What can I say? It's a funky joint with pretty damn Good coffee, friendly service and an eclectic regular always there to tell you about other food spots nearby. Sign the mannequin with your dirt and enjoy.

    in love with this drum-clock!

Cutest little shop, I love the artsy-funky jazz ambiance. They have instruments in the back, and paintings on wall. Such a great atmosphere! The man behind the counter was the sweetest and even recommended the bakery next door! Absolutely love to see it. Great customer service too. Overall very cute place. Affordable and coffee is worth the price.

Loved the instant video I got walking in here. Nice folks....greeted me when I walked in. I think it was my cubbies sweatshirt that got me accepted .. The owner started sharing the local businesses around next to him.....thats the old school way...promote your neighbor not tear em down...had already stopped by the donut shop next door. Went to the meat place on his word only. This ain't bout them tho. They even had a band Section! Great shop...will be back.

First time going, so we asked him to make us whatever. He was super nice and made us great coffee! The art in there is awesome too. Definitely worth checking out and supporting local!

If I were to describe this place in one word it would be: outstanding! The coffee? Outstanding. The atmosphere? Outstanding. The owner? Outstanding. The decor? Outstanding. I would 100% recommend this local business to anyone in or around the area! I'm not from around here, but I am nearby quite often-- you bet I will be a new regular here. It is a lovely place to sit and chat with the owner, or sit to myself and do a little journaling! I could just keep going, but I will just leave you with the strong words of encouragement to head on over!! Besides, what's better than a $3.50 delicious iced latte? Nothing!

I wanted to like this place since it is a local place, but it isn't that great. Walking in they had a cute sign outside, however when you enter the Coffee house it is quite dark inside. There were some regulars inside reading and drinking some coffee. There are board games that you can play with friends and there is art you can view along the wall which is pretty neat. The girl working behind the counter was very nice, and gave me suggestions as I looked at the menu. I ended up getting a hot chocolate as well as a Funkaccino with chocolate. The hot chocolate tasted as if it just came from your standard Swiss Miss packaging unfortunately. The Funkaccino was an ice blend with chocolate syrup and left an odd after taste when I take a break from drinking the iced beverage. I ended up throwing it out because the after taste was just not doing it for me.

The vibe was on point as soon as I walked in. Locals chatting it up, free smells, and local artwork everywhere you look. Funky Java not only serves great coffee, but they also constantly support and encourage members of their community. It is a great space to relax, study, or get together with a group of friends. The owner and barista is always giving his customers the best experience, it is impossible to not smile in this establishment. Thank you Funky Java for making the small town of Villa Park a happier place.

The ambience is unmatched--cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. My husband and I used to live nearby, and some of our favorite memories are walking over on weekends with our pup, grabbing coffee, and sitting out front just enjoying the moment. I recently visited the Elmhurst Craft location for an event and had one of those experiences that just sticks with you. I was chatting with a barista about how much I love (and deeply miss!) the Equinox. She mentioned she was newer and hadn't tried it, but saw it in the recipe book and agreed it sounded amazing--which, for the record, it absolutely is (or was ). A little while later, she came running up to me asking if I was the one talking about the Equinox. When I said yes, she surprised me with an Equinox sticker she had dug up. Such a small, simple gesture--but it genuinely meant so much and made my entire night. To the Brewpoint leadership team: that moment alone earned my loyalty for life. Customer service like that is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. I didn't catch her name, but I was there Thursday, March 19 between 6-8 PM at the Craft location--she was running the sample table and sharing the carrot cake latte (which, by the way, was incredible). Please pass along a huge thank you and some well-deserved recognition--she truly made an impact. And one last thing... BRING BACK THE EQUINOX!! Pretty please

They still had the same coffee menu, seasonal drinks, and baked good offering; but, felt a lot more like a neighborhood destination. I ended up ordering coffee for my work team and all were impressed by the flavors! I got a Black Americano, Hot Borealis Latte, and the Whipped Carrot Cake Latte for myself. The Carrot Cake Latte may be a new all time favorite of mine! It wasn't too sweet but just leaned into the flavor profile enough. My coworker who had the Hot Borealis said it may have been her favorite latte she's tried. I also got the Herbed Goat Cheese Croissant which is familiar yet unique with the pop of savoriness. Overall, this was a great experience as a stop in when passing through the area. Brewpoint continues to have great flavors that leaves a lasting impression. Staff is friendly and pricing is fair.

And their tea is amazing! My favorite so far was in the fall, they had a maple flavored tea that was just the right sweetness and tasted like maple syrup without being overwhelming. I went back to buy another bag to gift a friend, THAT good. I tried a charcuterie board, I wasn't expecting to be able to pick my meat and cheese options so that was a really cool surprise. The selections were tasty, and I felt like it was a good value. I forgot to take pictures, but they do a nice looking spread! Every time I've gone, the folks working there have been really friendly and helpful if I have questions about anything on the menu. I've gone during work hours and after hours, it can get a bit busy during the day with people working there but they have a great large back area with plenty of seating - I have never gone and not been able to find a spot to sit. I do wish they had some more comfy seating. The chairs at the tables are all metal, no cushion, so they aren't great to sit on for that long. In the front area there are wooden benches along the walls to sit on, and they do have some pillows you can use, but when you're there with someone and want to sit across from each other, one of you has to take the metal seat. Despite the seating, I still enjoy going - I've gone there to work, to sit and read, and it would be a chill place to setup a small tabletop game and enjoy a couple of hours with some good drinks, snacks, and friends.

My latte was mediocre at best. It wasn't very flavorful, and it wasn't very coffee forward, so I wonder if they use less shots of espresso than is standard or less strong espresso. The thing that bothered me most though was that the barista swirled my drink in front of me, it splashed all over out of the top and sides of the lid, and instead of fixing it or apologizing (or even just acknowledging it!!!!), he proceeded to hand it to me and said "have a great day!" I walked over with my baby in tow and cleaned it up myself. It was SO odd to me. The space is bright, there are plenty of seats, and parking is easy. Such a shame that I didn't like the actual latte more! :/
