Johnny had done it again! Great crew. Very friendly with great service, drinks, and fresh pastries, cookies and yum yums! Just like in Crest hill. Having a problem uploading photos. Ill be back to upload photos. Place is open 7-7 M-F Sat & Sun 8-7. Well worth ur stop. My fav the Abueluta latte is there. With a 1/2 pump of cane sugar. Great addition to this strip mall!

The staff were very friendly and it was super busy as they just opened the Joliet location. I didn't particularly like my coffee it was too bitter for me, but I will need to give some other drinks a try to give a fair rating. I also would like to try out some of their pastries because it all looked delicious! It is a small cafe with only a few tables available to sit. (all of them were full when we stopped in) so I wouldn't expect to sit here and do work/school work. There is also well done artworks for sale on the walls and comics which was an interesting but refreshing addition! I will give this place a few more tries before giving their coffee a complete review. :)

Such a cute place!

Went here yesterday for dessert and some coffee after dinner time for us. This cute little place attracted our eyes so we decided to give it a try. My boyfriend had one of the coffees and he really liked it. I must admit, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I loaded up on dessert. I had the Peanut butter & jelly Macaron which was really good & fresh. And the Dulce de Leche empanada which was yummy. My Dad used to drink chocolate de Abuelita when we were little, so next time I will give a drink a try. And I'll also get more desserts!

Very cute coffee and pastry place! We got the Nutella Danish and Tres leches cake! They also have good coffee options here.

The cakes are delicious as are the tamales. Best horchata around. Still have to try more food there.read more

I keep passing by and seeing this bakery so I decided to go there for lunch since it says they sell…read moretamales. I arrived and noticed the bakery was fully stocked with every kind of Mexican bread and also they sell tortas. I decided to have a torta cubana instead of a tamal. While the guy cooked my food I started grabbing some bread to take home. The first one I grabbed was soft but then I went to grab a different kind and it hard as a rock. I checked every bread I was going to grab and they where hard. This bread is not fresh and not even a day old. This bread has to have a couple days since it has been sitting. I had grabbed a couple breads so I had to purchase them as soon as I got out the place I threw them out. I get to work to eat my lunch and the torta has a weird smell so I opened it up and it was rotten onion and tomato with dark brown aguacate. Then the ham or whatever it is had a layer of grease. I didn't eat it. I wasted close to 30 bucks for this horrible food. I don't recommend buying anything here. The place was super clean and had a bunch of employees but how are you going to be serving this rotten food and hard bread. Whoever owns this place has to see what's going on here because maybe your going to loose customers and if you are happy with what your selling it's super sad and this business ain't for you.
