I come here at least once a week! I'm obsessed with how cute the place is and their amazing biscoff chai latte! I don't remember her game but the barista is always so sweet to me and she always makes my drink perfectly even when I ask her to make a cold foam she's never made before! I do feel is a little pricey when it comes to the bakery and sweet items but they are very tasty so when I have a great day I reward myself with one of their cake jars or mini cheesecakes and those are also amazing! read more

5 stars because they have large coffee options... Nice spot in Lombard great for business meetings, studying, or just getting you a quick coffee and pastry. Close at 10pm but if you need longer later hours a 1am tea shop is about a quarter mile down the road with good options also. Parking lot with plenty of parking. My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again. read more

First time at the Sweet Reserve Café with my wife and it is such a cozy little spot! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying some quiet time with a good cup of coffee. Their bakery items are fresh and delicious -- the pastries taste homemade and pair perfectly with their rich, smooth coffee. Service is friendly and attentive, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. Overall it's a wonderful café that's definitely worth visiting! read more

I went to this location because I didn't like the selection at the Winfield location. It looked like yesterday's product that didn't sell, and I got there right when they opened. But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sales person was pleasant and quick. This store is their biggest store, and they feed the Winfield and Schaumburg stores. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. It does have a limited selection of products but they were all pretty good. The brownies are very frudgey, just the way I like them. The cake pops are sweet, but a little dry. The cookie has a lot of chips in them. Overall, I liked the place. read more

This is an absolute favorite, from the drinks to the dessert to the savory items. Here is what we have tried and would happily repeat: 1) Drinks: mocha and pistachio latte 2) Dessert: pistachio tiramisu, gulab jamun cheesecake, chocolate macaron, pink/red velvet cake pop, chocolate cake pop, Opera cake, and Biscoff cheesecake 3) Lunch items: spinach Turkish bread, ground beef Turkish bread, tomato basil Turkish bread, cream of garlic chicken focaccia, chicken tikka twisted bread, and Chive, tomato and goat cheese quiche Service is helpful and friendly. Seating and parking is plenty. On a side note, the one downside is the bathrooms can use some tender loving care. It's important to everyone but especially to families with young children and/or seniors. read more

We stopped by after dinner to get dessert and coffee. The place is very cute and clean. We tried the Keylime card and that is leches cake in a cup as well as hibiscus tea and the white chocolate latte. The cake and a cup was in the runny. I didn't care too much for it, but the key was perfect! The girl that attended us was very patient and very informative and great with everyone that walked in. Definitely a place to come back and just chill and talk or take a little break from life. read more

First time to Sweet Reserve was a a success! The shop is set up in a way that makes is easy to work from a laptop or meet up with a group. I got the spinach feta Turkish bread. It was delicious. They do make it fresh so it'll take 8-10 mins to heat up. I got one of their special chias and it was delicious! If you're following GPS directions it may tell you to go to the center next door and drive around back. I'm not sure why but just ignore! It is in the front of the plaza and parking is available right out front! read more

Nice and quiet coffee shop. Lattes are good. Service is good. Try it. On Roosevelt Road in Lombard.

I want to say Thank You to Sweet Reserve, I have been a regular here for the last 30 days as I study for the Bar Exam. This place has stellar pastries, and I've fallen in love with the Shaken Espresso. I have sampled many of the items in the bakery case, do not miss out on the cookie butter cheese cake or the Dubai Choclate Brownie. The savory food items are delicious. The balsalmic glaze twisted bread is my favorite. For a morning savory treat you can not go wrong with the Quiche. I also want to say, the atmosphere is so quiet and a great place to study. I have spent hours in this establishment, the comfortable seating in the benches was just what I needed for long hours of studying. I will attribute my success on this test if passed to the Sweet Reserve Bakery. Also thank you to the staff, they have been so kind and friendly with every encounter, thank you for being a part of my journey read more

This place had been on my Yelp list to try for sometime. Positives Plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall Long hours. So many bakeries have short hours. They are even open in the evening. Lots of fun and tasty treats. I had a latte and raspberry Danish. They plated and warmed up my pastry. The shop is larger than it looks on the outside. Plenty of seating. Room for improvement It did take a little bit to get our food and drinks. For 2 coffees and 2 pastries it was about $25. read more

This new bakery taking over Chicagoland is a MUST! Some of the most delicious and unique pastries and breads! They have multiple locations, but I went to the Lombard one recently and LOVED IT! They even have cold and hot drinks, although I did not try a drink during my visit. I got their galub Juman cheesecake which was amazing! they also had a delicious saffron and rose infused tres leches cake and it was to die for! You can never go wrong with the almond croissant, which was fantastic as well. The counter service was great, the employees were passionate about their products. This is a beautiful contemporary bakery space with a unique design vibe that is worth the visit. Check it out! read more

Cute coffee place with great seating and excellent drinks. Service staff are helpful and friendly. The chai I ordered was wonderful. This place is so cute! The space expanding illusion of the mirrors is so effective that I really did think it was huge at first. The gluten-free items (just a few) will bring me back. Made with all the style and flair of a mojito from some joint with a velvet rope, it is a nicely balanced drink. read more

