Overall, I think if they added a bit more spice it would add that touch that makes them stand out amongst the thousands of adeni chai in this city. It was missing something compared to when I tried it originally. The staff was nice and answered all questions. The ambiance was very aesthetic and welcoming. The Abrars smoothie was good, I asked what elements went into the smoothie and loved that they used fresh ingredients like real banana, pb, dates and whey protein with less additives. Keep that up. The chicken puff was not good at all. First, it was $6.99, which I did not mind paying but the quality of the product was below average. They heated it up but it seemed old and the chicken inside was like a paste. It seemed like it had been sitting for a while and it was just a big glob of mush altogether. I wish it was more dry, and lacks flavor. This needs to be better. At this point, I don't know if I would ever try any other food here.

Overall, I love my time spent and business with Matari Coffee, they are definitely a go to spot to do work, to talk with peers, and most importantly treating oneself to a new experience. We ordered choco Turkish cake, baklava cheesecake, and two different kinds of matcha cloud. The choco Turkish cake was tasty. It wasn't too rich. The baklava cheesecake is lighter and it gets a little crispy at the bottom. We got one matcha cloud with blueberry and the other one with coconut water. You can also choose how much sugar you want. Mine was fine with 50% sugar since blueberries are already sweet.

FULLY filled that I spilled so much of it on myself when I took the first bite. Worth it haha. The Ube actually tastes like Ube. AH! I cannot rave enough about how good this was. They sell French and Korean infused pastries and cakes that are a bit pricier than most. I think they should at least have nice boxes to put the pastries in rather than wrapping it up in plastic and stuffing it in a plastic bag. There weren't many options and service was eh. The lady who rang us up wasn't very friendly and ignored my husband a few times.

My nieces also tried the chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon sugar donut bites with caramel sauce. They liked the cookies but thought they'd be more warm/fresh out of the oven. They loved the donut bites with that tasty caramel sauce though. I think I might give the pretzel bites option a try next time I stop in. The shop has a really clean look and feel. It's pretty hands off with kiosk ordering and digital menus but when the staff did interact with customers they were friendly. The beverages are obviously better than the food in terms of price and quality. For sure it's got lots to choose from. It's in front of the one strip mall with Target and some other stores.
