The decor here is really nice and comfortable for a boba place...lots of very comfy seating. The selection of boba is unique and good. I got the coconut dragon fruit and the boba tasted so fresh. The service was good. The cashier was nice to give suggestions. We sat and just talked and enjoyed our boba.
Came here while we were waiting for our buzzer to go off for the sushi place next door. It seems like a very "hip" place. It was extremely busy for a small place. Luckily, we were able to find a seat. There were several people who had to stand and drink/eat. The place has a dim, modern, but calm feel to it. The tea was really good. Mine didn't come with the balls in it, but the flavor was really good. The sizes are large, too. The staff was friendly and working diligently to keep up with the orders. I'd come back again if we're in the area and are grabbing sushi again.
I've been back to this cozy boba shop multiple times since discovering it a few months ago. Staff is always friendly and willing to advise/help with menu options. Drinks are fully customizable & always ready within a couple minutes even on a busy day. Our drinks have always been consistent, very well crafted and not overly sweet (sweetness level is customizable in every drink too). Our favorites so far have been the coconut matcha (so good!!!) and oolong tea w/ cheese foam. Although, I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu here. I always leave Vannie's House looking forward to being back again!

But that day has arrived, and we are seriously spoiled for choice for bubble tea in the Naperville/Aurora area. Vannie's has been here for a bit but I hadn't had a chance to try it out until now. Every shop's offerings are a bit different and they have a variety including fruit teas, milk teas, cheese foams, etc. I tried a "lava" drink, which I had never had before: Specifically, the Brown Sugar Butterfly Pea Iced Lava Milk. I had only ever seen the butterfly pea flower used in tisanes or to color lemonade a bright sky blue; combined with the milk, it made me think of bantha milk from "Star Wars"! The bottom of the glass was a delicious sludge of the brown sugar "lava" -- and yes, it is hot (or at least warm); combined with the iced drink it's an interesting combination. A small drink was over $6, which seemed a bit pricey compared to other places in the area. The setting is dim, cozy and plant-filled, with a large neon sign proclaiming "You are BeauTEAful" on one wall. This parking lot is a bit zany on weekends, so be cautious!

I was surprised at how chill it was given the usually bustling atmosphere but then realized it was closer to the end of the day. This spot has kind of spoiled me when it comes to boba because their iced coffee options are the best I've tasted. I appreciate that the drink is consistently tasty with perfectly chewy boba every time I go. I've sampled a taste from the drinks of friends and family and those have been well made too. Staff is always friendly and willing to give suggestions and the service is usually quick so don't be too off-put if you arrive and there is a long line.

Amazing boba tea spot! Vannie's hands out punch cards for free drinks once you've come back a certain number of times. I personally enjoy the Salted Cheese Tea Vanilla W/ Tapioca, as well as the Pina Colada Slushee W/ Lychee Jelly. Ladies working at the order counter have always been extremely kind and helpful! The interior is also very cute- There is a photo opp towards the back wall.
I had my first visit today. It wasn't necessarily my favorite Boba tea I've ever had but that might just be because of my personal choices and not really knowing what I'm doing! I also didn't know I was supposed to shake it up and I will do so next time. The place had a good ambience, it was clean, and there was a really wide and interesting selection. I will definitely be back!
The ambiance is really nice! Great place to hang out or study with your friends. The service was alright, they were nice and offered us some samples of other tea. The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks read more

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots! After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area. read more

Cute little spot! There was a wait at the sushi spot next door so we stopped in for drinks. Great customer service. Drinks came out quickly. Big variety of drinks from Boba to tea to coffee. I would recommend! It did get a little noisy in there. read more

Absolutely loved this Boba shop! Interior was beautiful, the boba was probably one of the best I've had in a while, and the drink overall was amazing! Sode note: I definitely recommend mixing the drinks well to make sure the sweetness js evenly distributed. Will be coming back! read more

One of the best boba shops in the Chicago suburbs! Everything taste so fresh and homemade, plus their decor is such a vibe. Their prices are reasonably priced plus they have tons of options to pick from. : not really sure what butterfly pea taste like but it was delicious. The boba was also perfectly chewy and sweet. : super refreshing fruit tea, plus I've never had dragonfruit popping boba so that was a great addition. This has now been one of my favorite spots to come to for milk tea in the suburbs! Vannie's is such a cute spot!! Their menu is great with a lot of different options for everyone. I feel like I always get a few of the same things on the menu I always rotate.....there will be a day where I will be branching out. I like how I can definitely taste the tea in the milk tea because some places, you can't even taste the tea and to my preference, it is not too sweet as well. The drinks they make are consistent which is a really good thing. The customer service is great and sometimes I like to call ahead of time to place my order to pick up and they are happy to do that for me which is great because I usually like to be in and out of places; especially during this time. I'm always looking forward to coming back here!! read more

I ordered a Salted Cheese Tea, for which the menu specifically states "topped w/ salted cheese foam". Sure enough, the drink came without any foam topping. It was a normal iced milk tea. I was a little pissed off because this was the second time in about a month that I ordered this type of tea and it came with no foam. The foam is the whole reason I ordered. The previous time was at another shop, and when I spoke with the manager about it, her accent was so heavy that I couldn't understand her. This time I brought the sealed drink + receipt back to the cashier and showed them a picture on their own Yelp page where another customer posted a Salted Cheese Tea. The worker was friendly and apologized, and offered to remake the drink. Thankfully it was remade correctly and it was good. I ordered it with less sugar (25%) and appreciated being able to enjoy the drink without getting an energy crash from the excess carbs. (My wife felt her drink was too sugary.) The presentation looked nice with the foam at top, and the boba was cooked to perfection. Aside from that, the interior is classy; the brick wall with mounted plants looks nice. The seating is somewhat limited, though. read more