The lady is super rude and mean to customers. Needs to learn what customer service is and more important how to treat others. Cute bakery located in a strip mall. The place was busy but we were able to get a large table and chairs to fit us all on a Saturday night. We were driving down the road and saw this bakery! It has bright purple lights visible from the road. My husband loves bakeries so we stopped in to check this place out. Ann and Tess assisted us with our order and were very kind and professional. They have tiramisu, cupcakes, mini jar cakes, full size cakes, macarons, danish, coffee drinks... and more The prices are a little high but well worth every penny. We split the tiramisu and a raspberry cheese danish. The Tiramisu was so rich and the danish was sweet and sour and very tasty we loved them both! It was the perfect melt in your mouth texture! If your in the area stop in and check it out for yourself! The decorations are fun and bright and it is a great place to take pictures for your Instagram and Facebook pages! We will be back again when we are in the area! read more

Update 1/6/23. This piece gets really busy on the weekends especially after 8 pm. It looked like they were understaffed since there weren't a lot of silverware available. Seats were limited. It's still a great place to get desserts and I love how aesthetically pleasing they are. I would recommend going on a weeknight. This time I ordered gluten free chocolate torte, passion fruit cheesecake slice, key lime tart, and kashmiri chai. Everything was palatable. Gluten free chocolate torte was smooth and just a small amount of richness. You don't want it to be too rich, otherwise you'll feel full faster. Passion fruit cheesecake, you can immediately taste the fruit and it's not subtle at all. Key lime tart was very good, not as sour as you would think. Kashmiri chai I'll have to order again. Very savory and I love how there are pistachios in it. read more

Freshly make sweets and for affordable price. Got a key lime tart, ferrero brownie, tiramisu macaroon and a s'mores macaroon. Super flavor tart, zesty and the marshmallow on top was okay with it. The marshmallow went well the the brownie. The ferrero did a great job with the brownie. Brownie was super moist and the macaroons were super favorable. Also ordered a hot chocolate and tasted great not watered down read more

What an adorable and delicious bakery! The location couldn't be more perfect - it's tucked away in a strip right off the road with parking all in front. The first thing I noticed is this bakery is CLEAN. I mean right when you enter you're hit with the aroma of fresh baked goods and the sight of white, spotless tables with plants on the wall. There's so much room to sit inside, I absolutely love it. They have booths for days and a wall of old fashioned whisks which is a creative touch. The desserts here are unique, decadent, rich, sweet, and flavorful. I got the lavender cardamom latte and it was not too sweet, hot, and rich. The service here is impeccable; they were all so helpful and friendly. Sometimes it can be awko when you're the only one in a shop with a bigger staff *cue the silence when you walk into an empty store*, but this was not the case at Sweet Reserve. You will be greeted with a smile here and helped right away. Lots of people were also picking up cakes and other orders constantly during my time here. I will 100% come here again and I can't wait to try other dessert items! And I'm definitely getting my birthday cake this month from this bakery ;) read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Do go and check this place out. They have got amazing bakery items, cakes, cake bites and a LOTTTTT. I was overwhelmed to look at their menu and their display items. I was not able to decide what to take as i wanted to get everything. Guess what they have Gulab jamun cheesecake, RasMalai Cheesecake. I am sure all their items are super amazing. I got a box of Halloween cookies and order Kashmiri Chai. The girl at the counter was very sweet. She offered me to try the Kashmiri Chai before i could order. And yes it was amazing chai. So I ordered that too. They also do High Tea experience. They have individual booths for privacy. I went with my friends there and everyone was super excited to see all this. And all of us wanted to try everything. We are definitely going to go there again for a family High Tea experience and get some Cake for my Birthday. read more

Stopped by from the courtesy of Yelp and my first impression was that it looks bigger than it really was because of the mirrors. Well played Sweet Reserve! Well played. Hahaha place was super cute with about 4 white booths and white tables which makes the place look and feel so clean! Staff was very nice and super sweet. The barista was friendly and we need more baristas like her in the world. I got the Butterscotch bread pudding, Pistachio Tres Leches cake jar, ferrero brownie and the iced hazelnut latte with oat milk. Every single thing was delicious! You can tell it is some good quality desserts. I would definitely come back just to try their other desserts. The only thing I wish was the outside. You can't tell how cute and wonderful it is on the inside. If they can make the outside stand out a little more which I don't know how but I would have drove by without given them a try if it wasn't for Yelp. read more

