If you're in the west loop and in the mood for a corned beef or pastrami sandwich, something different from the popular Italian deli down the street, go to The Corned Beef Factory! Great sandwiches. Homemade chips. Hits the spot.

I passed by this place as I was heading home from the West Loop and it caught my eye because a corned beef sandwich sounded like it would hit the spot as a place to grab a late lunch. It was a surprise how early they closed because they're a sandwich joint with fewer than ten sandwich options, none of which are particularly breakfast themed. I've never seen a restaurant with such a narrow focus but they know their niche and do it well. The rueben I ordered was really good. As someone said, it's not the biggest sandwich you'll ever have but it was well made and I wasn't hungry afterward. The employees were friendly and helpful. Parking is only street, and because it's Lake Ave street parking can be a bit tricky (and expensive). Luckily the el runs right along here. I am rarely in this area so I don't know when I'll be back, and there's so many restaurants around here that I'd probably want to try another, but it's a solid option.

Great Ruben sandwich. The gentleman working was very kind and let us try the meats before picking what sandwich we wanted. Great prices for how much you get.

One of the few spots in west loop that force you back in time. Place is OG, food is delicious and prices are unreal reasonable for Fulton market. So far I've tried the Tom & Jerry, the Reuben and the corned beef. Each and every sando is credible and the winner is the meats. The kettle chips are simply unrealistic and stay crunchy for a while. You will entirely miss this place if you're not specifically looking for it. Place is a bang for your buck but don't expect Manny sized sandwiches. They are smaller but MORE than plenty for 1 persons meal. Overall- one of my favorite Fulton market lunch spots!

This is our second day in a row visiting and getting lunch. Yes, it's that good! These guys don't chince on the meat and it's all good! The guy behind the register was super nice and helpful! The place is clean with a great vibe! Folks on and out and gives off the traditional sandwich shop vibe. You can tell a lot of locals come here! Seems like everyone knows each other. Oh yeah, it seems as though the chips are homemade. Crispy and light! Check it out!

I appreciate the simplicity of the place. You know it's going to be great because there are only 9 sandwiches to choose from, so much more focus with a limited menu. I had the Tom and Jerry so that I could have both the corned beef and pastrami. Flavor was excellent but maybe I am being too picky but admittedly could have had a bit more meat seeing pictures from others makes me feel I got slightly short changed. Service was quick and prices are reasonable.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place is the real deal. They make their own pastrami and corned beef. And it is absolutely worth it. Peppery and juicy and fabulous. The menu is small and simple but on point. I ordered the Tom & Jerry with spicy mustard. Everything is served on rye. The chips are homemade-super thin cut and crispy. It was every bit of two meals for me. The place is super clean. A simple shotgun dining room with very few seats. The staff is friendly.

Very respectable sandwiches. ..not amazing or particularly memorable, but good. Nice portions and product quality. Fumare Meats & Deli was my go to in this area for pastrami, but the legend that was recently closed their doors. Friendly service, neat packaging, quality ingredients. Not better than Manny's and definitely can't compete with Hershel's Eastside Deli in the Philadelphia Terminal Market. Hershel's is #1 in my book. Honestly 3.33 stars, but considering everything that's going on, I'm giving a generous 4 star rating.

Amazing sandwiches with good flavors. Simple and filling. Worth the prices, and the meals come with their homemade potato chips. Multiple sandwich options such as pastrami and Italian beef! Rapid service.

I like that their shop now has spacious indoor seating. The staff were nice. The meat quality and portions are good. Prices are a few dollars cheaper than Manny's Deli AND sandwiches come with chips. I think the rye bread and meats are tastier at Manny's Deli though. Chips were very good - lightly crunchy and right amount of salt.

As soon as I walked in, I saw so many goodies I knew I was taking home. They had a very well curated selection of fancy condiments from small makers, rare ingredients, and the highest quality version of many every day foods! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had to try one of their sandwiches and got the salmon po boy at their recommendation. It was really well seasoned and super fresh with a very generous slice of fish on it. Definitely coming back for another one next time I'm in the area! They have window display with various cuts of meat, deli meats and whole fish. They also had racks which seasonings and sauces. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We elected to go for a couple sandwiches; Glenda had a ham sandwich with lettuce and tomato with mayo and mustard. The sandwich was a good size sandwich and the ham was sliced thin but I found it to be a little salty. She also asked for no onions and there was a good amount of onions on the sandwich. I opted for the bacon burger with cheese. The misleading part was that it wasn't a burger with bacon, the bacon was in the patty; the cheese wasn't melted and I ordered medium rare and received medium. To top it all off, you couldn't taste the bacon and it was poorly under seasoned. Both sandwiches came with bag fries not fresh-cut; which had a Cajun type seasoning salt. They were good but extremely salty. I give this restaurant 2 1/2 stars mostly for the fresh meats. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Ciao Ciao for now. It was perfect for a quick bite. There were amazing baked goods on display and we chose the kale salad scone, rosemary apricot scone, and pimento biscuit sandwich. All baked goods are beautiful and generously sized. All were delicious and unique. The cafe also has a full compliment of coffee drinks, but as it was a hot day we chose iced tea. I had an Arnold Palmer. There is self serve water as well. The selection is limited to baked goods only. We didn't try the cookies or cakes, but they looked amazing. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating in a small area surrounding potted plants making for an inviting setting with limited space. The staff are efficient and calm. If there is a line, as we were told there usually is, it moves quickly. I recommend this spot for a sweet or savory bite.

The location is probably the only issue I have because it's not close to me and their is always traffic. The sweet and savory cornbread biscuits are the best textured goods I have ever had. Soft on the inside with crunch on the outside and full of flavor. I prefer the sweet personally with the butter and homemade jam. The scones are a second favorite of mine with the newest addition of blue cheese, bacon, and sage being my favorite. A second would be the kale and cheddar. The BT Latte is also a staple for me with their homemade cinnamon coconut syrup. Just go already.
