Cute coffee shop in downtown Villa Park area! We were drawn to this place as it was open a little later than the other coffee shops on Sunday and we wanted a place to hang with family before heading to the airport. Love the coziness and welcoming feel of Villa Perk. It is very clean and the coffee is gooood. I ordered an espresso over ice with a splash of half & half. It was the right amount of strong. My sister and mom enjoyed their gluten-free blueberry muffins and chips. Loved the unique touches of this coffee shop. They pay homage to the historic Ovaltine factory that used to anchor the area. So interesting! There is a special Ovaltine Crème item on the menu as well. I can pretty much hear the "rich, chocolate Ovaltine" from the commercials as I spotted that item.
Loved my visit to Villa Perk! After seeing such rave reviews on this spot, I wanted to stop in and see for myself. Their menu is simple but covers all bases for coffee, tea, frappuccinos, and more! They also offer a couple of bakery good. There was quite a bit of areas for seating to work while you enjoy, catch up with friends, or even enjoy some solo time. The staff working was so incredibly sweet to me with answering my questions, telling me their most popular items, and giving their recommendations. I ended up ordering an Iced Vanilla Lavender Latte which was made speedy and fresh. It had the perfect amount of ice to keep my drink cold but not water down my drink. Overall, I left feeling like this is such an intentional, neighborhood coffee gem. I will certainly be back to try other menu items but especially the banana bread latte when weather cools off!
Love this little place! I got an iced Matcha with oat milk and lavender cold foam that was so delicious. The location is great just off the Prairie path and there is outside seating available
Found references online to being dog friendly however we went in with Maggie our micro goldendoodle puppie and were asked to leave. She made a very soft whimper sound and we were told we were bothering the other customers and asked to leave. The only people we were bothering was the staff, no customer said or did anything to indicate we were a bother. DOG FRIENDLY "NOT"!!!!
A cute coffee shop just off the prairie path in Villa Park. The staff was friendly and they have a lot of fun different coffees. I went with the Iced Oatmilk Banana Bread Latte. It was a little on the sweeter side, but definitely enjoyed it! They have street parking directly outside but expect to parallel park (my nemesis) or just a little down the way there is parking next to the old Villa Park Avenue Train Station.

I don't even think I will spend 10 minutes in the line and that is including, not only ordering my beverage, but also having my beverage in hand at the end of the bar, ready to go. I opted to get the banana bread latte with regular milk, although the menu says it comes with oat milk and I also purchased a ham and cheese croissant which looks divine the banana bread latte which I got ice is really good however, I think they could use a little bit more flavor or like a cold foam on top to really bring it over the edge. The interior of the coffee shop it is small, but there is plenty of seating so you can sit with a friend or sit at a table and do some studying or reading in a quiet environment. The cost of everything was around average for what you pay for around in the area so I would definitely go back again. It is next to the train track and the biking trail so there are a lot of people stopping in on their bike ride so I wouldn't be surprised if some hours are busier than others. But I can't wait to come back again cause this is very delicious
Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was a little busy but no one in line. Waited about 5 minutes for coffee. I got a decaf vanilla iced latte. It was pretty good. Next time i'm going to try the s'mores latte. Inside it's really clean and the workers are very informative
Happy to have found Villa perk coffee co. The not only deliver a nice selection of your coffee house favorites. But a Great greeting and a genuine smile that says they want to be there. Inside you will find nice cozy. Room full of conversation and fun things to look at on walls. Not 100% sure if it's every Sunday but was surprised to even get to enjoy some live jazz.

I've been here twice and truly this is the only coffee shop around the west Chicago elmhurst neighborhood that I can recommend. The baristas are actually nice and have good recommendations and can customize drinks as you need. The place is bustling there's always people here. The drinks are honestly great. The blueberry muffin matcha is pretty good, and dare I say the iced caramel machiatto is even better. Any cafe that not only has the full-length version of Time by Pink Floyd on their playlist but allows it to play all the way through automatically wins. The delicious iced Ovaltine signature drink made the victory absolute though. Loved the relaxed atmosphere of this place so much that I ended up sitting down for a little while instead of rushing off to the store like I had originally planned. Staff were friendly and the music selections were just perfect for enjoying a great drink while the afternoon sun poured in through the front window. I don't find myself in Villa Park too often but I'm looking forward to the next time that I am. read more

