Visited Krema Coffee House in Downtown Plainfield on a Sunday morning. The inside had plenty of seating with a bar height counter, lounge seating, and tables & chairs. They also had an outdoor patio along the street right in front of the shop. This coffee stop must be a hotspot for the area as it was bustling. The line moved very quickly to order. Their menu had quite a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverage options. They also had a decent amount of baked goods, sandwiches and toasts to buy for food. I ended up getting their Honey Bourbon Latte which had such a unique but delicious flavor; perfect for a cooler day! My husband got a Chai Latte and noted it was on the sweeter side than spiced. We also got two drip coffees and our total was just under $20. What a great value for good quality drinks! I highly recommend trying Krema Coffee and look forward to visiting again or one of their other locations! Tip: Check out Happy Hour M-TH 2-5pm for $3 (12oz) Flavor Lattes, Cold Brew, Chai & Matcha!*excludes specialty drinks

Iced Americano. Was extremely weak. No flavor at all :(

Ordered the iced Americano with creamer. Was very, very weak. Could only drink half and tossed the rest. I drink coffee all day, every day. Was really hoping to love this place because it's easy to get to for me. But unfortunately for me it's not my style.

Nice cafe in downtown Plainfield. They offer a pretty extensive list of flavor options for lattes which can sometimes be more of a hinder but if the great tasting iced mocha l ordered is any indication then they probably have a good handle on making their drinks well. The interior is big but felt warm and inviting. Wouldn't have minded enjoying my drink there if I had some time to pass. The lower price point on many of the menu items was a pleasant surprise. Their sandwich offerings all sounded pretty good too. Will keep this cafe in mind for the next time I'm in the area.

I love Krema! Such a cute, cozy locally owned coffee in Downtown Plainfield. I go here often to get work done and it's probably my favorite spot in the area. It's never too packed when I go during normal work hours on weekdays and I usually find seating without a problem. I love how they have a variety of spots to hang out and work. There's stool seats, a few couches, and window seating at the front of the shop. Prices are great for what you get. I typically get my regular Iced Matcha with Oat Milk and vanilla syrup and it's always great. Maybe one day I'll be bold and try one of their speciality drinks because they always sound super good. I am also a big fan of their gluten free coffee cake which I ask for warmed when I'm dining in

I'm in the area for the weekend and my friend and I came here for a late lunch. It was so good! I had a cookie crumble latte and a bacon Gouda sandwich. Let me tell you about this bacon Gouda.... It was happiness in every bite! Brown sugar bacon, eggs, maple aioli and Gouda on ciabatta bread. It had a subtle kick and it tied everything together. So delish! The cookie crumble latte was good too. It wasn't too sweet either. Service was friendly. There are tables outside and inside. Highly recommended!

Omg what a cute coffee shop I stumbled upon while waiting for the Crystal store to open the next door . Super inviting with such a vibe ! This coffee shop was busy on Wednesday morning and I can see why. The aesthetic is so calm and relaxing perfect for grabbing coffee with your girlfriend or being zen while doing work: Many options to choose from your choice of beverage to brunch options . Oh and I can't forgot to mention they got gluten free bread . So to all my gluten free people check this place out. If I am ever back in the area this is going to be my pit stop for a morning fresh coffee .

Their seasonal menu is always front and center when you order.

I work from home full-time and as a way to get out and out of my house, I like going and parking myself at coffee places. Right in the downtown Plainfield is this cute little coffee house - Krema. It's cozy and comfortable and trendy. With tables and sofas and armchairs you can sink into, it's a cool spot in this overlooked downtown area to meet up with friends, do some work or just have that much needed quiet time for yourself. They have an extensive menu of both drinks AND food. You want a bagel? They have it...Avocado toast? Yup...with all the fixin's...A sandwich? Lunch is done! Their coffee is great too...because really that's what you came here for. They have a seasonal menu right in the front and that's usually where I like to order from because they have some interesting combinations. For your tried and true, they have you covered as well and all at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful and it's just an overall nice place to sit for a while.

Lockport's cute and cozy coffee shop! Love all the fun barista beverages. The Lavender Honey latte, iced birthday cake latte with sprinkles and the delicious cinnamon roll (my kids personal favorite).

Amazingly good coffee with some breakfast food. It isn't hard to decide where to go in Plainfield in the morning. Krema is better coffee partly because it's locally owned. Has good blends plus treats like bagels and muffins if you're also hungry. The prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing. Coffee is the main thing of course. I was around here in the morning and popped in to get some good stuff. The place is cozy and nice for doing work. Prices are a little higher than most coffee. What's good is this is locally owned. Basic coffee favorites here including a latte. It's $3.95 for a regular. They have non dairy milk like almond, which is an additional charge if you get this. Also they have a Vegan Banana Avocado Muffin. It's $2.50 for this and other pastries. They have some but they sell out fast so get here early to get some. Good local coffee. If wanting food they also have bagels and muffins. They have some vegan muffins so be sure to get here early enough while they have these.

I love this place so much! Everyone here is so kind, and it has a cozy & cool atmosphere :) I haven't actually tried their coffee because I get the lavender lemonade every time (it's SO good) but I'll definitely try it next time! The spinach artichoke toast is also delicious!

Adored this place. Stopped here on the way back from Chicago to STL (it's near 55). The town itself is rather quaint, with a few small businesses nearby. Even with it being small business Saturday, I found a parking spot, though it looked like everyone else showed up right after I ordered. The draw for me was that they had a gingerbread based drink (Bourbon Gingerbread), which more and more places are frustratingly getting rid of. Seriously, if any coffee shop owners want me to stop by, add that to your menu. The drink did not disappoint. That being said, the brown sugar bacon Gouda was the star - surpassed my expectations. So many chain coffee shops throw random crap sandwiches on their menu, but this was very tasty. I don't go up to Chicago that often, but anytime I do, this is going to be a required stop.

While visiting family we have come here twice. Its walking distance from my in laws place, so it's very convenient! Always great service and can be a bit of wait. But drinks are always great! We got a hot Chocolate for our little one. And I tired one of their specials: strawberry field. It was so pretty and yummy!! It wad nice and warm, and they usually play some soft music in the background; as many go there to study and such. Overall, great place to try! 10/10
