We were at the cafe and noticed the juicery next door. So we decided to try it out. We walked in and the two girls just stared at us like we did something wrong so my wife asked if it was still open or if they were closed since we didn't see the hours posted until we left we noticed it was on the side of glass. The girl was ready to take our order and they both were nice just threw us off at first. We ordered the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie and an Açaí carrot cake bowl. The smoothie was being prepared and when blending it looked super chunky. Then I noticed the fruit and vegetables in the prep area fridge and I was pretty disgusted. The pineapple wasn't yellow it was half brown. I posted two pictures of this.The tomatoes where are rotten and the cheese and egg sitting there made me think, All this is bad and they just put strawberry in my smoothie. I didn't see any strawberry in there but I was disgusted I didn't want to try my drink but I spent a couple bucks on this. I tried it and it was decent but the chocolate bites on top were super hard and it was a bit chunky and needed a bit more sweetness. For the carrot açaí bowl it was very good. The place is nice and has a couple tables and chairs and if the picture the floor looks dirty it because the wind blew in leaves and it was raining. I would give it another try but I just hope the ingredients especially in front where people can see are fresh and not rotten. read more

A cute little juice bar with friendly employees, lovely decor, welcoming ambiance, and fresh ingredients. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, which made this a pleasurable visit. The sandwich was made fresh to order, well-seiner, and came out warm -- my sister thoroughly enjoyed it. The brownie has great ingredients and isn't overly sweet. It's a great balance of healthy yet satisfying. The Mangos & Cream fell flat. It was very icy, no mango or cinnamon or vanilla flavor, and a strong bitter turmeric aftertaste that was a little overpowering. I did add açaí to the purée, but since açaí on its own is pretty bland, I expected the other flavors to come through. The portions were adequate for fresh food, but it would be hard to make it an everyday spend for lunch. Overall, I enjoyed my visit but might need to try other menu items. read more

What an awesome smoothie shop! Located right in downtown Wheaton on Main St, there's tons of street parking and other lots right around the corner. First off this place is so much bigger on the inside than it appears. There's soooo much room; there's a cute little seating area in the back and a bar-like counter in the very front. I especially loved the picturesque green plant wall with a lit up Extract Juicery sign in the middle. So cute! There's lots of natural lighting in the front, too. The staff here was friendly and attentive! I got the Blue Mango smoothie because I've been loving blue spirulina lately and I always love mangos, so it was the perfect combo. The smoothie was SO GOOD!!! I drank it kinda really fast, yikes. I always appreciate a paper straw, too. I'm gonna come here again and try other smoothies along with an açaí bowl. I'll say I was PLEASANTLY surprised with this place - I have visited a few juice and smoothie shops in the area but this is now probably one of my faves. It's a cute shop located in Wheaton's downtown area - there are a few comfy chairs for seating in the back, tables and a bar facing the street to watch all the day people. Staff were very friendly and the place had a trendy vibe with what I believe a wall that could be used for selfies. I had the Strawberries and Cream smoothie - it was a party in my mouth, flavor was a burstin and it made my teeth smile. They use all fresh ingredients and almond milk which added a creaminess to the flavor. It was honestly hard to choose from their wonderful looking array of smoothie options. They EVEN have smoothies that contain coffee and peanut butter..wowwwsa. To end my visit, I took my smoothie on a walk to the park kiddy corner across the street. We went on a Saturday morning and it was nice and empty, as most people probably prefer coffee at this time. It's relatively spacious inside, and designed to be Instagram-friendly. The gentleman up front was very friendly, and menu selection was pretty good. After seeing pictures online, I already knew what I wanted -- the Blue Mango Smoothie! And boy was it blue. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted great. It contains mango, coconut water, spirulina, and banana, but the flavor was mostly mango with a hint of banana. Really good drink. I am not one to believe in health fads. I like to follow tried and true methods for overall well-being. I personally have been using vegetables and fruits for juicing to help myself with pain and swelling for spine issues. The location of Extract Juicery is in downtown Wheaton off of Main Street. The entire area is filled with awesome restaurants and boutiques. The whole area is so great to just sit and wander around when the weather is nice. I came upon extract Juicery as a suggestion from a Colleague and it was one of the best decisions I ever made to walk through that front door. The interior of Extract Juicery is very modern. There is ample seating to relax and enjoy your smoothie or juice. I had the pleasure of talking with general manager Barry and also with the owner Kevin. I had explained to him that I loved the benefits that certain vegetables and juice offered my overall well-being, but it was such a hassle to bottle and juice the fruits and vegetables myself. Kevin told me that one of his main reasons that he wanted to open this location up was that he was very passionate about the health benefits of juicing and wanted to share his passion and knowledge with the public. The problem lies in the education of the consumer that most people when they think of juicing or smoothies they automatically think of a generic form, such as Jamba Juice. I talked with Kevin for quite some time. I told him my personal story on why I think juicing is so great. A family member of mine had a very bad experience with Ibuprofen and I wanted to relieve my swelling and pain naturally. I had started juicing with celery juice and turmeric and the benefits were noticeable. Within a week I started to feel so much better and I noticed a major difference in my pain and swelling. I really think all of my readers should really go give this place a try and just try it for a couple days and see the benefits. Don't go here if you are in a hurry! We visited during lunch time and there was nobody else there and we still had to wait 15 minutes. We counted 5 employees on site, so it wasn't a matter of staffing. We ordered a salad and an acai bowl, nothing that was complicated, so we didn't understand such a long wait. Yes, it's a juicery, but we thought we would try something different. The salad was ok and my acai bowl could have been better. There was lots of pureed acai and some banana chunks but not much granola or other fruits. I was disappointed as I'm used to one chocked full of granola and other fruits. Maybe we should have stuck to a drink, but those were taking a long time too. All in all it was a big let down. read more

Hellz to the yeah because now this is my new favorite smoothie/juice spot. Today was my fourth visit in a row. Ha I am addicted. Freshly squeezed juice just tastes different, doesn't it? So far I have gotten Beetiful, Golden Pine, Orange Spice and Green Glow. Highly, highly recommend all of them because I'll be going back for seconds. I'm just gonna start with the bad: I went into the store and ordered some juice. I asked the guy to add a tip to the order. He tells me they don't accept electronic tips. I was confused. Previously I have ordered online, big orders because I buy juice for the entire family, and usually tip $50 per order. I asked the worker where the tips go for online orders if they don't accept electronic tips. He kinda just shrugged. "Sooo...you don't get the tips?" I asked. He said they don't. I asked to speak to the owner who was in the back. I was told he was in a meeting and couldn't speak with me so I was directed towards the manager. I asked the manager about the situation. He says they don't accept electronic tips. I asked where my previous $50 tips had been going. He tells me the store is saving the money for events for the staff. "You know, fun things like food outings etc." The manager was doing his best, but I can tell he's just been given some kind of scripted response to give to inquisitive customers. I'm just gonna say it flat out. Stealing your employees tips is scummy af. I've tipped over $200 altogether at this point expecting my money to go to the hard workers behind the counter. There was plenty of yogurt (at least, I think it was chocolate yogurt) in there, enough to justify the price ($11) and to think of it as being enough to replace a meal.
