Donuts
Kelly R.

A great selection of donut and coffee flavors! We got the strawberry wafer & strawberry cheesecake donuts as well as the honey jasmine and eggnog lattes. We loved them all! Honey Jasmine Latte was really light & not-so-sweet for my non-sweet fans. I love the community board and they were pretty quick with our order. There's a good number of seating for all. Ambiance is pretty nice and chill; perfect for a coffee shop.

Cute little old fashioned coffee spot reminding me of a mini Cracker Barrow somehow, cozy and warm book warm ready interior with simple familiar menu offering all sorts of sugar syrups to ripen that caffeine. I enjoyed a quick chat with the staff to settle a butter pecan latte. Went with a smaller size to offset morning diabetic weather, noticed there seemed to be a lot more ice for even a small iced latte than Starbucks but I see many places having to shave copper somehow. It was too smooth to drink with any responsible manners, more good reason I got the small. This is a railroad watching, downtown walking, bike race cheering, and overall cure for summer humidity and bet winter blues too.

Cafe Latte And A Bagel

Brookfield has a few nice local businesses. Gosia's is one of these, a place to find some coffee that's not from a chain. It has pretty friendly service like a good old mom and pop operation. Certainly it's not a big place and space is limited but it has a cozy feel. There's also eats like bagels and sweets. For those going through on train, it's a convenient stop at breakfast. It's only across the street from the station, making this the perfect place to get a boost in the morning. The coffee is from Collectivo, so you already know it's good, and it's from the area too. Has many typical coffee drinks. The last time here I got a Cafe Latte, because any coffee place can be judged based on this. It's $3.50 for a medium. Substitute non dairy milk for $0.75, which includes almond and oat. Bagels are limited but they have a few. It's about $2 and comes with butter, cream cheese, or jelly. They also have doughnuts and more. Cool place for some coffee. It's not to be confused with the coffee place in the train station that's called Locha Mocha. This is only a few feet away from here, and they have a friendly dog, if you needed any more reasons why you should go here, and better prices.

Blended ginger chai already half gone as my train arrives - it's that good!

Blended ginger chai, very nice. Not quite as spicy as I prefer, but tasty. Friendly staff. PS: Apparently the place to hang out if you are a little white dog.

Here's my sandwich

it's really nice to have a coffee shop in my neighborhoo to go to. The drinks are really good. But, the food isn't the best. I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it had one half a slice of bacon. The avacodo toast has raw Spanish on it. the coffee is kinda mid too.

There will be those random moments where I search a nearby coffee shop and this comes up. For some reason, I'd always dismiss it because I thought it was in the train station or something..until one day my husband suggested that we try it. For the record, it's across from the station and it's quite the cozy pick me up. I'm particular about my coffee so sometimes I don't like trying places that don't have many reviews (since lattes can be expensive) This beauty did not disappoint! My latte was flavorful and tasty and the service was great. The baristas took the time to answer my questions (I usually have a bunch) and they were helpful when it came to my husband choosing a drink. He had tried their coffee a couple of times before and he wasn't fond of the drip coffee (it was really light) but he enjoyed the hot horchata he ordered and I enjoyed the iced vanilla latte I got. Im thinking the time I'm in, I'm going to splurge and get a pastry!

I was introduced to Philosophy Coffee at Berrylicious Breakfast Club in Lombard (excellent…read morebreakfast spot, check out my review) and loved the coffee. Smooth and flavorful. Not many breakfast spots coffee impresses me. This was a pleasant surprise. So much so that I looked them up online. Called about ordering and the person who answered was friendly and very helpful.

We started the process by going to their local headquarters and sampling the different styles. Sam and Kelly were very knowledgeable about all the products and made great recommendations. They provided us with a deluxe coffee bean grinder, a two-station coffee maker, and a two-station espresso machine. We have been open for almost a year now and we have never had any problems with their equipment or coffee products. They do have an emergency technician on call to stop by immediately if we ever have any issues. Lastly and most importantly, our customers absolutely love their coffee and it's one of the reasons why we've been able to be so successful in such a competitive market. Coffee is everything in our business and we made sure we picked the best around. It's always a pleasure dealing with Sam and Kelly from Philosophy Coffee. They often stop by our restaurant just to say hello and check on things. They don't just sell you a product and disappear, they are always proactive and really do things right away.
