You can only imagine my excitement and sheer delight when I entered this store. I went into a sugar frenzy! There are gummy bears, gummy worms, ice cream, chuckles, peanut clusters, taffy, butter caramel, chips, Chicago style cheese popcorn, pop...I could go on forever! If you're looking for oldies but goodies, stop on through. If you're looking for holiday treats, stop on through. Even if you don't have a real reason, stop on through. I guarantee there's something here for you at Raffy's. The staff is helpful. They'll make recommendations based on your taste. All of my visits have been in-and-out quick. Lots and lots and lots of candy you and your dentist will love. Stopped here initially to get ice cream but walked out with half the store. The wife loaded up on different flavors of gummy bears that should be outlawed. They were soft and edible didn't fill the gaps in your teeth. Also bought some milk and dark chocolates with sea salt. Salt water toffee and some old school candy your grandma used to keep in her front room that was older than you. Here the candy tasted great and fresh...request a sample to see for your self. Yesterday was the first time that I felt so unwelcome in Raffys Candy Store in New Lenox. It was a guy and a girl both looked to be in High School. Neither were very friendly and kinda acted like I was bothering them. l've been in both locations before and never walked away feeling so awkward. This is the sweetest (no pun intended) addition to Downtown Frankfort. They have a great selection of chocolates and candies. I purchased some incredible peanut butter cups for a candy-dish gift and they were a huge hit. The store front is huge with a beautiful patio for sitting and having ice cream. The store is also immaculate and the two boys (I believe they were twins) helping people were very kind and patient. We look forward to coming back! read more

Family Run and what a selection of candy. Some old school selections from years past and lots of chocolate covered items to choose from. A ton of gummies in many different flavors. Ice cream parlor in the back has a great selection with some flavors only available at Raffys. I have been many times and will continue to come back.
