Fadwa was so helpful, kind, and attentive. She made me feel welcomed in the store from the moment I walked in. This seems to be a new store and I must say I really liked it. Everything seems to be fresh. They offer wrapped chocolates (I was able to taste them) and they were pretty good. They also have different types of chocolates that you can buy by the pound which are also delicious...I got a little bit of each one. They have halal gummies which you can also buy by the pound as much or as little as you'd like (you bag it yourself). They have makhloota (roasted mixed nuts) which are on display. I didn't get to try it but it looked good! Who doesn't love roasted nuts? Overall a clean and nice store. I was only in Chicago for a visit and brought stuff with me to Miami from this store. My first experience with Elite Nuts was a gift. I received a huge glass platter filled with an array of chocolates. I'm not the type of person to eat chocolate much, but I really enjoyed these chocolates. The chocolate is very nicely wrapped individually and you can guess the flavor by the color of the wrapping. I do wish they can offer a map or description with the chocolates. Good quality chocolate from Turkey and Belgium. Then my next experience was buying their sour pistachios at a convention. Me and the kids loved it! So sour and good. Today I came into the store to get more pistachios and found the store so nice and Fadwa was so welcoming and offered us coffee. They have a huge assortment of nuts, chocolates, Turkish delights, and lots of decor. Highly recommend stopping by and check this place out. Wishing them the best of luck! read more

This store has a beautiful story to be told. Their coffee beans is great! The owner the is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We became lovers of Turkish coffee! My wife had help in selecting a beautiful Turkish coffee pot and wonderful Palestinian coffee cup set. The nut selection is vast, but has more than just nuts. So glad I found this gem in the Orland area! Absolutely impressed by the quality provided for their chocolates and nuts! The staff was very generous and friendly! The candy bar was hard to pick from but the chocolates filled flakes are by far my favorite. Everything tastes very fresh! Will definitely be my go-to place for everything nuts and chocolates! Absolutely amazing place. I was there yesterday and Fedwa (the most wonderful woman) designed 3 trays for me as gifts. Not only are the sweets unique and delicious, the trays and platters rival any boutique purchase. Excellent customer service as the owner always helps me pack my car! We also had trays made for my sister in law for an event in Cincinnati a few weeks ago. They helped us pack the sweets for a safe travel and the recipients were very impressed! We found the location by chance (well... my wife did as I was driving). She looked up the business on-line and thought that it would be a nice place to try one day when we have a free moment. We found ourselves with some free time TOGETHER and decided to visit the shop for the first time. Upon entering we noticed not only the vast array of unique offerings of nuts in exotic flavors but also a wonderful selection of candies and coffee! There were even a display featuring a collection of beautiful coffee cup sets. The prices were very reasonable. As a store, my wife and I were impressed! I made a return trip a few days later to try out a couple of other candies I neglected to purchase during our initial visit which I also enjoyed. Unfortunately, it will be the last time we patronize the business but I doubt anyone would lose sleep over it. During our first visit, an older lady peered at my wife and I from the back room. Unlike other reviews I've read, there was NO greeting, NO smile, NO acknowledgement whatsoever. She just stood there at the register with no reaction. In fact, the older lady acted as if we evaded her space. Feeling ignored, my wife wanted to make her customary quiet exit. However, this visit was HER idea, she took me from MY yard work to join her, and we are not leaving until I get a snack. Shortly after, a younger lady who looked to be in her early 20s appeared. She in contrast, was very friendly and engaging. While she was answering questions and making suggestions, the older lady kinda shadowed her while arranging boxes from time to time. As we asked questions, the older lady would make low, inaudible statements to the younger lady. We made a small purchase and left. We thought.. Nah, maybe the older lady was having a not so good day and brushed off the so, so service. Being in a business that thrives on customer care, I was curious. So, I made another trip to Elites Nuts. Upon the second visit, I experienced the same underwhelming welcome and mediocre service. Elite Nuts have outstanding products and I'm quite certain that they are capable of providing excellent service. However, it seems that there is a "certain" clientele that they would rather not accommodate. Just Sayin. read more
