    Berry Crepe
    Karen S.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice quiet little restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We stopped for breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were very accomodating for my three-year-old grandson.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He had gelato and bacon and both were delicious. I had the berry crepes. The crepe was light and the berries were very fresh. My husband had some eggs and bacon and like that, as well. Service was great.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little spot in downtown Wheaton.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I misread the description at first, thinking it was just the bakery shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a bakery for to go items OR the indoor dining option.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did not have a reservation, and it was during restaurant week, so we got put in the small room in the back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is also the area they host cooking classes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed my 3 course items from the restaurant week menu. The salad was delicious with strawberries, cantaloupe, and blueberries. For my main course, I had the coconut shrimp crepe. It was full of shrimp and chopped peppers. Coconut was sprinkled on top. For my dessert item, I went with the apple crepe. It was very flavorful. I took half home! I also had their house coffee which was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One bathroom only for the whole restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was also a little cold.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check them out!

One of my favorite places to go to brunch or afternoon tea is Suzette's Creperie. Today my husband and I went to brunch with my friend and her mom. I started with French pear tea service. The four of us all shared the appetizer special, shrimp beignets. Huge shrimp covered in beignet batter. Yes please! Whenever I go to brunch at this restaurant, I always get the Suzette's Benedict. There is nothing like this dish. It's light, flavorful and utterly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten for breakfast or brunch. It's definitely not a typical eggs Benedict as it's made with an egg soufflé and a slice of ham laying on brioche with guyere cheese, baked and then covered with the lightest lemon sauce. It's really perfection! The best part of the meal other than being together with special friends was that our server Axel remembered me from a previous visit when I took my sister for afternoon tea for her birthday. He is such a charmer, friendly and provides great service. I was so happy to see him again. I love that we remembered each other Seriously if you're ever near Wheaton, visit Suzette's for the Suzette's Benedict. You can thank me later.

It was my first time having a crepe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a lot of neat nooks and crannies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated in the way back (didn't know where we were being seated at first, haha).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the ham and cheese crepe, side salad, and apple pie (restaurant week $35). Their coffee was great. The food was great, too. The apple pie slice was huge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's more of an upscale place. I wouldn't recommend bringing young kids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We attend Suzette's holiday tea every year, and it's always such a delight -- a pianist playing festive favorites and an array of lovely small bites served with tea.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I want to give this place a better review, but I did not have the greatest experience. I came on a Saturday night and made reservations through Open Table without any issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There seemed to be live music in the main room but we were sat by the door across from the bar. I had hoped that making reservations would have given us slightly better seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it seemed to be an older crowd. I think most people were 50+ years old.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Regardless, our waitress and any other employee we encountered were super friendly and helpful. We started with the three cheese soufflé. It was delicious but only came with three tiny pieces of bread which was barely enough to accompany half of the appetizer. For my meal, I wanted to order one of their crepes. It is a creperie after all. Our waitress recommended the spicy coconut shrimp crêpe so that's what I went with. It was good and came with a decent amount of shrimp. However, there was so much sauce that made it feel more like a soup than a crepe. The side salad was good, but again, slightly disappointing that it didn't come with any extra vegetables like carrots or tomatoes (or fruit like in the other Yelper's pictures). We finished the night with the Suzette's dessert crepes. I thought it said it came with a scoop of ice cream, but it turned out to just be a pile of whip cream that melted in 2 seconds. Otherwise, it was delicious. I felt like I could finally taste a crepe since I barely could with my entrée crepe.

I only visited the store area. Sampled Raspberry sorbet Purchased cookies from counter because they reminded me of old school cookies my GranPa used to eat and man o man these cookies are 10/10. I planned on surprising him with these but Im keeping these for myself. They are simply delectable.

First time trying this restaurant as I've heard about it for years. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so I would always associate crêpes with sweets, but they had a number of tasty sounding savory crêpes as well as quiche and other entrées. My friend and I decided to split two dishes to try the eggs with herbs as well as the beef crêpe. Both dishes came with a nice salad with fruits and a mini croissant that was delicious. We both really enjoyed the eggs that we're very soft scrambled with potatoes and crusty bread. Neither of us were a big fan of the beef crêpe, but would like to try the wild mushroom or spinach and Gouda next time. I've also heard they have an extensive fondue menu at dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really nice ambience with a few comfortable chairs by a fireplace and multiple rooms for sitting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitstaff was friendly and the carry out of pastries looked very tempting and extensive.

