OMG OMG... Get the Ube filled brioche donut! I've been to several Tous Les Jours and this location is hands down my favorite. It's fairly large with several indoor spots to sit and stay awhile. The staff members were so nice!! I recommend coming earlier in the day to try and take advantage of everything being stocked. I came in on a Friday around 430pm and although the options were slim, I was able to get a few delicious items. Back to the Ube donut. UGH!! FULLY filled that I spilled so much of it on myself when I took the first bite. Worth it haha. The Ube actually tastes like Ube. AH! I cannot rave enough about how good this was. It was creamy, sweet but not overly sweet and so frickin delicious. The dough of the donut itself was perrrrrrf too. I actually came back the following day and got another 2 Ube donuts haha. I also got a red bean donut, a slice of the strawberry cloud cake a slice of the chocolate cloud cake and the soufflé cheesecake. I normally like red bean but I think bc the Ube donut was so good, it was impossible to compete with. The strawberry (and chocolate) cloud cakes were fluffy and not overly sweet. I had them the day after I bought it and both were still moist.
최저선 : The pastries and savory baked goods are fresh and flavorful. Worth a stop. Another more recent example of what you may find in a contemporary Paris pâtisserie/boulangerie but delivered by this self-described French Asian corporate chain. According to staff this chain is popular in S. Korea so they decided to try the concept here. The interior is rendered in warm, soothing tones. On a cold, windy winter day though, it was a bit chilly as there is no vestibule. Cold wind can rush right in so we picked a spot closer to the self serve line. Partially self serve, you pick your delectable delight. Coffee/beverages are ordered at the counter with juices in the refrigerated case. The food was good, still fresh. Perfect for a dip in your coffee. Prices are comparable to a Starbucks so you can easily drop $20 but it's nice treat. I would probably come back though if pressed to choose between alternatives I would choose this concept's direct competitor.
I met my sister for breakfast at this Tous Les Jours last week. This location doesn't open until 9am, which unfortunately is two hours later than the Lombard location. I think they're missing some customers who would come early that are working at companies nearby who would stop in before work. There was a line of people waiting to get in before 9am. I was completely wow'd when I walked in and saw all the bakery. They make sweet treats like macaroons and cakes, pastries, breads and breakfast items. I ordered a latte with an egg and bacon breakfast croissant and an Ube brioche. The lady heated up my breakfast croissant for me to enjoy warm. That Ube brioche is next level. So delicious! They also offer a variety of coffees. The staff here is super friendly and the store is very clean. I just wish they opened earlier. If you need a special cake, I highly recommend the cloud cake which is lighter than air and beautiful.
Pastries are delicious and nostalgic. The people are friendly and amazing. The ambiance is warm and cozy.
I love this bakery and the other location in China town. Although it's a little pricey the quality of the baked goods is wonderful. The apple caramel pie I got was so flakey and not overly sweet. Very kind and friendly service. Very clean environment.
It's been awhile since I've been here. I was really surprised that there were alot of pastries today. Usually when I go here, the pastries are almost sold out. I got twisted doughnut, some other pastries, and ube latte. The ambiance is cozy. A great place to hangout or study with friends. The service is very welcoming and helpful.
It's just crazy to me how soft each and every one of these parties are. Edible clouds? Yes please. I love super sweet things but some of the items aren't overly sweet, too, which my mom appreciates. Super bright lighting and some seating inside. Pretty good service and to go options. The milk bread makes a fab French toast at home.
Great selection of items. You could come here and pick up breakfast items if you want a quick meal. They also have tea, coffee, and smoothies. The cakes they have are very pretty and decorative. However, prices for cakes are very expensive for what you get. The cake we got was small and it was $40. Also, they need to improve their inventory so that their items are not sold out earlier in the day when they open. The parking lot is big but it can get filled up fast since they have a lot of other places in this strip mall. Service was very friendly and helpful.
A cute little bakery with a wide selection of baked goods. My absolute favorites are Kimchi Croquettes and Curry Croquettes. A perfect combination of crunchy fried dough on the outside and soft bun on the inside with a well balanced kick of spicy kimchi or curry. Come early as they always run out of these buns! I also got a couple of cakes from them in the last year and they were always fresh and delicious. The ladies working at the counter are friendly and polite. One star off for limited availability of baked goods. The prices are also on the higher end. Otherwise, this is a great place worth exploring. Keep those croquettes in stock and I will be back many, many times!