A+ for aesthetics and a photo worthy bubble tea. Unfortunately the drinks we got were just way too sweet. I am not sure (and didn't see on the menu) if sweetness is adjustable. What we ordered: * classic brown sugar with crunchy boba 7/10 * classic brown sugar with crunchy boba 5/10 * brown sugar butterfly pea 7/10 Two of us didn't finish our drinks. If we ever went back we wouldn't get jellies because it just made the drinks even sweeter. Overall if the sweetness is adjustable I would say make sure you adjust it to less sweet! read more

Every time I am in the area, I make the excuse to stop by Vannie's! The staff is very friendly, and they make your order in a timely fashion. There is a pretty big menu and I try to explore as best I can, but always come back to their Thai iced milk tea with boba. It's not too sweet and their boba is always so chewy and soft. I can always count on them to make a consistent yummy drink I love spending a few minutes there to enjoy my drink with their ample seating and clean space. I love how late they are open so I can get my late night boba fix! Make sure to grab a punch card when you order, you'll be sure to be back. read more

I've been about 6-7 x and service is good. Drinks typically arrive fast despite being quit busy. Would not recommend if you are looking to bring laptop and work or study since it's across from the mall and busy with younger customers. They do give 10% disc for healthcare and military. I recently gave myself the title "bubble tea connoisseur" and wow... Vannie's brown sugar is AMAZING!! Very good drinks, cute ambiance, and service is ok-- I actually found a hair in my drink the first time I went, and when I asked for a large they gave me a small. If they didn't have such good bubble tea, I would've deducted a star. but really great drinks, would recommend!! read more

Tried out this new boba place next to Fox Valley today, and overall the interior decor was very nice and modern, but the boba itself was quite pricey and way too sweet for me! Next time I'll ask if they can adjust the sweetness (forgot to ask this time) but this seems like a great place to hangout with friends once they open indoor seating back up. read more
Decided to check out the new boba spot in town. Lots of parking, which is always a plus. Very welcoming ambiance. Perfect place to just sit down and chill, like a coffee house. Great spot for catching up with friends. I tried the brown sugar with boba pearls (extra $) lava milk and I can honestly say it tastes just like the famous brown sugar boba ice cream everyone is crazy about. I had to get it 2 days in a row because it's refreshingly delicious! So make sure to try it! I will definitely be back to try the other drinks Mask is required. Hand sanitizers are available by the register. Tables are distanced. Very clean. read more

I didn't have many expectations coming in but I was blown away! The ambiance is absolutely stunning. Every corner of the cafe was decorated and well thought out. This place is perfect to hang out with friends or to even study! There were also a lot of fresh orchids around the room which really brought the entire look together. They were also smart to have the light fixture- I can see them gaining a lot of exposure through this! We ordered two Brown Sugar Butterfly Pea Iced Lava Milks, a Mango Iced Lava milk, and an almond croissant. We loved everything! The first sip was heavenly. The boba is really tasty- super soft and chewy. It was an additional 65 cents. You can tell they make it fresh (it's nice and warm). I will say, after you mix it, the milk does kind of overpower at the end. I loved the Mango so much! I've tried many Mango drinks before and this one has got to be my favorite! The mango has a unique taste that I can't really explain other than it's not your usual mediocre mango flavor. One thing I noticed though is that they were quite heavy on the ice. Next time, I'll ask for light ice. The Almond Croissant blew me away. It was so fresh and so delicious- even better than Panera! One thing I will note is that it is quite pricey. I'm not new to boba and have visited enough places like this to know in general boba isn't cheap but for a single drink it came to $7. Normally, I would be fine with that if the size was fair but the photos you see below are a size large which in my opinion, seems more like a regular instead of a large. Especially since there was a lot of ice and it is pretty milky, it can be a little bit overpriced. The Almond Croissant was fair in portion and in price! I will definitely come back and try more from their menu! I can't wait till COVID is over so I can bring a group over here. They were smart to pick this location- there's a sushi place next door and the mall is right next to it. Service was great and I loved that they didn't rush us when looking at the menu. I'm not sure but I believe the owner was a man and he was so kind and very sweet! I would honestly make the 25 minute trip from my home just for that almond croissant and mango milk. I look forward to my next visit! They should be proud of themselves for a beautiful establishment. read more

I've been here twice now. I was so excited to return after my first time, and did so today. I probably should have tried something new, but I so loved my honeydew boba smoothie that I just had to have it again. We brought our seventeen year old this time and she also loved it. She had taro tea. My husband had iced coffee with brown sugar. He, too, ordered the same drink as on our first appointment. I've including some photos I took of the beautiful interior. It has a cool vibe and is spacious and comfortable. I'm very happy that a place was bold enough to open during the pandemic, and seems to be getting some good traffic. I highly recommend treating yourself to a wonderful beverage here, made with care and quality ingredients. read more

This place is so cute! I love the decor and atmosphere. The boba was a perfect texture, not too chewy and not too hard. It wasn't too sweet which is a common brown for brown sugar boba so that was great! I regret getting the smallest size but I will be back to try more! Kind of on the pricier side compared to the boba spots in the area. Great place though! read more