Literally stumbled upon this place after shopping at Oak Brook mall! I'm a huge sucker for cozy coffee shops and even bigger sucker for one that has ample parking spots outside. This shop had it all! I decided to get the Ovaltine latte and a cheese danish and it was literally the best decision ever. The only suggestion I would've made was maybe heating up the danish cause that would've been a game changer. Still a great place to get some good coffee! read more

Stumbled upon Villa Perk Coffee on my friend's IG story and she said it was the cutest local place. Love finding out about new local shops and I knew I had to check it out for myself! It is located on a corner in downtown Villa Park, near the train tracks. There is street parking and a parking lot nearby. The coffee shop is clean and inviting. I ordered a white chocolate raspberry mocha latte and a croissant stuffed with herb goat cheese. Though there was only 1 employee at the time making and taking coffee orders, Brandon held down the fort in a professional manner. I didn't mind the wait as I wanted to sit and enjoy my first VP coffee. I sat in a little nook hidden behind a post, popped my air pods in and turned on my show. First sip of my coffee and my eyes lit up. IT WAS SO SO GOOD! The coffee was so smooth and perfectly balanced in sweetness from the raspberry. It was love in a cup! I immediately texted my sister about Villa Perk because she loves a good local coffee shop too. (Two days later we came back, she really liked the ice caramel macchiato) The flaky croissant made for the perfect afternoon treat! There are also a variety of treats like muffins, donuts, and cake pops to cure the sweet tooth too. I will definitely be making frequent visits to Villa Perk as I'd like to try many more drinks on their menu! read more

I'm always searching for cute coffee shops, and I found one in Villa Perk. Located in the downtown area of Villa Park. There is a cozy little sitting area in the front of the shop with couches, and some more tables and chairs towards the back. The shop has an industrial but cozy feel to it. The menu offered a great variety, with seasonal drinks as well. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and it was so smooth and refreshing. The coffee taste was strong but not overly strong. My sister ordered a white chocolate raspberry latte. It was delicious! I also ordered the herb goat cheese danish. It felt more like a croissant to me, which I still love. It was a soft delicious treat to accompany my drink. The staff were friendly and delivered our drinks to us at the table instead of having us get from the designated pick up area. Overall, a quaint, cozy coffee shop that I will definitely be coming back to! read more
Great coffee, better staff. Lovely coffee spot with treats and seating in a relaxed environment. Crew is so helpful! This is what a coffee spot should be- just coffee, no politics, unlike the shops in our neighboring town where you're hit with all their slogans and viewpoints and barely any coffee. This is the perfect neighborhood coffee spot! They have artisanal drinks galore. My favorite is the Ovaltine Latte - it's an ode to the big Ovaltine factory (now loft apartments) next door. A latte with homemade malt syrup and a double of actual Ovaltine on top. Delightful! They only have nibbles- cake pops, donuts and croissants so don't come looking for a full meal. They've always got people inside and there's always a little line. That's the sign of a great coffee place right? Patrons! All the people working as baristas are lovely! They always comment "great to see you back" which really gets that neighborhood feel/vibe:) read more

A coworker of mine posted a picture of Villa Perk Coffee on her social media and I knew I had to check it out. I was especially intrigued because I work in the area and had never hard of the coffee shop. I love discovering local coffee shops so I decided to stop by the next morning on my way to work. It is in downtown Villa Park, near the train tracks. The place is very clean and welcoming. It is definitely a spot where you can sit down for a few hours and get some work done. The workers were very friendly, making conversation and recommending drinks. I decided to go with a plain black coffee. It was a solid brew of coffee, much better than chain coffee shops. As I was entering the space, a man was delivering baked goods. It took so much self control not to order a few with my drink. I went back a few days later and ordered a vanilla latte made with oat milk. It was delicious! I always appreciate when the vanilla flavor is more natural verses the artificial kind. The latte was smooth and rich in coffee flavor as well. They also have some speciality drinks (Ovaltine latte I believe, as Ovaltine originated in Villa Park). I will definitely be back to try it out, as well as the other drinks and pastries! Villa Perk Coffee is definitely a much needed and welcomed spot in the area! read more
