Crepology in Frankfort, nestled between Distinctive Gold and Emagine Theater is a downtown Chicago worthy eating establishment. From the neon sign on a wooden backdrop to the hand stenciled wallpaper and mural, each inch is an instaworthy backdrop. Even if you're not posting, this space has such a warm and inviting vibe. This trip, we opted for two bouquets, their crepe is known as, super cute. My selections were a vanilla creme with some of the freshest strawberries and raspberries and a chocolate drizzle. My son swapped the raspberries for bananas and a Nutella drizzle. The portions are plentiful to share one, but you may not want to share. The creme is so light, along with the crepe that you don't have that heavy feeling after. No filmy feeling. This is all natural and fresh made to order. And if you're lucky, you get to chat with the owner, Adam, while you wait. One of the kindest people with through the roof customer service and very proud of his establishment and hopes you will be too. I know I am! A loyal customer for certain. Coffee that they make is amazing. They can't seem to make a crêpe well done. I've had crêpes that I ordered well done and they were kind of crisp around the edges. That's how I like them. Best I had one loaded with blueberries and I used honey to sweeten it no powdered sugar And the owner was there and everything was good a place could use a little work. Such a cute place! We went for brunch this morning and got the chicken pesto and chicken Alfredo savory crepes, they were absolutely delicious. We also sampled 3 different green tea refreshers that were also super yummy! Service was great and they were so patient with first time goers! If you've lived nearby for long enough, you know that this particular part of the strip mall has gone through numerous different shops. But I think this one (and the La Michoacana next to it) is going to break the curse and stick around for a while. I'm not a big crepe guy - but this converted me. The crepes are airy or crispy depending on what you order. Totally customizable, with some delish toppings (I saw kitkats on there!!!) Finally got to check out Crepology. 100 worth the stop! I'm a Melt n Dip fan but thrilled to have this gem nearby just as good with different ingredients and methods. Try the vanilla bean crème! Loved all the diced nut options. Also sell Dubai chocolate - yum! My only advice is: 1) advertise your savory options more. Missed them first order and you could do great breakfast biz with the egg ones! 2) When ready add catering. Good luck! read more

First time customer, forever fan. The owner was amazing!! He gave us recommendations and both were fantastic!! The passion he has for the place can definitely be tasted in the food. The crepe was delicious, the fruit was so fresh, and coffee creme was incredible!! I wish I had taken pictures of the atmosphere as well. We had a party of 9 for my dad's birthday. Normally, you order at the counter. Based on party size, the staff encouraged us to take a seat and offered table service. We went to Crepology after dinner and before going to see a movie. This is a GREAT dessert/treat stop before or after going to see a movie at Emagine. We got a crepe with cocoa crème, strawberry and pistachio with Nutella sauce on top. OMG, we split it between four of us and it was plenty but we were jockeying to box out each other because it was SO good. We will be back soon. The Crepes here are out of this world delicious!!! I ordered a strawberry and banana crepe with caramel sauce. The crepe itself is a thicker dough but not like a waffle. You can add cream if you like. There all sorts of toppings like nuts and candy pieces as well as ice cream. I had a regular coffee and it too was very good! Nice owner too! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Never even got to eat here since the place wasn't even open!! Apple Maps and the website says 9am it opens. Well we went and got there at 9:05 and nope! Not open!!! I heard about this place from a friend and drove from WI to try their waffles with strawberry whipped cream and chocolate sauce and it was worth it! The owner was extremely friendly and enjoyed showing me how the crepes and waffles were made. The location in the strip mall is very convenient with ample parking and the inside of this restaurant was beautiful with a hand painted mural on the wall.
