This little red building in the side of the road is a truly must stop. The staff is incredibly friendly and patient as you browse through the bakery case and drink menu. This Kafe and s WELL worth the drop. I drive by often when out west. My first time here I'm ashamed I passed by so many times and never stopped in. Situated just off of Rt 30 / Lincoln Highway in Cresthill IL on the side of the road it's a little red house with a decent sized parking lot. Super cute and way cozy. I always notice the patio that folks sit on early mornings and decided it was time. Upon entering I had three super friendly women say hello to me. It's larger than it looks with seating inside in nice booths and really well decorated. It's also very clean and customers keep rolling in on way to work. The staff is awesome and the women I spoke to informed me that they've been there about 5 years and that all the pastures are made in house. These are not average d eryday pastries they are luxurious treats beautifully created at a reasonable price. The in house bakers need a huge shout out along with the entire staff. Their coffee is really good too, string but not at all overwhelming. Actually excellent stop. I'm sure they will be seeing more of me. Bought a abuelita frappe, a Nutella danish, and some coffee beans. two massive chunks of the chocolate mix was in my drink so I didn't get a whole lot of liquid, but the drink itself didn't taste like coffee at all just sugar and chocolate. The Nutella danish that was incredible however! the beans on the other hand were roasted beyond imagination these beans were super stinky when I opened the bag it aired out a little after a day but I tried to make coffee with it and it clogged my grinder up they're super oily and dark beans. I had to toss the bag I had no other choice. there goes 16 bucks and a mess I gotta deal with! DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Incredible drinks. My wife had the Coconut milkshake. It was in the middle consistency of a thick shake and glass of milk; if that makes sense. On the thinner side for sure; but not too thin. Shake was *Loaded* with shredded coconut. I'm not a huge coconut fan... but this shake was amazing. I had the Iced Americano. (My daily regular at Sbucks). This went way beyond my expectations. Went in to buy some beans to make espresso at home and the girl opens a fresh bag of unmarked beans that are a dark roast. No date on the bag of when they were roasted. Sells me a pound and all she can tell me is it's a Brazilian dark roast no other info of flavor profile or anything or roasted date. Once I got home I thought she put black beans in my bag. These things are so over roasted a burnt smell like it would work 60% of the time every time !!! If you like an oily black been to mess up your grinder with then purchase here. Otherwise if you like over roasted burnt smelling " fresh " beans to drink then this is the place for you. read more

First time visiting and I can tell I'm gonna be a fan! I walked in and saw the pastry case full of different options if you have a sweet tooth. I personally enjoy a banana muffin, so I got that, and it was phenomenal! Very moist and flavorful. Along with my pastry I got their cinnamon chai. It wasn't as flavorful or spiced as I hoped it would be, but to their credit, cafes never really seem to get the flavor of chai right. It was pretty decent though. Service was great, and the person checking me out was very friendly. The ambience is nice as well, I came to study and felt it was a nice little place to set up and lock in. Overall great place! Well, I'm sure Johnny is glad that he's got honest girls working for him. I haven't been in there in a couple months, and I went in there today to get my favorite iced coffee and the two girls that are always in there, were waiting on me and I was trying to catch up with them a little bit, and somehow I forgot to take my card out of the reader, I took my drink, went outside, got in my car, was getting adjusted and all of a sudden Isabel came running out with my card , saying oh my God I can't believe you're still here. The service is good and isn't fake, all you could ask for. I hope they continue to improve the location. The prices are pretty affordable on most things. It makes it worth a trip to Crest Hill. Luckily it wasn't too far away so it was a nice pick me up one cold morning. This is a place that looks like a little house so it's easy to miss the first few times. Has a surprisingly big list of coffee. They have the usual stuff plus things that are more unique. A good one is the Oreo Latte. It's $5 for a regular. This is made with choice of milk and has actual Oreo pieces. Sugar high. The pastries look pretty good too. It's about $3 or so for each. They don't seem to have any vegan ones so that's one thing here sucky. Has only a few tables all of which are inside. It can be hard to get a seat. They usually aren't too busy though. read more

I don't usually give points for atmosphere, BUT they literally have CGC comics as display. WTF?! That's a 1st. Also a Squid Games mask lol. Just random display stuff. Really unique atmosphere in this small joint that's filled with love. It's just a small place in the middle of a field that you can miss completely if driving by, rarified air. This place is so adorable. It's really tiny and cozy and tucked away. There's only a few booths so it's not loud or crowded. The variety of drinks they offer is insane. It was impossible to pick just one but they do adorable little flights so that was obviously the move. I think the cookie butter was my favorite. I also got delicious little energy bites and a blueberry lemon cheesecake, which had a nice zestiness and amazing whipped cream. I go to this establishment every day since they opened. I have complained 4 times through this last year and this last time I complained they are now refusing my business. I always like to promote small businesses, but they need to learn how to treat people that give them daily orders with respect and know that if I am a regular, why is it so hard to have my drink correct, and they to no longer allow my business on their error is sad.
