    Box of Onion Rings

Berwyn Chicken is a great spot for comfort food that travels well. Delivery is always quick and reliable, even from about fifteen minutes away. The portions are generous and the sandwiches are huge. The Chicken Pierre is outstanding and easily my favorite item on the menu. I am not a big fan of the gravy they use for the mashed potatoes, but it is still fine if that style is your thing. The mac and cheese is just okay, but the onion rings are really good and perfectly crispy.

Been wanting to try this place for a HOT minute and it was worth the wait. Chicken sandwiches are so big they come in a cake box! Berwyn Hot sandwich has amazing seasoning on it but surprisingly no heat. ‍ Oak Park Cool sandwich was a great classic chicken sandwich. Having a mix of tots & fries was dope too. Plus, that punk sauce was fire! My friend said the fish & chips were just as good as when he had it back in Scotland and London. Definitely gotta go back but gotta find the right time since it took like 40 minutes to get our food. I like that it had a little parking lot, but the place is small with some window seats so I might not be able to bring my kid.

This place is AMAZING. I had 2 of the chicken box combos and it was more than enough food. The fact that it already comes with coleslaw and bread along with a sauce and another side was more than enough and all for less than $25. The service did take quite a long time but the wait was worth it, I'd say call 20-25 minutes in advance. Will come again one of the best chicken thighs and mac and cheese I've ever had. The mikes sauce was sweet and paired nice with the biscuit.

    Awesome sandwich. Gross tots

The chicken is amazing. Highly recommend the onion rings as well. Only complaints were that the tater tots were under cooked and mashed together in a ball and if you order online, don't trust the ready by time. It took 20 minutes longer than expected

    Very good 3 wing dinner

I visited here based upon all the reviews recommending this place. I ordered the Hot chicken sandwich and a 3 wing dinner. I got tots with one order and fries with another. I'm concerned when entering the place: nobody there on a Wed at 3pm. The 3 wings dinner was very good. Fried and seasoned just right. Fries were delicious. Nice, soft, pillowy great tasting roll to accompany eveything.I would get this again, if I was in the area. The HOT chicken sandwich. It was huge. It was juicy. It wasn't HOT. It wasn't seasoned. Very bland. Too much salt on my tots. I couldn't finished those. The slaw had a pineapple after taste that I didn't enjoy. Overall, a waste of $32 that I won't repeat EVER.

I don't know if this is the best chicken sandwich on earth, but it certainly is the best one I have ever had. The Berwyn hot has a nice spice to it without a lot of heat. I can handle an absurd amount of heat, so this was pretty mild but with excellent flavor. It's completely unnatural and I wouldn't be surprised if years down the road we find out these were eagle breasts. Friendly service as always we were customers when they were Big Guys, but this is the first time we have been out since the change . It's tiny inside though so be prepared to eat in your car or take it home during peak hours .

    Oak Park Cool Sandwich

I really wanted to like this place and was so excited to try it with my fiancé after seeing it all over social media. I'm all about my personal honest reviews so here it goes. We walked into the place and it was crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The employee was kind and took our order. I got the "Oak Park" and my fiancé got the hot chicken sandwich. They both came in lined bakery boxes that had our chicken sandwiches, packed pickles, slaw, sauce and we opted for the tater tots. After we got our food we picked a nice park to eat it at. Visibly the chicken cutlet was huge and it exceeded the bun in size. It was like a pounded chicken cutlet that was battered and fried. We did not enjoy the sandwich at all and thought it was too salty and the coating didn't stick onto the chicken. The tater tots were hard fried and extremely hard and crunchy. We like crunchy tots but they over fried these to the point where it wasn't enjoyable at all. I didn't want to leave this kind of review because I really was hyped about this place but unfortunately to each their own and at least it was an experience we got to have.

First time here. We tried both types of the chicken sandwiches offered, with a mix of the French fries and tater tots, the wings combo with the mac and cheese, and the chicken Pierre strips combo with the mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was very good, made fresh to order, and the sandwiches were very large in size, and the portions of everything else were of good size and plenty to share. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the coleslaw, and I wish I could have tried the other sauces, but they charge extra for each one and it is a bit on the pricey side but worth the trip. Would recommend. Parking is hard to find.

    "Colosal" (not) Chicken Sandwich
    Raven P.

Like many reviewers, we really wanted to like their chicken sandwiches but were disappointed with what we've seen advertised on youtubes the website menu of $15-16 vs what we got for $17.99. We walked into a very small, narrow wooden shack with food and trash all over the floors. We came too far to turn around so our group just placed their orders and said a lil prayer. After about 30 minutes we got our first order. We came in a group so while waiting for the other orders, we peeked into our box and noticed the small portion of fries so we decided to order a separate order of fries. Also, the not so "colosal" chicken cutlet was on a regular sized bun not the double split top Turano bun we expected. The fries and tots were ok but the portions were small for large pricing (8). The sauces are hella sweet and nothing special. All mayo based with possibly sugar or honey enough to blow your glucose numbers off the charts! The price hikes from last few months to now for smaller portions, lesser quality is on par with deceitful businesses practices passing on any reported rising "tariff related" costs down to their customers. You don't get return customers when you are willing to compromise your reputation for not selling what makes your place popular in the first place. Even though the gal taking orders was very nice and friendly she was less than honest when questioned about the bait and bun switch of it all. Bottom line, this place isn't worth the travel or your coins! And for anyone wanting to try this place because of all the hype...you're better off getting a Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich and fries... way better and won't break the wallet!

My friend who grew up here had the protip of getting a cup of cheese for the fries, why not? I just ate so many veggies! We also got an Italian beef with sweet peppers to split. I think next time I would get it with hot peppers, but the sweets weren't bad. Naturally, I had to give it a try. The location is easy to miss -- tucked into a small strip mall by the train tracks -- and the interior was empty except for one employee and a customer picking up an order. When I walked in, the employee didn't acknowledge me. After standing there for a moment, I noticed a self‑order screen near the counter, identical to their online ordering interface. Once I placed my order, the employee immediately began preparing my food. The only interaction I received was when he called my name to pick it up. I ordered the small Original Cheesesteak meal. The bread was the highlight: soft, fresh, and exactly what you'd expect from real Philly bread. Unfortunately, the rest of the sandwich didn't live up to the hype. The meat had very little flavor, and the vegetables and minimal cheese overwhelmed what little taste there was. The "small" size is roughly an 8-inch sub. I also tried the Wisconsin cheese curds. They were made with white cheddar and tasted almost identical to what you'd get at Culver's -- nothing special. The combo totaled $22.66, which felt steep for a meal that left a lot to be desired. If you're going strictly for the bread, it's worth a stop. Otherwise, the experience and flavor fall short of expectations.
