It was fine. When I stopped in I think the menu board was not working because it only had a few things listed, certainly not their full menu. But I didn't have time to look up a menu elsewhere so I just got an iced tea. It wasn't bad, I just wish I'd been able to see the fuller menu so I could have picked something else. They do have some house specials, but all of them seem to be coffee-based so I skipped them. It's a large place, but the key for me is that they had a drive-through which is unusual to find around here unless it's a Starbucks or Dunkin. If in Westchester and want to support a business that's not Starbucks I'd give it a try. read more

Their iced "miel" coffee is very good! This is one of the only coffee shops where I feel the coffee is actually strong. Their breakfast burrito was very good but they recently changed the recipe a bit & it's not the same. They had two different burritos before and kind of merged both into one. Kind of disappointed about that because it doesn't taste the same but I definitely will keep going back for their iced coffee. Their donuts are also very good! The staff is always very helpful and nice and the place is cute and cozy with comfortable seating. read more

One of my newest favorite coffee/cocktail bar located in Westchester IL. So, glad this coffee/cocktail bar assistance close in my area. Casual shop that offers breakfast, donuts, coffee, cocktails etc. They even have a drive-thru if you don't feel like getting out of the car. Mini bar to sit and sip on a cocktail. Couch seating area and as well as tables to enjoy the atmosphere. They even have a Happy Hour during the week for your to enjoy some special hand-made drinks. What a hidden gem in Westchester and opens at 630a! Robust coffee and tea options and the breakfast sandwich was off the chain and they could sub for non-dairy milk and gluten free bread. Cute little spot! Unfortunately, I was unable to stay and sit and chill at one of their comfy looking tables. There are plenty of seats available and even outlets available. The coffee shop has a decent amount of parking as well. Service was super friendly. Drinks were served quickly. I went with a cold brew and it was tasty. Aviator is located in a great spot and is super large. I love the aspect of there being a drive thru as well as an inside lounge. Spacious inside with WiFi and super cute decor. You can tell it's still a baby. There's a mini bar there as well. Encompasses the whole nine. I thought my sandwich was pretty tasty. My only suggestion would be to add more of the sauce/ condiment to the sandwich as it was a little dry in areas. Decent size for the price paid ($7.99). The Purple Palmer was really great which surprised me as I don't like lemonade. However, there was a perfect balance of sweetness to pair with the acidity of the lemonade. I enjoyed my time checking this place out but I rated it four stars as the wait time was pretty insane. The drinks come out quick but the food tastes forever. read more

Stopped in after a hike this morning in a nearby park. It's a big coffee shop; it looks like an old Starbucks with the signage still up. The staff immediately greets you when you come inside. I ordered a small hot coffee (black) and a caesar wrap. The coffee was okay, but the wrap was good. Prices are competitive. They have comfortable indoor seating to relax in. read more

At first glance this coffee lounge is clean and inviting. Simple decorations and ample seating just to relax and enjoy your delicious coffee. I had one of their most popular coffees on their menu, a Miel and one of their more popular breakfasts, the Monterey Breakfast Burrito. Both were really good! But I think I loved the Miel the most as it had hints of cinnamon and honey and was very tasty. Service was good. The barista was nice and friendly and provided great customer service. :) read more

I love to visit local businesses and Aviator Coffee is seriously an awesome gem right here in Westchester! Their signature coffee, lavender flavored ~ chef's kiss!! Such a subtle flavor and delicious. But the breakfast sandwich - you have got to try ALL of them! The egg and cheese on a fresh biscuit, the aioli, perfect and my fav. My husband and I sat inside, chill vibe, decorated modern but comfy. When I have visita, this is the place I take them to! Great local coffee spot on Westchester area. I tried the Salted Caramel Cold Brew and it didn't need anything to supplement. There's plenty of seating and it had some great 90s R&B playing on a Sunday morning! There were plenty of people there and it wasn't obnoxiously loud, thankfully. They really made this place look great. It's clean and beautiful inside. There's also a drive through. They brew their own coffee and it's delicious. They also sell coffee grinds/beans. Saw this new coffee spot and decide to stop by. I was warmly greeted and allowed ample time to review the menu and make my selection. Im usually a black coffee or americano fan but I decided to try one of their signature drinks. I ordered the Chai Mocha, which contained espresso, chai, chocolate sauce and milk. (I opted for almond milk.) It was very tasty. The shop was very clean, there were tables where you could sit by yourself and areas where groups could sit. There is also a small bar area. As a faithful Dunkin girl...I must say the sandwich was delicious. The bagel was fresh and a normal size. The salmon portion was enough to fill me. Cost 12.00 The coffee was ok. It has a decent taste but too light for me. I'm use to a medium body blend. Day 1 I tried regular blend with hazelnut. I had to have another cup of something ekse immediately after drinking it. Day 2 I tried a dirty chai... taste yummy better body... cost 8 something Day 3 I got a regular blend with an espresso shot. I finally got what I needed but it was priced about 1.50 higher than my favorite spot. So 5 dollar-ish with a flavor syrup. Overall, great vibe. I can't wait until they get their cocktail license. Decent coffee if you like light (water like) coffee. Note* it doesn't taste like water but cowboy coffee drinkers (black coffee) want something a little heavier. Food I would return for another sandwich. You can get some work done if you wanted to hang out. Im not sure about wifi but they have a rewards program. A perk for sure. I say try it for yourself. Supporting smaller local businesses is preferred over larger corps. It gives Westchester something else to look forward too in our small town. read more

The wait was the least of my worries, I waited only to get a half cooked spicy chicken sandwich that cost $10. Nice selection of unique coffee drinks, served either hot or cold. The cake doughnut is the real deal, it was crispy on the outside and had all these nooks and crannies (the best way to describe it). I met a friend there for coffee. I decided to try the breakfast burrito. DON'T! It was tasteless and cooked horribly and that was in a microwave. To the owners if you can't make the food come out really tasting well don't serve it. Better to have less on the menu then some bad food. The staff was really nice, the coffee good and my friend had a muffin I believe and said it was good. Really like the atmosphere, really open and airy. Turn the music down!!! We could barely hear each other over it. It was mid-morning and there was 1 or 2 other tables occupied. This was not a rock concert. People come there to talk, have coffee or just sit and relax. Getting blasted with music is for another venue. I'll try it again but if the same problems I won't go back. This stuff is easy to fix in a beautiful setting. read more

Taller gentleman with glasses and tattoos made a killer iced latte. Whoever is dishing out the Monterrey breakfast burritos needs to be featured in a Gordon Ramsey special cause I'll tell you what, that thing was delishhhhh. The most inconsistent place I think I've ever been too. If you go on a good day, the iced latte is good and your breakfast sandwich is made right and very tasty. If you go on a bad day, your caramel iced latte tastes burnt and not at all like caramel and they are out of half the menu items. It's not cheap, so when they get your order wrong or coffee tastes like crap, it's super disappointing. 50/50 shot when you go if it's worth it or not. read more

Great little gem! Fantastic customer service - the two employees I interacted with seemed GENUINELY interested in me and my adult son, and this is the primary reason I will return. I can get coffee, a sandwich, or a salad at lots of places, but I rarely receive the attention to serving the clientele like a valued human being, and not just as a wallet. The employees made a CONNECTION with us. This is, in my opinion, something that really sets Aviator Coffee in Westchester apart from its competitors.
