instagram pictures as well. It was pretty busy when we walked in. Quickly knew what we wanted to order so that made it easier. The staff was friendly. I ordered the kunafa croissant and knuafa bar....because everyone has been eating/trying it so you know...had to try it as well! I absolutely LOVED the croissant! It was not too sweet, the crunch was there, it was a perfect buttery croissant. The bar I thought was good but a little too sweet for my liking. It also melted really fast while holding it. Definitely will have to come back again to try out the other stuff on the menu and the drinks.

Loved Coco Melt! The ambiance is great -- spacious, clean, and perfect for hanging out. They have tons of drink and dessert options, and the Cookies n' Cream waffle I got was amazing. Definitely a fun spot to satisfy your sweet tooth!

    Pistachio latte
    Victoria S.

The interior design is very pretty and modern with neon signs and fake plants which makes it a very cute cafe, however, it is severely overpriced for very average items. I got the pistachio latte and the good and bad part was it had chunks of real pistachio in it, but it was undrinkable bc there was so many chunks that I was almost choking on the amount. I drank only half because I got tired of filtering the liquid from the chunks with my teeth through the straw. The latte was $9. I also got a chocolate croissant that was $7 that had barely any chocolate filling and it was all dough. However, the service was nice and brought out our items to our table, but I will not be coming back.

Tres Leches - A slice of tres leches cake with caramel and chocolate drizzle on top is placed on a gray plate, with a gold-colored fork beside it. In the background, there is a potted plant with green leaves in a white square pot, and a pink cup with a saucer. The setting appears to be a cafe or dessert lounge with decorative lighting.

Cocomelt is in a nice large plaza with plenty of parking. They have a lot of decadent desserts, but we mainly went for tea & coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, my go-to beverage, and my wife ordered a Kashmiri chai. On a whim I decided to order a slice of tres leches cake, as well. The cappuccino had a very air, light milk foam on it, not rich and dense like some other coffee shops (such as Sparrow). That was disappointing. My wife enjoyed the Kashmiri chai. Both drinks were served in nice mugs. As for the cake, it didn't come out with our drinks. I went back to the register and reminded them about it. By the time it eventually came out, I was already done with my coffee, so we just took a few bites and got a to-go box to bring it home. The cake was pretty good, but not the best tres leches I've had. The inside of Cocomelt is large and looks very fancy. Definitely good for the Instagram and TikTok folks. Pricing was on the higher end, which was expected. The cake slice alone was $10. Service left something to be desired.

Close at 10pm but if you need longer later hours a 1am tea shop is about a quarter mile down the road with good options also. Parking lot with plenty of parking. My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again.

But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sales person was pleasant and quick. This store is their biggest store, and they feed the Winfield and Schaumburg stores. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. It does have a limited selection of products but they were all pretty good. The brownies are very frudgey, just the way I like them. The cake pops are sweet, but a little dry. The cookie has a lot of chips in them. Overall, I liked the place.

The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo.
