Love this little place! I got an iced Matcha with oat milk and lavender cold foam that was so delicious. The location is great just off the Prairie path and there is outside seating available

Cute coffee shop in downtown Villa Park area! We were drawn to this place as it was open a little later than the other coffee shops on Sunday and we wanted a place to hang with family before heading to the airport. Love the coziness and welcoming feel of Villa Perk. It is very clean and the coffee is gooood. I ordered an espresso over ice with a splash of half & half. It was the right amount of strong. My sister and mom enjoyed their gluten-free blueberry muffins and chips. Loved the unique touches of this coffee shop. They pay homage to the historic Ovaltine factory that used to anchor the area. So interesting! There is a special Ovaltine Crème item on the menu as well. I can pretty much hear the "rich, chocolate Ovaltine" from the commercials as I spotted that item.

Loved my visit to Villa Perk! After seeing such rave reviews on this spot, I wanted to stop in and see for myself. Their menu is simple but covers all bases for coffee, tea, frappuccinos, and more! They also offer a couple of bakery good. There was quite a bit of areas for seating to work while you enjoy, catch up with friends, or even enjoy some solo time. The staff working was so incredibly sweet to me with answering my questions, telling me their most popular items, and giving their recommendations. I ended up ordering an Iced Vanilla Lavender Latte which was made speedy and fresh. It had the perfect amount of ice to keep my drink cold but not water down my drink. Overall, I left feeling like this is such an intentional, neighborhood coffee gem. I will certainly be back to try other menu items but especially the banana bread latte when weather cools off!

A cute coffee shop just off the prairie path in Villa Park. The staff was friendly and they have a lot of fun different coffees. I went with the Iced Oatmilk Banana Bread Latte. It was a little on the sweeter side, but definitely enjoyed it! They have street parking directly outside but expect to parallel park (my nemesis) or just a little down the way there is parking next to the old Villa Park Avenue Train Station.

I was a little bit nervous because the line was long when I went in this morning however, the staff behind the bar got through it so efficiently. I don't even think I will spend 10 minutes in the line and that is including, not only ordering my beverage, but also having my beverage in hand at the end of the bar, ready to go. I opted to get the banana bread latte with regular milk, although the menu says it comes with oat milk and I also purchased a ham and cheese croissant which looks divine the banana bread latte which I got ice is really good however, I think they could use a little bit more flavor or like a cold foam on top to really bring it over the edge. The interior of the coffee shop it is small, but there is plenty of seating so you can sit with a friend or sit at a table and do some studying or reading in a quiet environment. The cost of everything was around average for what you pay for around in the area so I would definitely go back again. It is next to the train track and the biking trail so there are a lot of people stopping in on their bike ride so I wouldn't be surprised if some hours are busier than others. But I can't wait to come back again cause this is very delicious

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was a little busy but no one in line. Waited about 5 minutes for coffee. I got a decaf vanilla iced latte. It was pretty good. Next time i'm going to try the s'mores latte. Inside it's really clean and the workers are very informative

Happy to have found Villa perk coffee co. The not only deliver a nice selection of your coffee house favorites. But a Great greeting and a genuine smile that says they want to be there. Inside you will find nice cozy. Room full of conversation and fun things to look at on walls. Not 100% sure if it's every Sunday but was surprised to even get to enjoy some live jazz.

I'm OBSESSED! This location has so many fun flavors to try out. However, given that they are a stone's through from the old Ovaltine factory, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they embrace the local history and offer up Ovaltine lattes! I had an iced one and it was such a delight!

Enjoyable experience and attentive staff. Easy access to Metra and neighboring shopping areas.

Cute coffee shop, but I would not go out of my way to visit if I was not in the neighborhood. We got a cappuccino and a white chocolate mocha. Service was quick and nice.

Literally stumbled upon this place after shopping at Oak Brook mall! I'm a huge sucker for cozy coffee shops and even bigger sucker for one that has ample parking spots outside. This shop had it all! I decided to get the Ovaltine latte and a cheese danish and it was literally the best decision ever. The only suggestion I would've made was maybe heating up the danish cause that would've been a game changer. Still a great place to get some good coffee!

