Tried the baseline black milk tea. You get a familiar hint of what the drink should be but it is very watered down. There's not enough creaminess nor tea flavor. Boba not chewy enough and have no sweetness. Staff were friendly.

Spades Tealife is the first thing you'll see in Park to Shop grocery store's little food hall area. Bubble tea is all the rage, and you're certainly paying for it. Fortunately Spades does a pretty good job at mixing a good boba tea. The variety of drinks is decent without being overwhelming, but I have to say that I prefer the fruit drinks at other places since they mix in real fruit. Spades is mostly dealing in mixes and tea, and you need to be a tea connoisseur to truly enjoy it. Even then, it's a bit pricey for tea. All in all, I'm grateful to have more boba tea options, but the bar is higher with the competition around.

The bubble tea shop is located inside Park to Shop grocery store in the food court. It's decent but not great that I want to come back often. I tried out a new drink, strawberry milk tea which was pretty but tasted so artificial and beyond sweet for my taste.

I was greatly looking forward to having a Taiwanese bubble tea shop here in the Naperville/Aurora area, but sadly, the shop isn't that impressive. Service is really slow, and it can sometimes take at least 15 minutes to get your drink prepared. The drinks are also pretty expensive compared to other similar stores, and to be honest, I could spend the same amount of money for a much higher quality drink at Starbucks Reserve or bubble tea shops in downtown Chicago/the northern suburbs (some of which offer homemade boba!). However, it is convenient to have this shop inside the Park to Shop food court, especially when none of the other shops inside have any significant drink options.

Wow! Automatically charges 12% tip !!

This place automatically charges 12% tip for smoothie drinks!!! The drinks is not that great anyway. Holy smokes!!!

I think I like my husband's black milk tea more than my brown sugar milk...still not bad, just that his black milk tea strikes a bit more complex flavor (we did 30% sugar on both, so the tea flavor comes thru). It's a bit pricey imo...esp for half cup of ice in the brown sugar milk :/

Service is a bit slow, but when I went there was only 1 person working and 2 groups of people ordering different drinks so I'm pretty understanding. The drinks were really delicious. We got the Cloud Thai Milk Tea, the Wolfberry Tea Hot, and Green Tea with Lychee. It's really refreshing that with the fruit teas that you actually get fruit in your drink. Plus you get a little punch card, so when I'm in the area again I'll stop by.

Terrific, fantastic Good taste, whole mouth full with strawberries milk tea.

Couldnt find anything better outside or inside Chicago vicinity! I guess once you get used to your favorite boba shop u just need something different to excite your taste buds. The staffs were friendly, they even had time to explain the grades of Tea that boba shops often used for their drinks, and i learned something here! So usual boba shops often uses lowest grades of tea to make more profits, to be honest, you wouldnt know unless you love drinking tea regularly. Because the sugar and milk and boba often kills the true tea flavor. This shop uses higher grade tea leaves for their boba drinks, so if you are a true boba enthusiast, ask for no added sugar, so u can taste the define aroma from different types of tea drinks. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, and asked for no sugar (syrup). Drinking from top to bottom, strong red tea aroma clashes with the thickness of whole milk, making it silky smooth yet strickingly flavorful to the mouth. Then as i drink deeper, the density of sugar works gravitationally, creates a more fulfilling representation of Milk Boba, ahhh! At the bottom, the boba is freshly made, still chewy but not too soft nor hardened, gives a final contrast to the drink, so satisfying to my craving! I finished the drink in 5 min lol. I will definitely come again. Be sure to ask to personalize your sweetness! Dont let the sugar ruined your drink and become a true boba enthusiast.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Taro Milk Latte

Got the brown sugar milk tea and the taro latte, two of the most popular drinks at the shop. Both had very good flavor but were a bit too sweet in my opinion. However, you are able to ask for different sugar/sweetness levels. Their tapioca pearls are also some of the best I've tried - very good texture and taste. The customer services was fantastic! They were able to answer all my questions about the menu and also put a lot of care into making both drinks. The shop inside the food court was very clean and had hand sanitizer available.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover a business that could serve both of these needs so that we didn't split our group after having a delicious meal at Xi'an cuisine. The interior here is quite fun, similar to other spots in the Naperville area. There's several nice opportunities for creating social media worthy pictures and the amount of seating is fairly good for a dessert spot. The menu isn't the trendiest as it covers popular options for custard and bubble tea, but not the more unique options available in some other restaurants in the area. If it weren't located near a competitive market in the Naperville / Aurora area, this would rank a bit higher as you'll find more here than lots of spots in the Schaumburg to Oakbrook area. Presentation is a bit on the simpler side, but still fairly good. The quality of the ingredients was pretty good as well. Service wasn't super fast as there was only 1 person preparing all the orders, though the wait was surprisingly not too long. Prices feel a little on the higher side, but not unreasonable given the area.

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks

We got our fill of freshly cooked Taiwanese food before stocking up on your Asian groceries, walking off a full belly at Park to Shop (Aurora). This option was not available for a "meal" that comes with a drink in the price. All bentos came with a soy braised egg (the yolk was jammy and perfect) and some pickled yellow daikon. The food was freshly prepared to order. When you walk in, there's actually several options to order. You can 1) order at the kiosk by the cashier 2) place your order with the friendly woman behind the desk or 3) sit down at a table and order using the QR code at each table. The space was modern and clean, with a few tables near the front entrance that would fit a party of 4, but mostly tables and chairs along the side wall that would fit 2. Seating is similar to what you'd see at a standard cafe (like one that serves espresso/coffee drinks) so it might not be the best place if you have a large party and want to sit together. There was a friendly men and woman who were cooking in the kitchen and taking/servers orders, respectively. It was definitely a mom and pop vibe, which I love and am happy to support their business. Taiwanese noodle soup is on their menu but it's "coming soon." Once their noodle soup is being served, we will definitely be back to try it. It would be perfect during the colder months. Five stars!