Oh, Suzette's, how I love thee. I love your buttery croissants, your velvety, sumptuous crêpes, your crisp and dry champagne... And the Suzette's Benedict was heavenly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always enjoy your welcoming, slightly worn ambiance; it's like visiting your elegant French aunt who would never leave the house without perfume and pearls[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Get the crème brûlée, you won't regret it!!

Suzette's Creperie could be a little more... better. In everything EXCEPT their eggs. Which are PERFECTION. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor could be better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating could be better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff could be better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor patio could be better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole vibe could be better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But those eggs are perfection.

If you miss Paris or you've never been. Perfect way to feel like you are there. Been years since I've been and came back today and cannot believe it's taken me so long to get back. Everything here, from walking in, being greeted, seated, great service, quick food delivery, amazing bakery, adorable setting, clean. I could go on and on. Center of Wheaton you can grab bakery to go, sit down to eat, and then get some bakery to go. Come back and get more bakery ;) I had the spicy coconut Thai shrimp crepe. Ohhhhh I could have eaten 2 plates although i would not have had room for dessert. Everything about that shrimp and crepe was perfection. Butter, I am sure of it, cream yeah whatever. Worth raising the cholesterol for this! I would have a hard time ever getting anything else but I can only imagine it's all amazing! As for dessert, I got the key lime bar and French silk baby hand pie to go. Both were amazing, all the way down to the little key lime candy on top. Get here now! Or tomorrow.

When I approached the counter no one acknowledged me so I said hi and an employee said hello back but didn't offer to take my order, so I assumed I needed to order at the tablet which is located before the seating and counter area. While placing my order, multiple people walked past me and ordered at the counter, so that was a little confusing. Those people were eating inside, though, so I thought maybe you need to use the tablet for take-out and order at the counter for eating in. To be honest, I'm still not sure. I assume if a person approaches the counter the employee should do more than just say hello and keep working, especially when I had to say it first, so that was a bit off-putting. I had perused their menu before my trip and wanted to try the breakfast pizza but when I saw it in person it looked old and dry so I decided to try the rice crispy treat instead. Well, it was so hard I had to microwave it when I got home just to be able to eat it. While it didn't taste stale, I don't think you should serve a rock hard rice crispy to someone and ask $4.50 to boot. All that said, the iced latte I ordered was exceptionally good, so I kept that in mind for the future. A few days ago I went back and ordered the same exact latte (via their app this time), just in a larger size. It tasted nothing like the one in January. Not only that, but after taking a sip and inquiring about getting some packets of sugar, I was told there were some around the corner from the counter. All I saw was fake sugar in packets and Sugar In The Raw in an open container with a spoon. Maybe I missed where the regular sugar was, I don't know. The whole area felt really disorganized and dirty which was a turn-off. For what they charge I expect fresher food and a consistent drink experience. I want to support small businesses but this place makes that hard. I won't be back.

In the middle of the cafe is a narrow hallway/corridor where the supply closet and the single stall bathroom is, so it segments the cafe into two areas, connected by this hallway in the center. The design feels very clearly like a remnant of an old historic building, and a brick alleyway runs along one side. In the space/room where you order (walking through the seating area and through the hallway), it opens up with huge windows and a huge industrial coffee grinder on full display. There's another counter to order, with a few pastry options, and along another side wall, a rack of F&H clothes for purchase and the drink menus. (The aesthetic reminded me of Blue Bottle.) I ordered an iced Whiskey Vanilla Latte with oak milk and it was good! I couldn't taste any whiskey at all, and when I ordered the barista had mentioned this (cooked off so you wouldn't taste it) so it was a decent vanilla latte. I'll give them props for a really cool unique flavor. We all grabbed our drinks and headed (back through the hallway) into the other room with the seating area. There is a small section with a couch, otherwise lots of tables and chairs and I was glad it wasn't too crowded so we were able to grab a table. This was a great spot to grab coffee and meet up with friends. It's in a neat little downtown area in Wheaton, and they offer creative coffee drinks, with beans and merch to purchase.
