This place has a hipster feel, like it would fit right in the Wicker Park area, and coffee/bar concept is interesting but..that's all they got goin for them. My wife had an Ube latte & I ordered a Sea Salt Pistachio Honey Iced Latte, both were lacking in flavor and the coffee taste was not as strong either as if they didn't put enough espresso. Both drinks tasted watered down thus we will not be goin back.

This place was such a gem. It was very spacious with outside seating. The coffee was amazing, and the staff was friendly. I really liked that they also sold cocktails, but I was not able to try them this time around since we were not staying. I am looking forward to coming back.

Very cute cafe! Perfect spot to work remote from or meet up with friends. We came to cowork and there was plenty of seating and outlets available. The rose matcha latte was really good and light! The cafe gets pretty busy on weekdays with people working so you may need to share tables!

I stopped by early on a weekend morning, so they weren't terribly busy at the time. I picked up my first pumpkin cold brew of the season, which I thought was pretty good. Also loved that they had convenient (free) parking in the back, to make for a quick stop. Would stop by again if I was in the area

Looks like when I used to come here I was in a Yelp break! I haven't been here since prior to the pandemic. It's possible there's been a major change in that time, though--I don't remember them being a coffee and cocktails place back then! Now rebranded Brewpoint Craft, they sell wine and beer and a handful of spirits. They also have charcuterie boards or a cheese board available. There's a room in the back that used to be extra seating--and perhaps still is--but they may rent it for private events because it seemed like there was a party back there. They have one of those print stations that you sometimes see at coffee shops, which I'm not sure I remember from before but is super helpful, as someone who's printer is pretty finicky (and currently in a box somewhere to boot). It's unfortunate that there is not really a place for outdoor seating because it would be nice place to hang out, though there are garage-style doors so I'm sure it's pleasant in the warmer months.

Attended Brewpoint for the 1st time for a Yelp event! The staff were very knowledgeable & accommodating. They offering 2 cold brew samples & they were very good! I love coffee but not the taste. I was shocked that the cold brew did not a strong coffee flavor to it. I was actually able to enjoy without cream! The espresso cocktail that they offered was amazing!! Being new to the espresso martini life I am learning to appreciate the varieties!! Thank you for having me. See you soon!

Brewpoint Craft location is the perfect spot for a weekday remote work or weekend catch up with friends. They have quite a bit of tables between the front and back section spaced out for good acoustics. I also love the garage door they open to get fresh air inside. Their coffee and tea selection has good variety to let customers pick a go to classic or customize their own flavorings. Not a coffee or tea person? Stop by in the evening to try one of their cocktails! I love the innovation of relevance from morning to afternoon with the change in menu. This visit I got a honey lavender latte with oat milk as well as the herbed goat cheese croissant. My coffee was DELICIOUS and subtly strong. The flavors stood out and paired nicely with the coffee beans. The croissant was good but filling! My only complaint was that it could have been heated up longer as the inside cheese was still cold. Be sure to stop by and check out this location as well as their others!

    Atlas Signature Latte (almond milk)

Ordered the Atlas off their signature latte menu. I substituted almond milk so it was a much thinner drink (as you'd expect). Oat or regular milk would give you that creamier feel. I added an extra shot of espresso so the drink also was a little stronger but not overpowered by the espresso. I enjoyed it, espresso was great, not bitter and it actually feels like you drank coffee. Since this visit I have been back 3 times. I've also ordered the poetry and prose sig latte but I would say the atlas has a more chocolatey taste that I enjoyed.

Overall good! They get a big space inside that can host diverse events. I ordered a regular large latte and stayed there for study for a while. The coffee was ok, but they didn't do latte art, which is understandable since there were too many people ordering. It was quite busy, so I'd not recommend it as a place for work, but it should be a nice place to chat with groups.

The greatest most tasty and tongue tingling pumpkin spice latte I have ever had the chance to sip. This place knows laid back staff serving house crafted syrups, using original ideas like a molasses put into pumpkin, and providing larger sizes pumps up all the right plays for a winning combo. I was happily drinking all the way through awful traffic on my way back to Indiana. Wish Breakpoint was closer, this autumn menu gave me cozy warm vibes and sadly there was no one in my life at the time, or now, to double fist with. It is a lovely atmosphere too, big ceilings, wide room comfort, and enjoyable selection of food too from what I saw. An easy score for the greater Chicago land coffee and espresso grind!

