The space is very nice and open with lots of seating. The day that we went the service was very slow but we got there eventually. My friend and I both got a pistachio latte but mine was very green and hers was not - so some inconsistencies there. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. The cafe area itself could use some more cleaning and the couch area/seating definitely needs a deep clean.

Always serve high-quality coffee & tea! Service is fast. Love their ambient lighting & decor. They also offer a selection of pastries, not as many as the other Arabic coffee houses, but enough to satisfy cravings. Quite a few board games you can choose from. Always loud & lively in here & open until very very late!

I stopped by to pick up a drink to-go. I've been seeing Haraz from Route 59 and was curious to try them out. You can see their string lights gleaming from the road, and their interior is so artfully designed. I was in the mood for some matcha so I ordered a mango matcha with oat milk. The price is a little steep ($8.50 for a matcha drink) with tax, tip, and my oat milk substitution I spent over $10 on a drink. I asked about their other matcha options and the lady taking my order said strawberry and lavender. She was pleasant and nice. There is also a glass case is sweet and savory baked items for your choosing. After I ordered I was given a tag that will beep when my order was ready; I loved this efficiency, no need to yell first names across the cafe. While this spot probably won't be in my regular rotation for an "everyday coffee or beverage" the ambiance is great to linger and catch up with a friend. If you order iced drinks for here, they will be served in a beautiful branded glass jar that resembles a wide-lipped ehrlenmeyer flask. This cafe is definitely a place to come hangout for a few hours. They have wifi and their interior is clean and gorgeous - 4 stars!

Beautiful café, but the freshness and quality could be much better Haraz Café in Aurora is a beautiful place. I've noticed that most Middle Eastern cafés I visit are always over the top with their decoration, and this one is no exception. The interior design is stunning and I loved the attention to detail, they even had beard oil in the bathroom which you almost never see anywhere. However, the food and drinks didn't impress me. I love matcha, but I didn't order it because I noticed they were storing it in a clear container. Matcha should always be kept in dark, airtight packaging to preserve its flavor, color, and freshness. When it's exposed to light, it oxidizes and loses quality. That already told me it probably wasn't being handled properly. So I decided to go for coffee instead. I tried the pistachio latte and the salted caramel one. Both were very sweet, but that's partly on me since I didn't ask for less sugar. The flavor itself was good, but the drinks weren't really hot, just warm, which isn't my favorite. As for the food, I ordered a beef pie, and it really wasn't fresh. The items displayed in the counter case also didn't look fresh at all, which was disappointing because presentation matters, especially in a café that looks this beautiful. Service was fine, not bad, not great, just okay. The place itself is spacious, perfect to sit, study, or hang out for a while, and the menu is very wide with lots of drinks, both hot and cold, which I liked. Overall, I'd say it's a lovely café to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, but the freshness and product handling really need improvement. Especially with things like matcha, which require extra care and quality control.

We've been to the Haraz location in Orland Park, which seems somewhat small inside because it's narrow but long. This location feels bigger, and it's beautiful inside. It has a nice color scheme with black, gold, green, and woodsy tones. It looks and feels warm, and the artistic touches are nice, such as the geometric wall panels. We ordered a saffron latte and a mufawar. My wife found the saffron latte a little low on sugar, so she added a packet. The mufawar was excellent, one of the best I've had. Please note that the coffee drinks are served very, very hot, so you'll have to wait a while before enjoying. Aside from coffee and tea drinks, they had a good selection of desserts and some savory items. They also sell bags of coffee beans. Pricing was on the higher side; our two drinks came to $18 with tax & tip. Service was excellent.

I got a Qishr; a coffee husk, cinnamon, and ginger hot drink. It was not what my palate is accustomed to but I enjoyed the full throat flavor and ginger. I got the drink unsweetened and I think it would be delicious sweetened as well. I sat in the shop to do some work from my computer and enjoyed the seating. There were many areas to choose to sit and despite multiple groups being present the noise level did not become bothersome. It looks like there is a quiet room as well so if you like a quiet space it looks like they have it! The desserts looks insanely pretty and I would have tried one but they look a bit expensive. I mean, the tea I got was $6 for a cup. It's very good but I would only visit occasionally due to the price.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.
