Great shopping experience. Lots of exotic meats, like kangaroo and escargots. I will definitely be back. Only thing, I was looking for huge Australian or South African lobster tail and I did not see any. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the store was very clean and played great music. Thank you

Wonderful selections priced well. Was greeted with good customer service. The free samples of spices are a plus.

You have to wait 10 seconds for it to go away to scan your next item and as soon as you bag that the obnoxious notice is back. God forbid you're trying to check out with more than a couple items or you'll be there for hours. I assume this is some kind of loss prevention thing but if you're that paranoid about someone stealing at the checkout then get rid of the kiosks and hire more checkers. And dont leave the self checkout as the only option at night. The only reason I ever went here was if I needed something later at night. Instead, from now on, I'm gonna drive the mile to the 24 hour Jewel Osco who don't call me a thief or waste my time.

The man i initially asked replied to me with a smart remark & relayed the question of where the toilet paper was to another worker who responded very rudely that the toilet paper was in aisle 12. Following this I continued to see the same man around the store multiple times while i tried to shop. Overall this experience was extremely uncomfortable & I won't be back! When i shop at a store i want to be greeted pleasantly, not ever in that manner especially if I'm spending my hard earned money.

The entrées were New York Strip W/ Lobster tail and Lamb Loin w/ mashed potatoes. The surf and turf was delicious and perfectly medium rare. The Lamb was medium well and was a hit. The mashed Yukan potatoes was delicious with garlic buttered asparagus! Kiarra was are server and she was excellent. She gave great customer service and knowledgeable about the menu items we had questions about. The dessert was a oatmeal cream pie and Turtle cheese cake, both was very good! Plenty of parking available. Excellent host that greets you upon arrival was a plus.

The atmosphere is dimly lit (which I love), clean, lots of wood and leather everywhere. It's spacious but also cozy. On to the food.. my favorites have been the butterfish and the trout. This last time I got a pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp was really good right off the grill as were the gnocchi but it was kind of swimming in an oily sauce. I expected it to either be creamy or lightly coated pasta, instead of a pool of pesto and oil. The sauce didn't really stay on to the gnocchi because it was so thin. I used my extra pita bread to sop it up. The artichoke with hummus appetizer is also tasty. My friend got the lamb shank (chops?) and she also enjoyed her meal. The espresso martini was good but it had like a chunky shaved chocolate or something on the rim which was unnecessary and made it kind of hard to drink. We haven't tried any desserts yet but they look amazing. It was about $150 for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer. I couldn't afford this regularly but it's a nice treat every now and then.

We got the seafood tower for 2 and it come with 2 dips and bread and everything was Devine!!!! An absolute mouth heaven for seafood lovers. The top tier was fried calamari, lobster tail split in 2 and 2 giant shrimp with this spicy tomato dipping sauce. The bottom tier was a bed of delicious spicy yellow rice with 3 different kinds of fish, shrimp and mussels. Every single thing I put into my mouth was excellent!!! Our server Ferris (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was absolutely amazing. Funny, knowledgeable, he explained everything that we were eating and telling us about the buffet that they offered. He was tentative and nice. The decor was sooooo beautiful and romantic as well. We sat on these super comfy round cushion chairs over these beautiful round lights and it was dim enough to feel a wonderful atmosphere and romantic but bright enough to see our food. The entire experience was wonderful and if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I will recommend this place to anyone who loves Mediterranean food or seafood and I will 1000% be back. This is my new favorite place!! Thank you for a great date night experience for hubby and I!

It was Mother's Day weekend so I will offer some slack. I will start with saying that they need to…read morehave a pleasant well organized hostess at the door. I think the owner may have been at the door that day and seemed a bit frazzled (understandable). Also, a sign that says please wait here to be seated. When we arrived we didn't know where to stand so we went to the other side of the front desk and were somewhat scolded and redirected to go back around and wait. It was pointed out there was another family waiting to be seated. Hmm. But it was a busy day so we let that go. Fortunately we didn't wait long to be seated. The waiter, although not to experienced, was trying hard and answered all our questions. When we placed our order we were informed several items were not available. Hmmm. It was still early in the day, how do you not have the items. We ordered humus. DELICIOUS!!! Spanish Octopus with white rice, combination plate with lamb, steak and chicken plus the white rice, and finally lamb chops with white rice. Problem the octopus was served first it had superb flavor and not rubbery at all. That was my son's meal. Then about 5 mins later came my meal, the combination which was deliciously seasoned and the chicken was moist!! Finally 5-10 mins later the waiter came and told my daughter that the kitchen failed to tell him there were no lamb chops. So disappointed. They apologize and she ordered the combination plate which came about 10 minutes later. Needless to say my son and I were done with our meal. Problem: initially when we got the hummus we ate it but had to drink water because our drinks didn't come till I got my meal. I reminded the waiter and he explained they had to make the drinks. habiscus water and a mint lemonade. Hmmm Problem: when my son got his octopus, he didn't get a knife and I had to give him my steak knife so he could cut his octopus legs. Finally when we got the bill, we were being charged for the lamb chops!!! Needless to say Al Bahar was recommended by Albawadi Grill waitress. And yes the food is terrific! Even the white rice makes my mouth water. But the service and consistency needs much improvement. Although the waiter apologized, at no time were we offered some type of compensation for all the inconveniences experienced. Not that it's required nor do I expect it but it would've been a nice gesture. The table next to us complained loudly and they were offered free food. We complained subtly and no type of courtesy was extended. Do I recommend. Yes for pick up order the food is scrumptious and No I do not recommend dine in experience. They have much to improve! Goto Al Bawadi instead!! Their food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the humus and fresh made pita unbelievably delicious!