Love the lattes here! I have had the borealis which is their sweetest drink. My favorite drink is the atlas with mocha and caramel. Service was fast!

What a wonderful coffee shop! It's pretty big inside, with lots of working space available and tons of windows/light. They have an array of whole bean coffee for sale, including a CBD one, which looked interesting. I ended up getting the Illusionist for home and it's been an incredible taste, it almost makes waking up early worth it. In the actual shop, there was an array of pastries and coffee options. I ended up getting an iced coffee and my partner bought a regular coffee. Both were quite powerful and gave us the afternoon boost we needed with the 6 month old who joined us on this adventure. The space was large enough that it wasn't too loud inside. The staff were quite friendly and the ambiance was cozy. Loved this experience and look forward to my next visit here!

Decided to try this coffee shop while in the area. Overall, it was okay--nothing special. We ordered an iced Borealis and an ube latte frappe with less ice. The ube frappe was disappointing, a bit watered down and lacking flavor. The Borealis was pretty decent, nice and strong with a hint of sweetness.

Sophia is the kind of manager you rarely come across -- young, approachable, and genuinely passionate about what she does, yet carrying herself with the quiet confidence of someone who's been doing this for decades. We grabbed seats at the bar and were lucky enough to try her newest cocktail creation, the Greek Dirty Martini, and wow -- it is a showstopper. A brilliant, creative twist on a classic that somehow feels both bold and perfectly balanced. It's already my new go-to, and honestly reason enough to come back. But what really sets Sophia apart is how she makes every guest feel seen. She came over to us at the bar, asked about our experience, and actually listened. No script, no rush -- just genuine care. You can feel her energy ripple through the entire staff too; the team is warm, attentive, and clearly inspired by her example. Sophia is the real deal. Remember her name -- because she's going places. This spot is lucky to have her, and we'll absolutely be back.

Portions were satisfying, and the presentation made the dishes look as good as they tasted. The restaurant has a clean, contemporary atmosphere that's comfortable for both casual meals and quick stops. Service was friendly and efficient, even during a busy period. Overall, Modern Plate is a solid choice for a flavorful and well-made meal. A bit more menu variety would make it even better, but I'd gladly return.

On a recent work night celebration with colleagues, we ended up here for a nice dinner. Beautifully outfitted, the service was spot on, and the food was for the most part really good. Key points for me for the honey and ricotta with bread - absolutely excellent! I ordered the Atlantic salmon, which came on a bed of tiny potatoes and broccolini absolutely what was expected, the flavors were indicative of light seasoning, and I can truly say I loved it. Needless to say, the food was fantastic. You can see the photo of my entrée below? It looks very inviting right? And indeed it was. One of my colleagues was kind enough to let me take a picture of his chicken bowl - which is below as well - and he pronounced it as pretty good. Coming from him that is high praise, indeed! The tomato bisque soup I had as an app? Pretty delicious - the only concern I would indicate was that it was just a tad too sweet, but otherwise it was served at the perfect temperature, and really hit the spot. Nicely done! So - will I bring hubby here? Yes, I think so. Definitely a worthwhile place for him to try for sure - and I will make plans to bring him here soon.

This place is unique distinct and different and I love it. One of the owners has some legitimate cocktail chops (finalist in season one of Mixology on Netflix) and is bringing his background and passion to Villa Park! You can also try his cocktail bar in Itasca called No School Tomorrow which is similarly different, delicious, and unquestionably a great time especially if you lived life in the 90's. How freakin lucky are we to have a gem like this in Villa Park! My only hope is that we don't blow it. Like any new restaurant they are refining menu items and working out kinks. Food and drinks are on the pricier side (they have a solid kids hot dog and fries option for $5 for kids though) but what is the going rate for Squid Ink?! It is also unlike anything else you will find in Villa Park or Western Suburbs, or really anywhere so I would say absolutely worth it. Staff is also ridiculously friendly and excited about their product. While they have awesome specialty cocktails that you will not find anywhere else (pozole spices in a cocktail?!) they are also great making any classic cocktail you can come up with. My one feedback for now would be to up the dish-ware if going with higher price items vs going with paper products. This might just be they are testing things out. I'm also excited to see some brunch options or perhaps coffee and pastries in the future to get the biker/ boozy brunchy weekenders with kids crowd.
