Haraz Coffee House is fabulous. The coffee and atmosphere is top tier. I've been here 3X within 5 days. I simply love it. The coffee is bold and rich. I'm totally a dark roast girly. I've also tried the Salted Caramel Latte which is delicious too. My daughter loves her Chocolate Mocha Latte. Toasted Croissants are so very tasty. So many sweet treats are available, and they all look amazing. Haraz is totally winning. From the moment you walk in, you know it's going to be good. Have to give a special shout out to the staff. The ambiance is amazing! Floor to ceiling windows to get plenty of natural light. The spacing of the tables is perfect and there's a private room perfect for groups. Service was extremely slow because they were short staffed and the online orders were piling up. I waited on my order for 30 minutes. Good thing I was there to sit for a couple hours while I worked. I ordered the banana latte with an almond croissant. The latte was good but I wished the milk was infused with banana instead of the flavored sprinkles on top. The almond croissant was not worth $11. It was impossible to cut and whatever mixture was in the middle was too sweet. I'll come back to try another latte and maybe a specialty cheesecake slice. 3.5 but rounding up. I have mixed feelings about this place. I want to love it, and I kind of do, but not enough to give it a solid 4. A friend and I stopped in during a weekday AM. Place was packed and seems to be a spot where most take their work laptop and huddle up here. They even have a closed conference room which can be reserved. The place is beautiful with a lot of natural light. Floor to ceiling windows really does it for me. Service throughout was a tad slow but they were busy, no problem. The iced coffee selection from here is limited. They basically only have 2 iced coffee options. The other iced drinks are matchas or a matcha + fruit combo. I tried the iced saffron latte and thought it was pretty good. The presentation was great and flavors were different from what I'm used to. I'm glad I tried it. Had the most amazing dairy free pistachio latte here with the strongest authentic pistachio flavor I've ever had. It was so delicious that I followed it with a cardamom latte, which was also very nice. However, every nut lover really owes it to themselves to try the pistachio latte, IMHO. Service was very friendly and advised me well on DF ordering. I loved that this coffee shop had board games at the front, like they're really trying to welcome guests and not just churn people out ASAP. The space is very nice and open with lots of seating. The day that we went the service was very slow but we got there eventually. My friend and I both got a pistachio latte but mine was very green and hers was not - so some inconsistencies there. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. I stopped by to pick up a drink to-go. I've been seeing Haraz from Route 59 and was curious to try them out. You can see their string lights gleaming from the road, and their interior is so artfully designed. I was in the mood for some matcha so I ordered a mango matcha with oat milk. The price is a little steep ($8.50 for a matcha drink) with tax, tip, and my oat milk substitution I spent over $10 on a drink. I asked about their other matcha options and the lady taking my order said strawberry and lavender. She was pleasant and nice. There is also a glass case is sweet and savory baked items for your choosing. After I ordered I was given a tag that will beep when my order was ready; I loved this efficiency, no need to yell first names across the cafe. While this spot probably won't be in my regular rotation for an "everyday coffee or beverage" the ambiance is great to linger and catch up with a friend. If you order iced drinks for here, they will be served in a beautiful branded glass jar that resembles a wide-lipped ehrlenmeyer flask. Beautiful café, but the freshness and quality could be much better Haraz Café in Aurora is a beautiful place. I've noticed that most Middle Eastern cafés I visit are always over the top with their decoration, and this one is no exception. The interior design is stunning and I loved the attention to detail, they even had beard oil in the bathroom which you almost never see anywhere. However, the food and drinks didn't impress me. I love matcha, but I didn't order it because I noticed they were storing it in a clear container. Matcha should always be kept in dark, airtight packaging to preserve its flavor, color, and freshness. When it's exposed to light, it oxidizes and loses quality. That already told me it probably wasn't being handled properly. So I decided to go for coffee instead. I tried the pistachio latte and the salted caramel one. Both were very sweet, but that's partly on me since I didn't ask for less sugar. The flavor itself was good, but the drinks weren't really hot, just warm, which isn't my favorite. As for the food, I ordered a beef pie, and it really wasn't fresh. The items displayed in the counter case also didn't look fresh at all, which was disappointing because presentation matters, especially in a café that looks this beautiful. Service was fine, not bad, not great, just okay. The place itself is spacious, perfect to sit, study, or hang out for a while, and the menu is very wide with lots of drinks, both hot and cold, which I liked. Overall, I'd say it's a lovely café to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, but the freshness and product handling really need improvement. I placed an order on 9/12 of $50.72 I ordered from their website which is apparently through toast. Well their power went out and their employee standing outside informed me of outage and said at this point they were refunding all ordered placed because they could fill ordered. It is now 9/15 and NO refund. I called 12 times before someone finally picked up and was told they can't refund me that I have to contact toast! Seriously what kind of business is this! They also had a great variety of pastries and food options that I would love to try next time. The cafe has a lot of seating and plenty of outlets, which makes it a great spot for working or studying. My mom and I decided to come in here after seeing them on tiktok but the experience was anything but good. We came in and no one spoke to us and then we told them it was our first time here and no one suggested anyone worth us trying or anything. They continued talking and giggling to each other. We finally order what we want which was the ived adeni brew and a salted caramel latte. We waited 10mins for two drinks and it was not busy AT ALL. Once we received our drinks my ice was melted and my mom's drink was barely lukewarm. We asked for it to be warmed up and they again giggled to each other. It felt like they made our drinks and forgot about them because they were talking and then finally poured them. Honestly the drinks were 8/10 but the customer service was so bad I would never suggest coming here to people I know. We've been to the Haraz location in Orland Park, which seems somewhat small inside because it's narrow but long. This location feels bigger, and it's beautiful inside. It has a nice color scheme with black, gold, green, and woodsy tones. It looks and feels warm, and the artistic touches are nice, such as the geometric wall panels. We ordered a saffron latte and a mufawar. My wife found the saffron latte a little low on sugar, so she added a packet. The mufawar was excellent, one of the best I've had. Please note that the coffee drinks are served very, very hot, so you'll have to wait a while before enjoying. Aside from coffee and tea drinks, they had a good selection of desserts and some savory items. They also sell bags of coffee beans. I got a Qishr; a coffee husk, cinnamon, and ginger hot drink. It was not what my palate is accustomed to but I enjoyed the full throat flavor and ginger. I got the drink unsweetened and I think it would be delicious sweetened as well. I sat in the shop to do some work from my computer and enjoyed the seating. There were many areas to choose to sit and despite multiple groups being present the noise level did not become bothersome. It looks like there is a quiet room as well so if you like a quiet space it looks like they have it! The desserts looks insanely pretty and I would have tried one but they look a bit expensive.
