The Farmer's Breakfast was really good hearty, fresh, and exactly what you want to start your day. But the real star of the table was the shaved Brussels sprout Caesar bruschetta. I think great service made the experience a good one. We ordered the Bear breakfast combo and picked two scrambled eggs, steak and cinnamon roll French toast. My husband got coffee and water and I got the freshly squeezed orange juice and water. The eggs were overdone and cold and the steak was a bit hard. They had a trio of bear sauces and my favorite was the chipotle bear sauce. The experience was great but I think the things I mentioned can improve.

Hot and fresh. Only problem is that the cheese sauce has a film and was like water. It was scorching hot though. The burger was good sized, hot, and juicy. I wish that they offered to cook it to a temp other than mid-well. Over all, this place is fine. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. If I were in town again, I'd stop in again. Just a note. They charge a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. It's not noted anywhere with signage. It's not on the menu in fine print. It shows up on your bill. I've heard people say that "if you can't afford to tip, don't eat out. Well if you have to charge people a surcharge to pay by credit card, then don't open a restaurant. If you are going to do that, then post it on the menu and at the front counter so people know.

We drove by during and "off" time and saw the place had few diners, so decided to stop in. Hostess was friendly, service was quick from the wait staff, and the place was spotless. My "waiting for dinner beer" was ice cold, and that was a good start. The complimentary chips and queso was OUTSTANDING. I wanted two more bowls. I ordered a Reuben, my wife the Cuban. One of us got delicious fries, the other a Caesar salad. The Reuben was fine, though a little dry in spots. I'd imagine that's not ordered that often, so I always give a bit of dryness a pass. It was, however, stacked high. My wife said the Cuban was good as well. Prices were a bit high, but acceptable. I can see why this restaurant is popular, and I think it's SOOO close to being 5-star place in Morris.
