Cocomelt was such a sweet little stop. Everything looked so pretty and the desserts definitely give that treat-yourself vibe. We tried the kinder crepe. The chocolate itself was rich without tasting too heavy, which I liked. It's one of those places that feels perfect when you want a cute dessert run or need to bring something fun for friends or family. Service was smooth and everything looked nicely put together. A solid spot when you're craving something chocolatey and a little extra.
Cocomelt - A Dessert Wonderland Worth Every Bite I'm a devoted fan of glorious, over-the-top desserts, and Cocomelt did not disappoint, not once, but twice. In the past two months I've celebrated here with my sister and my consuegra, and each visit left us happily sugared-up and grinning like kids who discovered the cookie jar wasn't hidden after all. I've worked my way through the FOMO, the Knefeh Pistachio, the Lotus Crêpes, the Pistachio Tiramisu, and the Cocomelt Waffle. Every one of them was indulgent, rich, beautifully made, and absolutely worth the moment of silence you take between bites. This is dessert as an art form, and I am a willing student. Portions are generous enough that both times we left with leftovers, giving us an extra couple of days of sweet happiness. No complaints there. The space itself is expansive and airy. On a weekday afternoon it can feel a bit cold simply because there aren't many customers around, but it's still inviting, light, and modern, a bright place to sit and enjoy something decadent. Service could use a bit more polish and attentiveness, but the quality of the desserts keeps me loyal. And yes, I'll keep coming back... preferably with people who understand the sacred joy of an excellent sugar high.

No doubt it's a really cool place for selfies and dessert pics. It really is a beautiful space with cozy booths and seating areas. Hello, Instagram. And I loved the Dubai Chocolate. But then I kinda lose that lovin' feeling a bit. The other desserts we ordered didn't knock my socks off and I felt the service was really lacking. If you order at your table and they serve you your desserts, why don't they at least bring napkins with it? Or maybe water? Are they a sit-down establishment like they look like they are or are they self-serve? I think they should decide to be one or the other. 3 stars is a bit too low and 4 stars feels too high. I'd give it a 3.5 stars if that existed
I've been to Cocomelt twice now - it's basically EVERY time that I come to Seoul Bites, I inadvertently find myself going to Cocomelt for coffee and dessert afterwards. I love their ambiance - we all know they made sure this was the hangout spot for the cool kids, and that you can take plenty of post-worthy selfies. That being said, the first time around the service was prompt, the food was delicious, especially the coffee, and it was an astounding experience. This time around, it was prime dinner/post-dinner time, there were only two people working, and the coffee was incredibly watered down. I tried their honey cake, and the taste was delicious, but the actual sponge was very CLEARLY stale, and that was bothersome, because price wise, this place is absolutely not cheap. I don't mind paying the price, but this time around the coffee was watered down (not even the same color) AND the cake was stale. The general ambiance, as always, was fantastic!
Shoutout to Malik! He's an excellent worker and incredibly personable! Everything at Cocomelt is halal, and I've brought many friends here; everyone leaves loving it. The food is delicious and flavorful, but the desserts and drinks are truly the stars. The chocolate is always rich, thick, and decadent, and the drinks are just as amazing. I especially love the pistachio kanafeh shake! It's so yummy, textured, and totally satisfying if you love drinks with toppings. Overall, Cocomelt is the perfect spot if you're looking for a high quality sugar rush. Delicious treats, amazing drinks, and friendly staff make it a must visit!
have you ever wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate?! This is was my first time here and I already know I'm going to be back! I've always wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate and I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on it here at Cocomelt! It was everything I expected and more. I also loved the vibes in here! There were so many people there hanging out with friends and family, you can definitely see that it's a well loved spot. I just wish there was more seating available, because it was a bit awkward waiting for a spot to sit down. Other than that, I look forward to coming back!

Let me tell you about this sweet paradise I found this past weekend. Cocomelt showed up on my IG feed a few weeks ago and I knew I had to go see the hype for myself! The inside is so cute, with tons of beautiful seating, and wall pieces. They have the viral Dubai chocolate but it was sadly out of stock when we went, but I will definitely be going back to try it out!! The service was great, we were in and out so quickly! They have tons of dessert options ranging from cake slices, croissants, crepes, waffles, and chocolate bars to coffees, teas, and milkshakes! Alright so we tried the lotus biscoff crepe - it was UNREAL YOU GUYS! There was biscoff crumbs, chocolate drizzle, it was just the perfect balance of flavors. I cannot wait to go back for more I'm still dreaming of it to this day!!! We also tried the kinder sushi roll which had kinder chocolate inside with a chocolate drizzle on top and chocolate dipping sauce on the side. Definitely a chocolate overload but if you're into that, this is your jam! This is the perfect dessert lounge with so many options and they have so much variety! So excited that a spot like this has opened up in the suburbs! 10/10 recommend!
Walked into this place and it is so cute! Very nice for Instagram pictures as well. It was pretty busy when we walked in. Quickly knew what we wanted to order so that made it easier. The staff was friendly. I ordered the kunafa croissant and knuafa bar....because everyone has been eating/trying it so you know...had to try it as well! I absolutely LOVED the croissant! It was not too sweet, the crunch was there, it was a perfect buttery croissant. The bar I thought was good but a little too sweet for my liking. It also melted really fast while holding it. Definitely will have to come back again to try out the other stuff on the menu and the drinks.
It's decent, lovely feminine ambience. Food is good, the crepe is light and airy. But if I compare it to "melt n dip " , I prefer the crepe at melt n dip a little more. The service is top tier though. Super friendly staff. Lots of seating inside.
Stopped here because I heard they are selling the Viral Dubai Chocolate Bar which didn't live up to the hype for me and the cost was $11! They have a self service kiosk setup for ordering and the customer service was good. The lounge has a nice pink ambiance and they also have a prayer room which is cool.
This was an amazing dessert place. Their Dubai Chocolate was very flavorful, and their crepes were all top level. I would highly recommend this place.

