Their menu often changes but consistently includes pretzel bites, wings, salad, burgers, sandwiches (and a banh mi), and big plates. Pork Lumpia $14 - Tasty filling and beautifully wrapped. Pork Adobo Bowl $22 - Good flavors and variety in this bowl. I was sad to have missed the ube flavored beer, but the strawberry whip I tried was interesting. I started with the Solstice Spritz -- he mentioned it was on the sweeter side, and it honestly had the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Not overly sugary, just really well done. For an appetizer, we got the best (in my opinion), the wild mushroom toast. This location uses softer bread compared to others, and the appetizer had a slight kick to it that made it even better. Definitely a standout dish. I also tried the espresso martini, which was made with Baileys. It was strong but good -- smooth with that rich espresso flavor coming through. For my entrée, I had the butternut squash risotto. It was okay, but I felt like it could've used a bit more sauce or an extra layer of flavor. I ended up adding more parmesan, which helped elevate it a little. The inside of this location is really nice -- different from the other locations I've been to, but in a good way. The ambiance definitely added to the experience.

The girls shopped at the boutique next door as we enjoyed watching Elmhurst pass by. Beers were ice cold and the spritzers were perfect. I had the pot roast dip sandwich with fries. This was our third visit to Modern Plate and I think the food keeps getting better! The Only negative was the electric scooters and bikes flying by the outside tables and past the signs saying please walk your wheels. Don't let that deter you the place is fantastic, just be careful when you cross the sidewalk, or sit inside at the impressive bar!

The space is clean, enticing, and as the name implies, modern. The service was very friendly, and the manager stopped by to check in twice. The group agreed that the drinks were not great. The cocktails tasted off and the sodas had no carbonation. Would definitely come back!

When I went on a Sunday evening to pick up, it was a modern, cleanly designed interior with several tables of patrons dining in. The carry-out service was pretty quick as I live about ten minutes away, so the food was ready in a little less than twenty minutes. The crab Rangoons we shared were super stuffed, but I wished there was a little bit more tang in the sweet and sour sauce. All in all, we enjoyed this meal and will be frequenting it often for pho!

I noticed they do get busy of a lot of takeout. This is a local chain as they have one in Hoffman Estates. They are attached to a strip mall, so there are plenty of parking. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. You can order off the menu or they now have a digital dine in QR code as well. They have music in the back ground They also sell smoothies and bubble tea here They have variety of pho has a good equal of noodles and ingredients with soup and sometimes if I have a lot of soup, I would ask to bring it home so that I can freeze it and add rice noodles at home :) They have lunch specials here as well as Vietnamese sandwiches. I also tried their appetizers, which are spot on as well. My favorite is the lemongrass fried chicken wings and their steamed shrimp wontons and you can ask if you want the spicy sauce or no spicy. Overall a nice place to go when you have a taste for something different than going to a typical Chinese restaurant. I will come back here again!