Stopped in on a whim while in Naperville and loved this spot! Everything looked almost too delicious to eat lol I had the matcha filled donut and it tasted soo fresh with PLENTY of filling inside. They do not skimp out on the filling at all! It wasn't overly sweet either, which honestly was refreshing. My daughter had a croissant and it was delicious, but she doesn't care for spicy cheese and there was a jalepeno cheese inside (I didn't mind though so I finished it). She also had a strawberry filled croissant which she loved! Said it tasted super fresh. Store is super aesthetic inside! Everything looked beautiful inside. Staff was also friendly and attentive. We will be back once we're in the area again. read more
Highly recommend visiting if you enjoy french-inspired korean bakery treats - staff is super friendly and many of the products sell out before end of day. If you're looking for cakes/macarons/some of their bakery products on the go, I would also recommend checking out the doordash as they often have a 25% off $12+ deal (but not the entire bakery selection and some products are upcharged slightly). Usually a fan of the soboro or mascarpone whipped cream loaf or taro cream loaf (really any of their whipped or taro cream products), but decided to try the curry croquette this time and it was delicious in flavor! Definitely don't sleep on their savory treats as well. Inside has nice tables for studying/dining in. Parking lot available. read more

This little bakery is located at Tower Crossing Associates in the back. This location is my favorite hidden gem for macarons - they are always supremely fresh and never disappoint. My personal favorite is, hands down, the Pistachio. I purchased one of their holiday cakes with vanilla cake and fresh strawberries for Christmas, and it was a huge hit. The staff is always so friendly when you stop in and always there to answer any questions. Remember to grab a loaf of the butter pan bread for the road and a cappuccino. read more

I can't believe it's taken me this long to find out the amazingness that is Tous Les Jours. This Korean-French bakery has the tastiest treats both sweet and savory. I haven't disliked anything that I've bought. Everything is perfectly balanced. The sweets are not "too sweet". I've had their almond croissant and milk cornet. I am in LOVE with their macarons. My favorite is the pistachio and coconut. The savory is not too heavy. I've had their sausage bread, onion bread, and I think one more I can't recall. Each time they were devoured within minutes of bringing them home. I've also had their Ube Latte which is a dream! Strong ube flavor and not too milky. I personally didn't taste any coffee in it but to me that made it even tastier. Their Tiramisu Latte is just as delicious. I love that they have special flavors you don't usually find. Huge tip- stick any of the pastries in the airfryer for a few seconds and it's perfectly warm and crispy. My only note in this location is that they have very slim selections. I've gone at different times during the day and it always looks half empty. In addition, prices are more expensive. Still I do love Tous Les Jours and it's really hard to find yummy Asian pastries around the area. I'm so glad they have one close to me but the one in Chinatown is truly the best with tasting more fresh, better prices, and more selection. Regardless, please give Tous Le Jours a shot and you won't be disappointed! read more
Best bakery and pastry shop in Naperville, hands down! You honestly cannot go wrong with whatever pastry or bread that you choose from here, and there is a wide selection from which to pick. My personal top favorites are the almond puff pastry, the shrimp dumpling croquette, the milky bread, the hot dog croissant, and literally all of their cakes, but there are tons of other options that I am sure are just as good. The ambiance and aesthetic of the interior is nice as well, and it makes for a great place to meet up with friends over coffee/pastries or as a nice study place! read more

