Everest has both! I tried the lotus biscoff cookie butter avalanche (reg size) and LOVED it. The vanilla custard is creamy, delicious and has the perfect texture. I tried my husband's chocolate based avalanche and equally enjoyed the chocolate custard as well. ...I don't like that I'm admitting this.. LOL.. but I finished my entire sweet treat in 1 sitting while my husband had leftovers. This place had my self control out the window, it really is a great spot to end the night at. Andy's vs Everest? My vote is for Everest in all aspects. Service was quick, quality of desserts are top notch and the space itself is inviting with 25ish places to sit. It also has a very cute photo op spot!

We were pleasantly surprised to discover a business that could serve both of these needs so that we didn't split our group after having a delicious meal at Xi'an cuisine. The interior here is quite fun, similar to other spots in the Naperville area. There's several nice opportunities for creating social media worthy pictures and the amount of seating is fairly good for a dessert spot. The menu isn't the trendiest as it covers popular options for custard and bubble tea, but not the more unique options available in some other restaurants in the area. If it weren't located near a competitive market in the Naperville / Aurora area, this would rank a bit higher as you'll find more here than lots of spots in the Schaumburg to Oakbrook area. Presentation is a bit on the simpler side, but still fairly good. The quality of the ingredients was pretty good as well. Service wasn't super fast as there was only 1 person preparing all the orders, though the wait was surprisingly not too long. Prices feel a little on the higher side, but not unreasonable given the area.

The boba itself was good with a nice chewy texture, but the drink was pretty underwhelming overall. The cream on top wasn't very tasty, and the coffee flavor tasted a bit too artificial for my liking. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't anything memorable. Overall, it satisfied the craving for a drink, but I probably wouldn't order this one again.

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks

I don't come to the mall much any more, but when I do I always try to stop here. In my opinion, Ma Tea House is the most authentic bubble/boba tea you can get in the area (credentials: I've been to Taiwan!). The flavors are so strong and rich, they don't fill your cup up with 95% ice, and the tapioca is amazing. I've gotten a wide variety of drinks from here but my go to is the coffee milk tea with tapioca. Every other place I've been to that I've tried coffee milk tea at always falls short, I'm always comparing it to Ma's. I've also tried their Bao buns and liked them a lot! The people who work here are very sweet, I love interacting with them and I truly do believe they deserve the business. I know the Fox Valley Mall isn't what it used to be, and most of the anchor stores are closed, but I promise you this is a hidden gem tucked away in a vacant anchor store spot in the mall that's worth every penny.

We got our fill of freshly cooked Taiwanese food before stocking up on your Asian groceries, walking off a full belly at Park to Shop (Aurora). My husband ordered the pork belly bento box meal that comes with a drink of choice. We got the passionfruit tea qq and by we it's really just me; a fruit tea all to myself :) I ordered the curry beef brisket bento. This option was not available for a "meal" that comes with a drink in the price. All bentos came with a soy braised egg (the yolk was jammy and perfect) and some pickled yellow daikon. The food was freshly prepared to order. When you walk in, there's actually several options to order. You can 1) order at the kiosk by the cashier 2) place your order with the friendly woman behind the desk or 3) sit down at a table and order using the QR code at each table. The space was modern and clean, with a few tables near the front entrance that would fit a party of 4, but mostly tables and chairs along the side wall that would fit 2. Seating is similar to what you'd see at a standard cafe (like one that serves espresso/coffee drinks) so it might not be the best place if you have a large party and want to sit together. There was a friendly men and woman who were cooking in the kitchen and taking/servers orders, respectively. It was definitely a mom and pop vibe, which I love and am happy to support their business. Taiwanese noodle soup is on their menu but it's "coming soon." Once their noodle soup is being served, we will definitely be back to try it. It would be perfect during the colder months. Five stars!

Occasionally, I'll opt for the V062 Marinated Pork Chop with Honey Sausage and Fried Eggs, which is always delicious. Located in Pacifica Square near the Fox Valley Mall, it's such a fun, cozy atmosphere. They usually play acoustic guitar covers of pop songs in the background, which adds a really nice touch to the experience. I ordered the churro donut and really enjoyed the flavor, sweet without being too overpowering, The texture was fun and different. That said, I think I still personally prefer a more traditional donut. Also, the price felt a little steep for what it was, though the overall experience was enjoyable. The shop itself has a very clean, modern, and inviting aesthetic, which made it a pleasant place to visit. They also offer Korean corn dogs and fruit teas, which looked really good. I didn't try them this time, but I'd definitely come back to give them a shot. It's definitely an out-of-the-way grocery trip for me, but the Park to Shop Aurora location is much closer than say, driving the Chinatown for Asian groceries. I am glad I can get what I need here, the prices are average/accessible, and there are so many options to eat Pacifica Square so it's fun to make a little trip out of it.
