Breakfast came and went in forty minutes, the waitress was ready to move us on in 30 minutes, but we pumped the brakes and asked for our second lemon burst cookie of the weekend, and it would've been nice to get the signal that we could linger. My sense is they're popular enough that turning tables is the priority, and I get it, Lorelai has a business to run, but it's the one thing that kept a great morning from being a perfect one. What would push it to five stars: let us sit with our coffee a little longer. We came back two days in a row, we clearly want to be here. Just let us stay.
