Everything seems to be fresh. They offer wrapped chocolates (I was able to taste them) and they were pretty good. They have halal gummies which you can also buy by the pound as much or as little as you'd like (you bag it yourself). They have makhloota (roasted mixed nuts) which are on display. I didn't get to try it but it looked good! Who doesn't love roasted nuts? Overall a clean and nice store. I was only in Chicago for a visit and brought stuff with me to Miami from this store. Wish they had a location by us! Definitely recommend them!

I've been coming there since it opened 30+ years ago and I've always loved that store. A couple of employees there are beyond trashy and rude- particularly the tall guy. The last two times I've been there I've watched customers walk out because of him. He's nasty to all customers. He was aslo casually eating candy while getting orders. Gross. When the boyfriend wanted to take me to the mall on a Saturday afternoon, I thought he was nuts…read more Nuts, I tells ya! And Orland Park mall is usually a clusterfrak, in my opinion, and I wasn't in the mood. But as soon as I entered Too Cool, I realized why he brought me there: It is pretty close to Hello Kitty heaven. (Real Hello Kitty heaven is the Sanrio store in San Francisco, but this is pretty good for the 'burbs!) I see here on Yelp that Too Cool is a chain, but this was my first visit. I was delighted by the HK selection, which includes plenty of gifts for kids, such as rubber stamps, [inexpensive] earrings, lots of sandwich containers, and sippy cups, but also a decent selection for grownup HK fans like me, like handbags, iPhone cases [but no Samsung Galaxy cases---boo!] and pens. I picked up some stickers, Chococat sticky notes, and a Hello Kitty dish that I plan to use for kitty food. I should have bought two! I was hoping to find a stapler because I recently lost my travel-sized one, but struck out. I'd also like to see a bit more stationery and house stuff, but they do have plenty of stickers, I'll give them that! I look forward to checking the place out regularly to see what new items they get in. The other side of the store has other Japanese-style toys and whatnot. I saw some Angry Birds and some creepy looking swords, but I must admit, I didn't pay much attention to the non-Sanrio stuff because I wasn't thinking about writing a review. The store was bopping pretty good, though, so I'm sure it's good stuff. Hello Kitty for the win!

I loved looking through all the merchandise, and I thought it was all pretty reasonably priced. I walked out of the store with a vampire Fluttershy stuffed animal that cost somewhere around $17, and I'm super happy with it. I'm definitely going to be coming back.

I usually go to the wedding the city by Roberto Clemente on Western and Cortez until I discovered this one. If you're into organic beyond whole foods or Mariano's and is willing to travel all the way to Orland Park from Chicago this is the place to go. They even had duck eggs that the Amish are up in Chicago says they are running out because of a season chain on ducks laying eggs. I had ordered the cherry pie but the disappointment was on Sundays they run out of pies by Saturday. It is best if you're going to order Amish pies to call in and reserve a pie at additional charge until you go to the store. The milk which is more traditional than oberweis or organic milk since you have to shake it in the bottle and drink it tasted much better and unique and doesn't give you gassiness or you're about to fart in the regards to being lactose intolerance I drank like three bottles of chocolate milk I didn't get a chance to take a picture cuz I was kind of in a hurry. Ambience from the owner was very amiable if not friendly but I will be coming back there because they also have shoo fly pie which I can't find in in whole foods. Four out of five stars because of the availability of the pies but other than that everything else that you could think of that's Amish and organic is there better than the one in Chicago.
