We decided to try a new breakfast spot and came here. Since it's a weekday, it wasn't packed. We were greeted and seated quickly. This establishment is clean and has a bright, airy, and modern ambiance. Vanessa was our server, and she was warm and friendly, checking in on us periodically. She is wonderful! The flavors were straightforward, but their serving sizes are huge. Hubby ordered the classic French toast, which comes with three full slices and four pieces of bacon, and he ordered a side of eggs. Our son ordered the Henhouse skillet. He enjoyed it and said it was a lot. I ordered the waffle 'n' eggs. It comes with bacon and eggs. My son and I ordered coffee, and we both agreed that it is one of the best-tasting coffees we've had in a while. read more

My friend and I came here a few weeks ago during the week for lunch. It was a 15 minute wait. After we finally got seated, we waited a while for the waitress to take our order and she had a look on her face when we ordered. After we hurriedly ate what we can so we can get back to work, we asked for the check. It took a long time and my friend had to leave so I was stuck waiting. The waitress was talking to other tables and completely ignored me until she came by and I had to ask for the check again. She also never checked in on us when we ate. Overpriced for mediocre food. The food is comparable to most other breakfast joints. The food is wonderful and delicious. The wait time is however longer than most restaurants. The service once seated is great. The ambiance is loud. There's a lot of people and very little sound buffering in this restaurant. There seems to be also some wasted space where extra tables could be placed for seating. After another event in the area, we were looking for a brunch spot. When we pulled up to Waffles, it was packed! I was anticipating a long wait, but we were sat right away. Looking at other yelpers reviews, I saw that portion sizes would be huge - and yea they were! I went with the French toast and got 4 full slices. Side of bacon came with 6 slices! The pancakes are huge and so fluffy! The ham was a good portion and cooked perfectly. The scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were really good. My skillet came with your choice of egg (my go to is over easy), potatoes, and corned beef hash. The skillet was delicious! The service was super fast and she was attentive as well. I absolutely love this breakfast spot! The food is always super fresh and so delicious! I always have the best service, too! I've had three or four different servers and they were all fantastic! They're always super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient! Everybody there is so polite & joyful, too, from the Hostess to the servers to the busboys. Today, I had the eggs with veggies & hubby had the Belgian waffle with bacon. We both had coffee, too. I usually get the salad with the blueberries and strawberries with grilled chicken (sorry I can't remember the name) and that's my absolute favorite and it's humongous, too, so I always have leftovers for days! Prices are fair here, too. I just wish they were open for dinner, too, so I could go there even more often! Very cute decor, too. it's always crowded, no matter when you go, which is a good sign in my book, but I always get seated right away and the service is always super fast. Ordered the rise and shine burger. Bun had large mold ring on top of it, about the size of a nickel...green and fuzzy. Ruined the appetite of me and other members of my party. The waitress was nice about it and took it away and offered something else but again, appetite was ruined at that point.