Food was ok, the proportions were not ideal, especially for the prices that they were set at. Worker was also not handling food nor beverages with gloves which is disgusting-- god knows where their hands have been. There was a lot of clutter around the main ordering station, empty bottles, fall filled bottles with no caps, unwiped counters, unwiped walls and just in general it was an unorganized environment. Also, the decor was dirty! Please DO NOT come here-- they don't prioritize hygiene. 1/10 experience Do better cocomelt read more
Beautiful over the top decor, open late, gotta get yourself a sweet treat! After my workout (same strip center as LA Fitness) I had a taste for a little something. Ended up with a simple Korean Dalgona ided coffee. Fresh made with oat milk (yay!) and sprinkled with powdered chocolate and coffee on top. Rich and cold and refreshing and decadent, perfect. (I saw the inside out crepe and it was a beautifully presented triangle of folded crepe with strawberries and whipped cream artfully arranged on top.) Family friendly, groups friendly. read more
The place is very stylish and beautifully decorated. Lots of opportunities for cute pics. The ice cream was the perfect texture- soft and not at all icy. The matcha was delicious and very high quality too. The women's restroom was a little dirty and foul-smelling. There was toilet paper strewn all over the floor. Loved Coco Melt! The ambiance is great -- spacious, clean, and perfect for hanging out. They have tons of drink and dessert options, and the Cookies n' Cream waffle I got was amazing. Definitely a fun spot to satisfy your sweet tooth! read more

The interior design is very pretty and modern with neon signs and fake plants which makes it a very cute cafe, however, it is severely overpriced for very average items. I got the pistachio latte and the good and bad part was it had chunks of real pistachio in it, but it was undrinkable bc there was so many chunks that I was almost choking on the amount. I drank only half because I got tired of filtering the liquid from the chunks with my teeth through the straw. The latte was $9. I also got a chocolate croissant that was $7 that had barely any chocolate filling and it was all dough. However, the service was nice and brought out our items to our table, but I will not be coming back. read more

Gorgeous atmosphere, very cute place to sit - the acoustics aren't great for a conversation though because you can hear absolutely everything from surrounding tables. The food is tasty but overpriced. You get a lot of chocolate with your crepe but the eggs benny is mostly cilantro. Still delicious though! Service is more or less nonexistent but they were busy so I get it. read more

5 stars. This is that cute instagram spot, great late night treat. Meetup with friends or just date night. If you enjoy chocolate this is the spot! I really enjoyed the crepes and chill vibes. My favorite crepe with the pistachio one with the crunchy noodles inside. The service was good and welcoming. read more
Cocomelt is in a nice large plaza with plenty of parking. They have a lot of decadent desserts, but we mainly went for tea & coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, my go-to beverage, and my wife ordered a Kashmiri chai. On a whim I decided to order a slice of tres leches cake, as well. The cappuccino had a very air, light milk foam on it, not rich and dense like some other coffee shops (such as Sparrow). That was disappointing. My wife enjoyed the Kashmiri chai. Both drinks were served in nice mugs. As for the cake, it didn't come out with our drinks. I went back to the register and reminded them about it. By the time it eventually came out, I was already done with my coffee, so we just took a few bites and got a to-go box to bring it home. The cake was pretty good, but not the best tres leches I've had. The inside of Cocomelt is large and looks very fancy. Definitely good for the Instagram and TikTok folks. Pricing was on the higher end, which was expected. The cake slice alone was $10. Service left something to be desired. read more

After following Cocomelt on social media for months, I finally visited for the first time and the desserts did not disappoint! The woman who greeted us was very friendly and patient. We went on a Friday afternoon shortly after opening, and it was just us in the whole place. It seemed like they were still setting up for the day and cleaning from the night before, so the display case was empty and we didn't get to see anything before ordering. But the desserts we ordered were delicious and I would definitely come back. The prices are a bit high, but since I haven't been to many specialty dessert lounges, it might be the norm read more

Out of all the tea places on Roosevelt Road, Cocomelt has the best Dubai vibe. The place is so cute and decorated in the best pink and gold vibes. The seats are plush and cozy. A corner in this cafe seems perfectly intimate. You can order straight from your table and the servers brought it to our table fast. The crepes are good just like other dessert crepe places. However, the prices are high. One crepe ran us $20. The tea is also expensive but it is huge portions. I would suggest service drinks in smaller sizes for reduced prices. I would definitely come here with my friends or on a date night, place does not give family feels. read more

One of the cutest cafes out there. Actually, it's the cutest I've seen. The colors and atmosphere is really nice. The food and refreshers are delicious, everything inshā'Allah good. If you're looking for a healthier option, try the watermelon refresher. It's straight up watermelon. Overall, it's such a nice addition to Lombard and highly encourage you all to go. read more

I visited this coffee and crepe spot recently and while the crepes were genuinely good--fresh, well-made, and flavorful--the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the poor customer service. From the moment we sat down, our table had dirty dishes left over from the previous guests. Despite multiple polite requests to different staff members, no one came to clear the table. We ended up sitting through our entire visit surrounded by someone else's mess, which really dampened the overall atmosphere. It's a shame, because the food has real potential. If the management could match the quality of the food and the aesthetic of the place then it would be legendary and maybe had a more Muslim atmosphere then it would be good. read more

Customer service was nice. Indoor decor was impressive!! Definitely a spot I would go to study or bring family here. I got the inside out crepe and it was delicious, but I wish there were more strawberries on it. read more