I purchased a few a donuts to go and tried their Mango Lassi and Ube flavored ice creams. From their donuts selection, I got a Tropical Mango, a Biscoff, a Maple Bacon and a Oreo Cake donuts. The ice cream flavors were tasty. The Mango Lassi was better between the two. It captured the taste of Lassi nicely. I have had better Ube flavor ice cream elsewhere. As for the donuts, they were nice in general but a bit too sweet for my liking (except for the Oreo Cake one). My favorite donut was the Oreo Cake one followed by the Tropical Mango one. Overall, I had a nice experience. I recommend checking out Sweet Circle, if you haven't before.

They offer deals on half and full dozens. The staff was friendly, and the music gets you jumping.

Let me start by saying that we're a huge fans of small businesses and want to see them succeed…read more I've also worked in plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in my day. Definitely not trying to be a hater. My friend and I were on our way home from Chicago, looked up some bakeries along our route. We stopped here to get some goodies to take home to family, and to snack and have a coffee while we drove 6 hours. My friend ordered: white chocolate coconut latte, 2 donut holes, a strawberry, a salted caramel, and a pink velvet cupcake. I ordered: chocolate pretzel iced latte, a big chocolate chip cookie, tropical fruit (?) danish, coconut, pink velvet, and French silk cupcakes. I'd say between the two of us we probably spent $60+? Walking in the shop is adorable and colorful, an employee had a brightly colored tie dye shirt on and we said hello to them first, commented on how much we liked their shirt, and barely got a response back, let alone a greeting. The employee at the counter wasn't rude but definitely not overly eager to greet or offer up information. Questions were answered when we asked, that was it. When I received my iced latte I asked if they had any straws and just got a head shake in response. Totally fine with no straw, but my friend found a stir stick for me, which was honestly the main reason I wanted a straw so I could stir up what was clearly sitting on the bottom of the cup. Lattes were fine. We tried the chocolate chip cookie in the car and the texture was good, crispier on the edges and the middle was chewy enough. But it tasted very bland, so we didn't finish it. A little while later we decided to try the donut holes, they had good flavor but they were so dry and crumbly, presumably because they were sitting out in the open air, who knows for how long. Also didn't finish those. Even later we decided to try the salted caramel cupcake because I'd read on the case that they had Swiss meringue buttercream so I was really excited about that, and thought for sure this would be where they would excel. While the flavor of the cake was fine, I wouldn't say it tasted like salted caramel, there was some kind of cream in the middle that was good, again not salty or caramely. But that was the heaviest, most dense cupcake I've ever had, and not in a good way. The buttercream was good, and the caramel drizzle on top did taste salty. My husband was so excited that I was bringing home that tropical fruit danish and the coconut cupcake. We tried the coconut cupcake together and again, it had a lot of actual coconut in the batter, it was dense but also dry. We abandoned the cake and ate buttercream, which was good but not coconutty. So we moved onto the French silk cupcake. This cake had a great texture, light and soft, good flavor, some kind of chocolate mousse in the middle was good too. Again, good buttercream, but the top had a bunch of dry, flavorless pie crust chunks all over it. I understand that it was supposed to mimic a French silk pie, but it was such a good cake without the crust chunks. My husband had his pastry today (next day) and though dry he said the middle was good, other than the pineapple in the middle he couldn't taste any other flavor. We tried the pink velvet after dinner tonight and again with the super heavy and dense cake texture, no real flavor, but the cream cheese frosting was yummy. I cannot say how the other cupcakes were, as my friend was so disappointed in the one we shared and the report we gave her about the ones we tried, that she hasn't eaten them. Ultimately the French silk one was the only item that was eaten completely. Keep making that buttercream, it was the best part of everything we bought. I sincerely hope your employees weren't having a hard day, I try to be understanding that you never know what someone is going through, but that's the only reason I can think of for them to be so completely disinterested in helping or talking to paying/tipping/polite customers.

Needed a pick me up and knew Courageous Bakery is what I needed. I've been getting The Lorraine…read moresince high school and it never disappoints. I'd go so far as to say it's the best breakfast sandwich in Elmhurst. I would order it without the greens since I personally don't like how soggy they get on the sandwich. Tried the dirty chai for the first time and dare I say it may be better than a certain local coffee shop's. I do think $22 for a sandwich and coffee is a bit expensive, but I'm always very satisfied with my meal. It does come with a large side of home fries, but I usually end up not eating them, so I'd love to see more side options to choose from. Also had cupcakes catered a few months back including some gluten free options and they were all a big hit. Definitely on the expensive side, but they were good quality and absolutely devoured. The environment is always welcoming and open plus the staff are very kind.