I came here for an event, I stayed for the dessert. Cake jars: I initially wanted to try the red velvet cake, as it is one of my favorite types of cake, but the gentleman behind the counter recommended I try one of the others which were not common flavors at other bakeries. I realized his suggestion was a good one, and chose the white chocolate raspberry cake jar instead. I'm glad I did, this was delicious. It had some tartness from the raspberry which contrasted in a complimentary way to the sweetness of the cake. 5/5 Farrero brownie: it was decadent but not too sweet. The brownie itself was thick, the inside was soft while the outside had a thin crispness to it. It was perfect. Probably one of my favorite brownies. 5/5 The butterscotch bread pudding: I took one bite and knew my boyfriend would love it. I brought it home to him and he loved it. For me, this is a tad too sweet, but it was still great. For me: 3/5, for my boyfriend 5/5 The hazelnut latte: not sweet, which I was grateful for. It was very coffee flavor forward with a hint of hazelnut from the syrup. Yum. 4/5 The passion fruit cheesecake: Okay, hands down, this is the best passion fruit cheesecake ever! Passion fruit is my favorite fruit because of its sweet and tart nature. This cheesecake is more like slice of mousse, it was heavenly. It reminded me of the passion fruit mango mousse tea cake I used to get at a Japanese tea garden. If you haven't had it, you must try. 5/5 I will certainly be back to try more wonderful desserts! read more

My very good friend who lives in Elk Grove Village took me yesterday to (her words) the BEST bakery anywhere around! I had my doubts (I LOVE lattes and have great bakeries near where I live) OMG I was so very very very pleasantly surprised! We went to the one on Roselle Rd and the latte was to die for; I had the tomato and basil bread which was amazing! And we shared a Mango cheesecake that was sooooo tasty and delicious there r no words to describe it! I told the very friendly clerk that I was born in Cuba and I used to eat mangoes (my grandmother had a mango tree in her back yard) as many as I wanted ripe and full of flavor and the mango cheesecake took me back to my island when I used to sit under the mango tree happily eating a mango! I LOVED the place, the food, the friendly staff! I'll return over and over again BUT I do want to go to the one in Lombard which is closer to me! Wonderful bakery! The cafe is cozy and warm and very nicely decorated and after we were finished eating and drinking our wonderful lattes we stayed for a while longer talking and enjoying the whole experience! read more

I rarely go alone so I have an excuse to try more things. Glad I did this time. And took some items home to share with others. This is a great little spot. And somebody did a good job with the marketing. Love the boxes. Hits... coffee - smooth, low acidity, not overly sweet Cake jar (cookie butter) - YES! Sweet but not numbingly so. Good balance of cake, filing and icing Chicken tikka danish - great flavor, good balance of heat Macarons - flavors you won't find other places, just the right snap, balanced sweetness, tasty fillings Blueberry scone - just the right crumb, exactly what it should be Dining area - clean, lots of seating, bright, open Bathrooms - super clean & modern Staff - super responsive and helpful, very friendly, aware of wait times and responded to keep things moving quickly, offered suggestions when asked Misses... Fake plant wall - it's a cute idea, but plastic takes down the aesthetic Butterscotch bread pudding - overly sweet, dense, ice cold, probably better warm Cherry pie - this is probably a miss more because of preference - the crumb topping made it too sweet & honestly the filing probably came from a jar or can read more

Thanks to Yelp, I found this gem while in the area for work. The gentleman at the counter greeted me warmly upon my entry and described all the beautiful sweet treats available. They're a halal bakery as well! I love the way this place was decorated, so chic and stylish. The old fashioned hand mixers lit up with changing colored lights was my favorite feature! I ordered a sampler of four individual cheesecake bites, two cute fall cookie samplers and a kiwi refresher for my ride home. The kids wanted creme brulee, and this bakery was the closest to where we were for it! It was tasty! We also ordered a few macarons (we liked the snicker one a lot), a double chocolate torte (wasn't a big fan - it was sweet and very chocolatey), and flan (family fave). A lovely bakery with beautiful cakes, delicious desserts, and friendly faces! The Sweet Reserve Bakery is a lovely little hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall, but it makes up for it in flavor! Well, the food is still good (still love that pistachio cake jar! My boyfriend tried the red velvet, and we also had drinks), but dang, why was this place full of screaming children at 9 pm on Saturday? Not even teens, little kids. Such a wonderful place! Went here randomly after Chi Tea and was so pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods, the decor, and the service. This is a French style pastry bakery but run by Pakistanis, so in addition to your regular sweets/pastries you have things like Ras Malai Tres Leches cake, Ras Malai and Gulab Jaman macarons, Gulab Jaman cheesecake, and more. We tried the Nutella cheesecake which was the perfect medium density (not too heavy!). They also serve coffee but also CHAI (!) and kashmiri chai. Both were fantastic. You can also get custom cakes and reserve sweets ahead -- we came late in the evening and many of their popular desserts were sold out. It's also just a very well decorated cafe. I have to start with the aesthetics and ambiance inside: absolutely beautiful. There is clear indication of thought and time put into the design of the place. There are seamless wooden ceilings with curves, chefs tools that line the room and a nice blue and pink color scheme. You walk into a cafe palace and the smells are filled in the air. There are dozens of cake flavors to pick from, a rotating schedule of weekly treats and savory items. I like the theme and designs from the boxes to the decor of each dessert item. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, the s'mores brownie and chocolate chip cookie. The soup was tangy and had a kick but very tasty and came with tortilla chips on the side. The brownie was fluffy and the chocolate was rich and dense. The cookie was crispy and soft on the inside and filled with chocolate morsels. All in all, they have everything you want and is a mix of a cafe and restaurant with all the items from soups and sandwiches to coffee and dessert and they do custom cakes as well.
