This is the 3rd time ive ordered a egg Avocado wrap to either get no Avocado and pretend its an " accident" now less than teaspoon of Avocado if any on top of $10.99 for eggs and a tip. Ill get what I pay for at culvers or make something with my own Avocado. If you dont want to spend on Avocado just tell your customers. When asked about what kind of white fish? Just white fish was the answer. Kept all day in cafeteria style containers for hours. Im done fool me once should have been enough and its a shame I thought Nicole was an honest lady. I came here because of the overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews but is it really that good? Plenty of parking available. The inside is more spacious than in the pictures. I came here for breakfast. The owner was very generous. I ordered an avocado scrambled eggs wrap and strawberry mango green smoothie. The green smoothie was pretty good for the price. The wrap was stuffed with a generous amount of eggs and avocado. I wished the wrap didn't break apart so easily when I went to pick it up. There also wasn't much flavor in the wrap. I paid about $20 total. Overall, it was decent but not sure I'll return. It's about a 3.5 for me. read more

What a hidden gem! I came over years ago under different ownership but now the menu looked so appetizing I couldn't decide. The owners were so friendly and the place is welcoming filled with orchids. We stopped into Green Healthy Cafe for a quick bite and had a great experience. The owner was so sweet and friendly, explaining their mission of gluten free and sugar free food. Everything is very reasonably priced, my fish wrap was $11 and large portions. The wrap itself was juicy and filled with a large amount of fish and fresh vegetables. An amazing healthy food place! This is my third time here just trying different food. First two times I had the same entree of this whitefish with carrots and vegetables. It is super delicious and not stuffy or oily at all, but flavorful! Lentils soup is also great so is the wheatgrass juice! Personally I am not a big fan of the chicken broth. But when I was here last time and I saw a gentleman just came for a carry out of the chicken bone broth. So I am sure many people like it! This is a true hidden gem in Lisle. My husband and I visited for lunch on a Saturday. The place was very welcoming, cute, comfortable and extremely clean. The owner is a lovely friendly lady who explained their food and mission to have fresh, healthy delicious food. It was exactly that! I had the grilled chicken cob wrap Anna my husband had the chicken supper food wrap. I also had a cup of the vegetable soup. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The dressing is what made both wraps. Chicken was warm and tender with great grilled flavor. The cup of vegetable soup was also very good and seasoned well. All the name is true for this cafe. Green Healthy Cafe sure is what they call it. It probably is the healthiest place in Lisle. Has lots of local suppliers to make this very fresh food. The prices aren't bad for the freshness and the nutrition value. I had an Avocado Blueberry Green Smoothie for my beverage. It's about $5 for a pretty big one. This is made with avocados, bananas, blueberries, and mixed greens and is thick. Having this could have been a meal itself. This provides lots of protein and vegetables into an easy way to consume these. Even so we wanted to get some food. What I got was the Kale Energy Wrap. It's about $8 for a pretty big size wrap filler with lots of stuff. This has almonds, grape seed oil, kale, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese you leave off if wanting it vegan. It has a bit of a raw taste but it was still good. She had some kind of salad with berries and stuff on it. This also looked like a healthy and nutritious option. Both of us thought it was pretty good. It was kind of pricey for some things but it's a very small business and they use organic foods in many items. What a lovely little gem! I found the Green Healthy cafe because of the monthly Holistic Chamber of Commerce meetings they have there. The owner, Nicole, was sweet and welcoming. I tried the broccoli soup, which is made of only five ingredients and had no dairy or gluten in it. It was fantastic! Flavorful, interesting, healthy and substantial. Nicole makes everything from scratch (!) and focuses on healthy, gluten-free, and often dairy free items. There were a number of cute little tables and a couch and chairs area. Nicole, the owner, is gem. What a wonderful experience! Nicole makes everything herself here. It's delicious, filling, and healthy. We tried the lentil soup, broccoli "cheddar" soup, egg and avocado wrap, and chicken Cobb salad. All were so delicious. A great way to start your day (or year in my case!) off right. "Eat good, feel good" is Nicole's motto - and it's so so true. We will definitely be back. Also, Nicole was so kind to let us bring our dog!