I have been to this location so many times and I am never disappointed. The only problem is that items become more limited later in the day. They don't over stock items since everything is made fresh for the day. I have also visited their Schaumburg location and the most impression location with the largest quantity of items to choose from is the Chinatown location. The ladies that work at the Naperville location are always very nice and give a friendly greeting when customers walk in. The shelves and cases where the pastries are kept are very clean and it makes for a tempting presentation of each pastry. I like to get there early so I have free reign of whatever I want. I usually walk out with at least 6 different things to eat throughout the day. I like to start off with any of the fried croquettes or any of their pastries with cheese, hotdogs, onions and sweet res sauce. They are savory and sweet. My go to and a must every time I go is to snag the Taro Cream Bread. I'll take every one they have available with every visit. The fragrance of the taro cream is heaven. It is light, fluffy and has just the right amount of sweet. All of their croissants are delicious and they have a good variety like chocolate, almond, plain and a few more. Their Portuguese Egg Tart and red bean options are more traditional options that they do well. This past January I also bought the whole confetti cake and it was light and very good. I've had most of their cakes so you can't go wrong with any option. There is also a large selection of French macaroons as well. Their selection is awesome and they provide a unique alternative to the typical bakeries that sell donuts, cinnamon rolls, and everyday typical items. Their prices per item are high but it is worth every penny if you appreciate good quality food. read more

I got a mango slice and a cloud cake #1. Both cakes are soft and just melt in your mouth. The mango cake has a tangy and sweet taste. I love it so much and plan to get a whole cake this time. I love the fresh berries on the cloud cake. It also has strawberries inside. I don't think these cake are overtly sweet like some can be from other stores. These are also not rich. They're light, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The cream doesn't taste buttery or heavy at all! Will definitely try the other flavors! read more

Make sure you come early in the day. Went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and the store was basically empty. It looked like it got robbed! (They didn't, just looked like it since nothing was available) The only thing that remained were the cakes inside the fridge and the prepackaged castella cakes. So... had to go again next weekend on a Saturday morning and it was much more stocked. There were just lines of bread and different buns to choose from. Of course, I'd go for their classic milk bread! Just like the other chains, the milk bread is super soft with a cream filling. I was super hungry and having that was super satisfying. I literally gulped it down in less than a minute. I've had their cakes previously, and if you like whip cream, go for it! Seems to me that most korean bakery cakes (ie Paris baguette) use a lot of cream to make the cakes super pretty. It's definitely not as heavy as western American styled cakes but a lighter and airier kind of cream and cake overall. If you've been wanting to have some asian buns, drinks, and desserts in Naperville area, definitely the place to go. But make sure you go early enough to still have bread left to buy! read more

After watching some Asian bakery stuff on TV, my wife and I were tempted to try something similar. Tous Les Jours seemed to fit the bill. It closes at 5:30 pm, so I took a quick trip around 1 pm. The selection of baked goods on the shelves was scarce, so this is a place you should get to early. I decided to skip the bready items and go for a slice of cake instead. They had typical flavors like chocolate ganache, strawberries & cream, and cookies & cream. However, I chose a less common ware -- mango mousse. They packaged it nicely and I appreciate the artisanship. Service was friendly, too. I have to admit, I cringed a little at the $7 price tag for a single slice of cake, but I reminded myself that this was a gourmet offering compared to cakes from, say, Jewel. Well, enough with the suspense... The cake was delicious. The quality of both the cake part and cream were superior to the cake and frosting you'd find on a Walmart cake with myriad ingredients. It was light and airy, creamy and delicate. There was a nice tartness to this particular flavor, which was interesting and different. Very good overall. But at these prices, it would have to be a very rare treat. read more

I called and was told they always close at 8pm. Does anyone know for sure if Yelp has the hours wrong?
I believe they initially wanted to stay open until 10pm, but since not a lot of customers were going in past 8pm, they updated their hours to end at 8. Hope this helps!
